Is Watching TV Worldly

I overcame this by understanding what bad things can come from watching TV. What you watch matters so don't watch horror movies,violent movies etc. Anything on TV where the message is sinful avoid. If the message is good and will lead you closer to the Lord then its ok. Addiction you have to watch out for. Don't make TV important. Remember that God comes first in your life. The Holy Spirit will let you know if an addiction is developing. Just don't worry so much and trust in the Lord to guide you.

Demons are NOT something to take lightly. Although they are no match for Jesus the Christ, they are much stronger than the unsaved soul and even the doubting christian. Their greatest defense is to be unknown. I am 32 years old and they have tormented me since childhood. I used to think I was cursed. I realize now it is a gift, although it makes living much more difficult when you are more sensitive to them. Read Mark 5:1-3, Luke 9:37-42, Acts 8:4-8, Matthew 9:32-33, Matthew 17:14-18, & Luke 11:24-26. The only release or rest from them is in Jesus! You must fill yourself with Him!

Catholic, Muslim, African, Buddhist it don't matter... what matters most is a foundation in eternal life though Jesus: the way the truth and the life! You can be a Catholic and still not be a Christian. You can be a Muslim and be a Christian. To join together in marriage is sacred and should not be taken lightly! Ill repeat who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him. What do you think a person being covered in the blood of Jesus and then sanctified means?

Can I Play Music In A Bar

Though there are mixed opinions on the matter, I thank you all for sharing. I am not a new Christian, thus use of "returning". Temptation of alcohol/women has never been a problem. I turn them both down on the regular and love explaining to them why!! 	I know that sins were paid for completely by the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. That is why I don't understand why people tell lost individuals that they need to seek forgiveness for their sin. They need not do that, but just seek Christ/God until they find him. When they find Christ and what he did they should realize they are already forgiven, not seek forgiveness.

Horrors Of The Rapture

Jesus said always be prepared for you do not know when Jesus will come to take you. If all Christians are to go through the tribulation then we will know that Jesus is coming very soon. It makes the warnings Jesus gave us to be ready at all times unnecassry. He claimed he will come without warning. If we go through the tribulation then we know Jesus is coming and we will be prepared and Jesus' warnings become unecessary.

	Rabbi we should all agree though that drinking for the purpose of getting drunk is a sin. I agree with you thoguh in that drinking a little wine isn't a sin, and to use wine for medicinal purposes was a commandment. (1 Timothy 5:23)

But Elijah was taken into heaven. 2 Kings 2:11 11And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. Jesus was saying no man ascended into heaven of his own power. Every man that went to heaven were taken by God. Jesus was the only one who did it Himself.

Christian Ten Commandments

Gina7 I observe it as holy, I don't however rest because, to rest means to not cook,not wash or clean, not do the clothes, not fix anything, not take out the trash, not go shopping etc. If you do any work on this day you are not following the commandment given to the Jews in the OT. Not once in the Bible does God say "the Sabbath is a day of worship" he said "it is a day of rest." So if you claim you keep it then do so and don't do any work.

Audrey I never said before Israel no one obeyed God. I said the BIble gives no proof that before Israel people rested on the Sabbath. Gina7 again no commandment was given in Genesis. God hallowed the day and made it holy. He didn't say we must rest on that day in Genesis. God's people always knew the Sabbath was holy. Even God's people before the flood. It doesn't change the fact that we don't know if they rested on that day. Do you clean the counter top on the Sabbath? Empty the garbage?
