Can You Cast Out A Demon For Me

Anyone that is born again in Jesus can cast out demons... Demons aren't just scary things that make people act weird.. there are demons of health also.. For instance, a demon of osteoporosis, or a demon of cancer..Or a demon of poverty etc... they are all demons and we can cast them out. No one has to be a "specialist" in this area. We all who are born again and 'know' Jesus have the power to cast them out and it the power from Jesus Christ. He told us this and he told us to do this. There are no 'special" people that have powers that other's don't have... All who are saved by Jesus and know Jesus have the authority to cast out demons.

Should I Marry An Older Girl

You say that everything about her is what you want except the age barrier - so you stand corrected, not EVERYTHING about her is what you want. Unless you can come to terms with the age difference, then DO NOT marry the woman - she deserves MORE than that.

Obviously, discuss children and what you both want out of a marriage, but brother, it is up to YOU to make sure she is a well-loved bride, not a half-hearted decision.

p.s. What's the big deal with the age barrier anyway? You only have 7 years between you....that's not a mother/son difference, that's nothing! Do us all a favor and break up with her if you can't come to terms with it.

Does God Forgive Divorce

This is my first post on this site. Interesting and so sad that so many christians are quick to judge.

There are so many issues and truths in the bible that are black and white and there are so many issues and truths in the bible that are gray... Unfortunetly marriage, divorce, and re-marriage is VERY gray and requires alot of research.

First, we must consider the "culture" during the time of Jesus's days and when the Good book was written, and why he would say that. A woman couldn't work and pay bills, she needed a husband, father, or provider. That is very different in the "culture" we live in today.

Continues....

Favorite Bible Verse

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11.1

Favorite Book Of The Bible

Psalms, its more applicable to my christian walk with Christ. In good and bad times David praised God, I admire that!

Need Encouragement Scripture

Here is a scripture that God had given me when Iwas diagnosed with a brain tumor God gave me this scripture Isaish 45:2-3
"I will go before you & make the crooked places straight. I will break in the pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darknessand hidden riches of secret places that you may know that I the Lord Who you call by name Am the God of Isreal Know that god loves you and will get you through Love you in the lord

Women Obedient To Husbands

Before sin came along, Adam and Eve had the idea marriage; he did not "lord it" over Eve and Eve was there for him for whatever he needed, emotional and physical support. If men would only love like Jesus loves, or love their wives like they do their own bodies, we would do anything for a man. Some men are so focused on submission they forget love!

True Sabbath Of The Bible

Lee "Isaiah 66 is really a portrayal of what would have been for Israel if they had accepted Jesus as their Messiah.

The section could not have been a future prophecy as it mentions the restoration of the Levitical priesthood". // Revelation 5:10 "And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth". Priest has a new meaning obviously in the new earth for those who have accepted Christ as their Saviour.

Do I Need A Bible

I see Paul got to you duane. I agree with him and Fran. Something is definately amiss with you. Your playing everybody. It's OK, I'm encouraged to read God's Word more now. I appreciate God's Word in the Bible even if you don't. So thanks for that at least.

Do I Need A Bible

duane, that's not your flesh talking. The Holy Spirit coaxes me to read the Bible. Why would the Spirit of God show just about everyone else here, one thing, but you something different. Sounds like a familiar spirit, if you know what that is. Your not talking from God. I really think you have bigger problems.

Is Gambling A Sin

I wouldn't come down on a person for buying a lottery ticket. Come on now. Where's your love and understanding. let it go. I don't gamble, but let people live. Your not their judge. Pray for them if you want, maybe God will show you something. I honestly do not think Jesus would condem them. He might rebuke the finger pointers though. This is really pathetic. Be nice.

History Of The Bible Codes

Ok, simple deducing. God did not mention Bible codes. Also, why would the Holy Spirit speak to us thrugh computer codes, when all we have to do is read the Word of God, and let the Holy Spirit speak to us. Sounds like dangerous thinking. I may not be the smartest person in the world, and that's ok, but at least I'm not foolish enough to believe in bible codes. I am God's child, and He shows me what He want's to, by reading His Word.

Are Adventist A Cult

Even Jewish scholars would tell you that the Sabbath was given only to Israel;that Gentiles were not obligated to observe the Sabbath save when they were in Israel.

Sorry but your assertion lacks even a hint of support from the literature.
---lee on 3/21/07
But it does have support from the Bible. "There remaineth therefore a rest (Margin: KEEPING OF A SABBATH) to the people of God".Hebrews 4:9 To truly enter into His rest,we walk with God every day,& in His power, keep the 10 CC.

Are Adventist A Cult

To truly enter in His rest, we cease from our own labor of fighting to not sin, and rest in the power of God to keep us from sinning. Unbelief causes one to sin. "But with whom was He grieved 40 years? was it not with them that had sinned... to whom sware he that they should not enter into His rest? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief" Heb 3:17-19 What unbelief do we find today? Could it be not believing God's words "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy?"
