The key, is to define the term, SIN. 1 Corinthians 6 gives a list of those who are not saved. There are trespasses, offenses, and sins. 1John, in authorized bibles, says truly converted Sinners, can no longer sin. The unauthorized bibles Say we can not sin regularly. Yes, you will struggle with lust and anger, but you will No longer commit literal murder or fornication.... If you truly are saved from sin. If you can no longer commit those sins listed in 1 Corinthians 6, it is because Christ not only forgave You, but is keeping you from those sins which lead To spiritual death. much more to say.. All new covenant reasons for divorce and remarriage Have a christhearted common thread. Christ will "never leave us or forsake us". But He will allow us to leave or forsake Him. Forsaking, refers to forsaking the one flesh covenant, Through sexual intimacy of any kind, with any other. Leaving, refers to a willful choice to abandon the other. Attempting to get ones spouse to forsake or leave, so you can APPEAR to be Christlike, is nothing less than demonic. Yet if you possess Christs heart, which would prevent You from accepting sexual intimacy from another, or trying to get them to leave you, and you have been forsaken, you are free to remarry. Are All Sins Equal To God

Two biblical truths. 1) there are sins which mandated death, by God, in the old covenant, and many which did not. 2) The new covenant identifies three types of " falling short". Trespasses.. Heart issues, which have not offended another Require private repentance. Offenses, heart isssus, which have offended another, Go to them one on one, seeking the offenders restoration to Christ, through repentance. Sins, such as listed in 1 Corinthians 6. They require public rebuke before all, because those literal sins, destroy all spiritual intimacy with God. This is why Paul said to rebuke before all ( those who sin) so that all may fear separation from God

In Love With A Non-Christian

If you let your feelings, cast down Gods protective command to only marry "In the Lord", you have forsaken The protection His word had for you. Once his and your lusts, run their course, you will come to the horrifying realization, your relationship was void of any spiritual depth. There is NO promise you can save him. You may Well, spend the rest of your life, not being able to share your true heart with the man you have become one flesh with..... Even if he is a " nice guy" If you are truly born of love, he will have NO sensitivity To those things most dear to your heart. Why Do People Leave Church

I think these are mostly reasonable reasons that people leave church. I suppose I left because I had been in church all my life and didn't understand that 'discipline' is an action of developing a relationship with a living God and not a euphamism for 'punishment'. I now like to talk to God like I like to talk to my girlfriend. I love to read the Bible as much as I like to read my email. I write my thoughts down everyday so I can keep a record of things that happen - both good and bad and about things I learn from the Bible - or how I preceive what I read. Sometimes I like to get away all by myself and do zero. Sometimes He actually meets me there! It's way cool now. Now He's REAL.

Can I Marry A Divorced Man

Since Scripture clearly states that divorce was given for the HARDNESS of people's heart, WHY on earth would a true believer wish to resort to such? Along the way God gives the WORLD things that are clearly for the temporal benefit to UNSAVED man, like drinking booze is one yet just as it is not for the child of God to drink alcohol it is likewise NOT for the child of God to resort to divorce! See the world does NOT trust that God's grace is sufficient but a child of God had better else how is he different. Christ sacrificed Himself for His unworthy bride and Ephesians 5 says that believers should do likewise in their marriage.

Obama Is Bankrupting America

The issue isn't Fox or CNN, its whether Obama is bankrupting the US. The issue isn't whether Bush and the republicans were doing it too, it is whether Obama and his political friends are doing now. We can't continue down this path spending trillions more than we take in. I think every republican and democrat that has voted for iresponsible bailouts and spending should be sent home at the next election. The projection is that we will have close to 10 trillion in debt at the end of an Obama presidency. If that is the case, that equals about $133,000 of government debt for a family of 4. That is on top of school debt, car debt and home debt and credit card debt. We are effectively bankrupting our nation and enslaving our kids and grandkids.

Are You A Lukewarm Christian

The problem that many have is one of two things, either being "lukewarm" in their attitude towards Christ and his gospel and thus not showing significant dedication. And the second problem is from those who become almost like "hot heads" about the Gospel. Looking for occasions to have gospel quarrels or who wish to point out every speck in someone else's eye. So the real trick is how to not be lukewarm, but still not be a hot head.

I Am Doubting God Exists

Belief in God is a matter of faith, not knowledge. Obviously some become overly dogmatic and though they only have grounds for faith, they can't live with that and manufacture certainty and pretend to knowledge. Faith is based on feelings and on thoughts that seem to point towards a benevolent creator and God, but we cannot simply look at physical evidence and reach certainty. Many have very convincing experiences, but it isn't like most lend themselves to independent investigation. In the end, even with a miraculous experience, if God is all powerful, He has the power to convince us (even of a lie) which makes the experience still a subject of faith, not knowledge.

When Was Revelation Written

Revelation is questionable. Supposedly written by John, but the writer of Revelation doesn't seem to know how to use proper Greek, whereas John knew how to use it in his letters and in his Gospel. The book is likely created sometime shortly after the apostles. Its highly almost endless symbolic nature is not similar to any other New Testament writer's style or work, which also adds to its questionable status. Scholars have disagreed over the books authenticity for almost 2000 years. It may be scriptural, but I would not consider it absolutely authoritative. But, given its highly symbolic nature, even if it is John's work, it is almost impossible to prove its meaning. Every generation and denomination has interpretted differently.
