the real problem is children. many jewish congregations plan certain events for Sundays to discourage exactly this sort of union. many synagogues have their children's K thru 6th grade classes on Sunday mornings, altho every single other class is another day or evening of the week. Why? So they can't go to church, essentially forcing you to choose between the two. my experience is you'll find the Jews pretty biased against Christians and Christian activity, from marriage to raising children.
