Properity Gospel Biblical
|
| |
The Lord will give you your heart's desire: if it's a good one then you won't desire prosperity. Almighty God has and does bring prosperity to His children i.e. those who have been generous themselves or those who prove themselves responsible. At one PG church I saw the wealthy few: Do they use such a place as an excuse not to be generous to others? I doubt that they actually put much into the collection (I knew one as a right penny-pincher). And I saw the want-to-prosper many who surely desired it and most likely gave all they could in hope of being one of those few. Do any make it? Well the Lord also gives the heart's desire of the wicked too, and not for good! It ushers in the old adage of being careful what you wish for. |

Is Islam The AntiChrist's Religion
|
| |
It can't be because Islam is a religion of works, not much more for Satan to exploit than we're already seeing: he can plague a Muslim to be dutiful and kill an infidel or plague one for not doing so. Even an ordinance which can be misappropriated somewhat will eventually lose its validity or be derided. Therefore it has to be relational because that can be manipulated much more than absolutes. It can only be propagated in Christendom: truth is getting harder to impede with such ripening information available, only the gospel will remain so it has to be a covert operation. The Antichrist just needs to make God seem altogether human because that's a god that the rebellious can abide in and the Antichrist can dethrone and usurp. |

Proof Of A True Prophet
|
| |
If you are looking for a prophet today then what else might you need to know: the hour that Jesus cometh? And now that the church has been founded, edified and now even abandoned, what then might you need to hear: we told you so? And if you could ask a prophet a question, might he just show you the Scriptures? What might Jesus say: "Are you still so dull"? If we show diligence in reading His word, obeying His commands and engaging Him in prayer then don't we acquire His very mind? Why the need for a prophet? Those who say they are Christians and look for prophets in these times are looking for something for themselves instead of Christ. The two prophets in the midst of Revelations are in a remarkable time wouldn't you say? |

Mega Churches Have Mega Pastors
|
| |
They can't tone down their self-lavishing...that's what they're in it for. Our generation's mindset has been conditioned to respond to trends and advertisements: come and be saved, really, who can save you more! For a first timer it's a lot easier to slink in with the hundreds going to mega-church than to walk up to that eerie little stain-glassed steeple-topped church, clonk that big latch and open that heavy door and face the faithful few inside: be careful, they might recognise you as a heathen and a sinner. So they fail the first test right there, not because they are scared of going to a real church but because they choose the faithless one over it. No fear of that at mega-church because there's no awe of God in there. |

Signs Of A False Prophet
|
| |
Cluny: you're not the only one spiteful for having been sucked into the world's system because the church let you down. Being raised on a God Who doesn't dole out consequences for sin was harmful. Compounded by our having gone our own way then we were not seeking the Lord anymore. Now we see fewer goods things and we despised God for it (I should have entered: insist upon them, which may have caused you to miss that). The crushed Christian seeks God again and on learning that everyone else is to blame but God...is hungry for pounds of flesh! I was spiteful yet God redirected that at the false church, it [spite] has dissipated now. These blogs reveal Christians tearing strips off each other at the slightest detail [Gal 5:15]...with pride! |

Signs Of A False Prophet
|
| |
There has been no prophet since the foundation of the church, they were God's instruments for imparting the foreknowledge of the gospel. Now all the knowledge that we need to acquire is at hand, much passed on by generation in blessed heritage. There are those who, having attained the mind of Christ through diligence, can portend what will transpire even who seem to be prophesying. Now no-one can be 100% Christ-minded but this is where our diligence to know Him gets us as near as possible. Only those basking in salvation and frittering away their reward, therefore estranging themselves from Christ, look for signs and wonders. God now withholds good things but the flaunts insist upon it, so making themselves easy game for the conjure men. |

Are Mormons Christians
|
| |
HappyLDS: I believe she did. Anyone who says they believe the bible but... is inviting Satan to the study. The ungodly baulk at the bible if they believe they have found just one fallibility, a Christian has a duty to ensure that his/ her teacher is not erroneous on even one count. The false church, Mormons too, typically ghost past the doctrinal perversions which the heathen is ignorant or indifferent to and press forward the usual soft-spot appeals of charity, outreach, etc, which those escaping the world fall for. If Christ is divided then His kingdom cannot stand or have you not read what He said about this subject Himself? The strive is for the mind of Christ and to surmount the devil's divisive work on Christianity (denominations). |

Are Mormons Christians
|
| |
Two Mormons stopped me and asked: "Do you believe in God", "Do you believe Jesus is the Son" and other elementary questions. Their further questions were strange and held me browbeaten but I managed to rubbish some of them from Scripture, so they quickly back-tracked to the fundamentals again: "Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God"! I felt compelled to ask them if they had a manual or training for this type of strategy, it was clearly an attempt to undermine me. Like any seasoned canvasser they were prepared for many ripostes but not that one, they will next time though. I determined with them that if being Christian is neighbourly influential, why had they crossed the Atlantic disturbing people in their homes. |
|
Are Mormons Christians
|
| |
They are far far removed from the Church of Jesus Christ. I inquired of the Mormon who'd knocked on my door why they accepted this addendum when the bible clearly warns against this. She agreed with the bible's admonition and then said: "however". Now anyone not conversant with the bible is still impressionable to this corruption and anyone teaching this does not have the mind of Christ by entertaining this conjunction to the contrary. Christ is not conflicted or divided! Christ came to fulfill the Law and the Prophets, to show us the Way to God and seal Himself as the Word of God by Revelation. There are no more prophets, no more law and no more testaments, just a diligence to be Christ-like in response to salvation. |

Big Salaries For Church Leaders
|
| |
The size of a pastor's salary in these times often reflects the amount of permissibility in his doctrine. The more carnal, the more lucre. Mega-church followers are not in the least bit put off by the excessive salaries of their pastor, au contrare, they are all too willing to buy into what he is selling! That's the sad truth. They are not concerned with his indulgent lifestyle because they are quite content with the notion that they can hold onto their sin and still go to Heaven. Great money brings great power and already these pastors are collaborating. Type HopeCity into Google and see how many of the top links they have secured...smart. Dave Gilpin is not going to fail where Paul Scanlon did. These two false churches have their ties. |

Avoid False Teachings
|
| |
Be most mindful of whom you are singing to! If you sit and intently absorb the false teacher's witness you will then stand up to sing to that idol you are collaborating with him on forming, holding out your hands and moving your spirit to a demon. Where God turns His face from in detest He allows a suitable demon to take up residency, like Molech and Asherah - names given them by men - though they can do nothing in response. Now you really need to get this, when you meet that demon you will recognise it because you have gotten to know it and to you it will be your god. There's a high price to pay for believing you can flirt with Christianity and not be diligent in knowing His truth. Jesus will be a mere stranger to you otherwise. |

Who is Kenneth Copeland?
|
| |
Signs of a false teacher #31: Don't let anyone judge you - this puts an almost unscalable fence around his flock, it is drilled deep into them for this affect. Is there a better way to render them intractable? But we are to judge the church, from the Word of God, we don't accept a pastor's teachings without it! Man sharpens man with it. Reproving his followers from Scripture often receives their shyster's declaration that's tantamount to: we'll see who's laughing on Judgement Day. What a gamble to take when we can know the Lord right here, right now. The charlatan will call it faith but the bible calls it folly. In the end his followers will meet the lord they have gotten to know by nature but not the One by Name. |

Who is Kenneth Copeland?
|
| |
Signs of a false teacher #17: Spin is a rescue for them, they are experts in pre-emption, recrimination and false testimony which is afforded them because untruth is ad infinitum, worldly protractions which will wear you down. Followers who are worried about what Christians and the bible say exposing their leader find relief in just one craftily spun sentence from him. As the false teacher shows himself to be unmoved by it all and that his preoccupation is with God's work, their hearts yield to God the heresy that they are willing to accept for humanly bespoken doctrines. Exponents will talk finance to appear transparent, they will remark how their ministry is active as though it's a good thing and end it with an insincere GBU. |

Identifying False Teachers
|
| |
Signs of a false teacher #23: When under scrutiny, beware him who offers 'God's ways are not our ways'. Now there are enlightened pastors but not one so privileged to have been bestowed some divine higher understanding inasmuch to be distinct from all God's messengers. This next level verbiage dupes followers into wholey trusting their pastor without question. Those that do question him will only invite more verbosity and misplaced verses leaving them compelled to nod their heads or fear looking stupid, and he knows it. As Christians warn of the charlatan's blaspheme, he will plead that his flock should pity them having not received his extra-divine counsel and will bless them but you can be sure that inside he is seething. |

Identifying False Teachers
|
| |
False Teacher: "God has never humble anyone in the history of the world"! Is this just folly that's clear to everyone or part of a cleverly devised scheme? Well it's not lucrative for a falsifier to 'communicate' the self-fulfillment gospel if you are worried about being embarrassed by putting their doctrine into practice. And being that it's image that's at the crux of their teachings, it's imperative for them to train you to deal with your conscience, like they have. By compromising your conscience they make you more receptive to their persuasions and diminish your faith. The bible says that shame is good which hones the conscience rightly. And the name of the false teacher...Dave Gilpin of the Hopecity Church. |

Were The Nephilim Real
|
| |
Darlene: Genesis 6:4 is an introduction to the Nephilim, what period they came about, how they came to be and some accolades to boot. If Moses had omitted the clause 'and even after that' then this whole issue brought on by the acute literalistic wouldn't exist. Try saying this verse without that clause, it is completely arbitrary. The clause is delimited by either commas or dashes to subordinate it within the sentence. Now you have put a comma after the word 'men' to give the same affect as your argument but there isn't one there in any of my bibles. This is surely a moot point in biblical terms but I believe the warning is here, I have noticed that other sentences can become just as obfuscated by setting this precedence. |
|
Were The Nephilim Real
|
| |
Darlene: The sons of God are those already in the incorruptible body (the sons of men are transformed by Christ) and when not on parade before the Lord they were taking the daughters of the Anakim. The resultant offspring were the famous giants called the Nephilim. Doesn't it stand to reason that the seed from the glorious body would be more vital than that of the lowly body? And this is how a giant is a descendant of Anak, via its mother, and for it be of (from, with, part of) the Nephilim (kind, genre). If the giants weren't sterile then how long before they'd rule the world? I reckon the sons of God paid whimsical visits and were even sought after by the power-conscious leaders of the tribe, possibly the three named lineage of Anak. |
|
Were The Nephilim Real
|
| |
As an afterthought, the unadulterated (by the sons of God) Anakite males must have stayed around to provide the daughters for them, albeit with the women not fancied by the sons of God or their cast-offs, and seeing as they had to give them up to their glorious rivals I should suppose that they weren't best pleased about the deal. Maybe the sons of God's punishment was seeing their own sons annihilated by the lowly men whom they were taking advantage of, Who knows! |
|
Were The Nephilim Real
|
| |
That's not conclusive, Darlene. They saw the Nephilim and the descendants of Anak and even recognised three of them. These three were obviously not the result of the union of the sons of God and the descendants (daughters) of Anak who would have been of the giant kind (Nephilim). Though the giants would also be the descendants of Anak maternally. It seems then that the tribe of Anak had the beautiful daughters and was therefore selected by the sons of God for their trophies. Now did some smart Anakites, namely these three, collaborated with them for their faces to be so recognisable? A providence of daughters for the breeding of might men? I can't say that many Anakite men would have waited around! |
