What Is The Pride Of Life

Obsession with self, even if it's self-contempt, can be rooted in pride. As we humbly walk with God He frees us of thinking of ourselves - good or bad. Pride isn't just bragging. It's trusting in ourselves or our opinions instead of God. We may not talk like a braggard, but our level of obedience in things like hidden service of others, faithfulness in what we may think are "small" things and prayer - indicates whether we really think we know better than God. The small book "Humility" by Andrew Murray, a faithful servant greatly used of God in the 19th century, is a thorough Bible study on the subject - very eye opening - should be required reading of modern western Christian "ministers."

Is Rotary A Cult Like Freemasonry
	People "hate" freemason because of its secrets, and because of that freemason are called a "secret society", there are no satanism in masonry, there is no freemason god.

Is It A Sin To Be On Welfare
	I do not believe it is a sin to be on welfare - but the fact that welfare exists is a strong statement of where the church is at today. People who are not Christians are being forced to help those in need, and thus the church is getting to skate. This makes the church a farce - for those who are members can just sit back and let heathans do the work?!? WOW

Was Divorced By My Wife

Matthew 19 and 1 Cor 7 are good texts to go by. I would consider her to be an unbeliever if she did this. 1 Cor 7 says a believer is not bound to the marriage if the unbeliever wants to leave. Don't let a bad person such as this control your life especially when she is essentially no longer in it in a big or meaningful way. It was a mistake to quit your job too. I don't think you realized it but you were letting her control you in this way when you did that.

Why Should People Attend Church
	If we are to go to church why is there so much scripture stating that the churchs have become corrupt and we should come out of the churches? Luke 21:5-6, Matt24:15, Mark 13:14, Luke 21:20-21, Rev 18:4. It looks like to me that history is sort of repeating itself and the churches are repeating exactly the same sins as the Nation of Israel. 1Jn 2:15- Mat 6:24- Isa 4:1 Pro 21:2, Isa 48:11, Isa 4:1.

Can Women Hold Church Offices

I used to be a very conservative Catholic who believed that women should not be priests or have positions of leadership in the church. However, I have come to realize that as time goes on, and as we mature in our knowledge of God, that the positions of our fore-fathers may not reflect who and what we are as church today. I would humbly submit that if God created us (men and women) in his image, he would have created us all equal! Now, do we think He would want 1/2 to be subservient to the other half? Put another way, do we believe that God the Almighty intentionally created 1/2 of His people to be unequal to the other 1/2?

What Day Is The Sabbath
	Why are people arguing over the day? if people want to worship on Saturday, why not if it makes thhem feel better. why get angry over a day. Leave it up to God to get angry.

Is Harold Camping Correct

Even if Mr. Camping is wrong about his end of the world date (which he admits he may be), all of us should be asking for God's mercy and be ready for the Lord Jesus' return and Judgment Day. "Behold the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it." Isa. 13:9 "And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be." Mt. 24:39 "But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and the perdition of ungodly men." 2 Pet. 3:7

What Is The Worst Sin
	The one sin that is the worst of all, is never accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. With other sins you can repent from them. If you never accept the Lord, then you are condemned forever.
