I Am Afraid Of Death

I think some fear of the unknown espically if you've never had surgery is normal.Now I do think nightmares and crying is a bit troublesome.You should be able to pray about it and have peace.Pray for peace.As far as death God gives us some natural fear of it or we would get saved and then do stupid things to endanger our lives.God wants us here as His missionaries at home and away. |

Afraid I have to agree with the moderator since you have already begun to date him it is too bad since if you obey God you will experience some pain at seperation.God will help you through it and in the future if you date only Christians you will find the one right for you in God's will.You can continue to pray for your friend and you should be honest with him and tell him why and that you were wrong.Being christian isn't always easy but worth it. |

Almost everyone wears a cross but one that doesn't have Jesus on it.I have a lovely 14 caret gold cross that I wear to church at times and on special occasions.The cross is now empty but a proud symbol of christianity-IMHO.I am not catholic but I've never seen anyone even a catholic wearing one with Jesus on the cross.Not even a couple of catholic priests I met while visiting my cousins wore one.They didn't even wear collars. |

I think our government would act in time to prevent a nuclear war.If they don't most of us will be destroyed instantly.Any survivors will exist in a dog eat dog survival of the strongest enviornment unless they die from nuclear fallout.So life as we know it will end.I don't think God will permit this but if we the USA don't repent and turn from our wicked ways HE might. |

God can cure absolutely anything.He created us.HE can certainly repair us.Take your medicine,pray do everything you can in serving God.Do pray for mental healing too.Your doc may start changing meds etc.Lo and behold he may scratch his head one of these days and say I don't understand it but you don't need medication anymore and if it doesn't happen ? God still love you and you'll be healed in heaven. |

I believe that would be one who believes in Jesus and made a public profession of that at one time but seldom if ever does anything for the church like usher teach Sunday school or Bible study does anything to support missions or help the poor or sick.A strong Christian will do some good works if physically able. |

Well,it certainly appears that at one time at least they did.Satan who was named Lucifer at one time according to scripture.Not only Satan but a third of the angels were rebelious and cast down to the Earth after a battle with Gabrial and the other good angels.I believe these angels are what we call demons and they still serve Satan and will spend eternity in Hell with him some day. |

Sometimes I wonder if it does exist (I'm not catholic) say people many years ago who never ever had the chance to hear the message of salvation and who Jesus was.I can hardly believe our loving Lord would let them spend eternity in Hell.I don't believe if such a place exists that a person could buy their way out with money. |

I am literally like a brand new person.I've been saved for 28 years now but when I was saved my friends instantly saw it.Like the one I would have called the least like a Christian at that time at work after only 2 hours said what happened to you? did you get religion or something? Everyone I worked with at that time was born again within a year and faithful in church except for 2.So too many changes were apparent for me to go into detail about. |

Yes,but I don't think a true believer will want to sin and more I think they will try hard to improve.If they aren't I wonder if there is a true heart change.We should want to live our lives as Jesus did. |
