Sabbath Breakers Going To Hell

This discussion reminds me of when the rich young ruler came to Jesus and asked what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus told him keep the commandments. Of course, Jesus was merely showing that IF he could without sin keep every commandment, he would have eternal life. Nobody, but Jesus, has or can do so. We have a sin nature and will never keep all the law in this body. Remember to sin on one point is to be guilty of the whole law. Thus, live perfect and sinless or eternally die, if you want to be judged by your works. Trust Jesus and live, if you want to be judged by HIS payment of your sins.

Days In The Creation

If I might interject. Clearly, God created the world in 6 days, however those six days are defined by God. The world was different then, no rain, apparently no sun or moon until the third day.Nothing indicates 24 hours. We merely know "evening and morning." Without the Sun we have no idea how all that happened. Also, time, unlike truth, is relative. A doubting world benefits little from seeing Christians debating fine points of interpretation. We all agree that God made the world in 6 days. What is to be gained by a dispute as to how long those days were? Will this cause anyone to come to the knowledge of the truth? It is time for this debate to end. Surely, there are weightier matters that concern us.

Can't legally produce something without significant changes due to copyright issues.. Eph 3:9 NIV says "God, who created all things" KJV adds "by Jesus Christ". Rom 1:16 NIV says "the gospel" KJV adds "of Christ". Subtle changes to reduce Jesus, His blood, God's name. Study for youself and ask the Holy Spirit which version glorifies God, Jesus and His power? There are literally hundreds of differences between the versions. KJV made major impacts on the world in it's time....shouldn't God's same word be able to do the same today?

Demon Jumped On Me

I have had demonic visitations of various kinds before Christ became my lord and saviour. I dabbled with witchcraft in early adulthood and paid the price in the future. I have been held down against my will and I have also been physically molested and emotionally tormented. I fear I also was possessed on several occasions. The latter I can't be sure about. This is all very hard to talk about, but I have wondered if other Christians have had the same experiences.

Is Gambling A Sin

I believe gambling is right in line with drinking alcohol. It is not wrong in and of itself. The motivation behind it is what makes is sinnful. Drinking is not a sin. Gambling is not a sin. Dancing is not a sin. Gambling becomes a sin when it turns into something more than a casual "for fun" activity. Too many people jump up and say something is sinful because of potential side effects that occur as a result of additional, conscious decisions some people make down the road. I can drink and not become a drunkard. I can dance with a female and not allow it to turn lustful and provocative. I can gamble for fun and still work at my job and support my family. $5 bet per day, seriously..

If Mr. Camping really believed that the world is going to end in 2011, then he would not have applied for 10 new stations in the last FM NCE filing window. These stations if granted, have three years to be built and many in this category will go on the air after Mr. Camping's end of the world date. One more point, Colossians 1 says that "Christ is the head of the body, the Church." If we posit that the corporate church no longer exists, then that implies that the Head has died. You see, you cannot have one without the other. If there is no church, then you have no Christ. But if you have Christ, then you must have the church. He will not deny His own.

Why Does God Love Us
	John 3:16 for God so Loved the world , all of us saint and sinner that he gave us his only Son so who ever belived in Him shall have have life. What a gift that Our Father has given to us, a world of fallen people that sly away from His love and hide in our sinfully nature. I pray Dear Father that it would not be to late to share the love that you have given thru Your Only Son JESUS. AMEN AMEN

Is There Eternal Security
	Bob, i like very much what you have to say. Many here speak of works all the time. I hardly hear them mention Christ or the Holy Spirit working in their lives. It is all about what they have to do, condition, to enter heaven, and not what Christ is doing in their lives. They are very proud.

What Does Born Again Mean

in John 3 Jesus says one must be born again of water and the spirit. The only place in the NT where it talks about both of these is in your baptism. See Acts2:38. There you see faith repentance and baptism as our part of the covenant and God promising us forgiveness of sins and the help of His Holy Spirit. I've always looked at that question as synonymous with asking, "Do you have faith in God, Believe in Jesus, Have your hope in Him, repented of your sin, been baptized into Christ and are doing your best to live holy, that is separate from sin as God has instructed while keeping at the work of encouraging the brethren and expanding His Kingdom?" Although "are you born again", or "are you saved" might be easier

Are There Prophets Today

Jer 14:14-15 / Jer 23:14,25 / Matt 7:15, 24:11 / Mark 13:22 / 2 Peter 2:1 These are some teachings about false prophets. There are a lot more false prophets than real ones referenced in the Bible. How do you know who is true? Duet 18:17-21 False prophets speak against that which is already written in the word of God, and if something they say does not happen, they are a false prophet. A prophet of God is never wrong. Also in the NT see in Gal 1:6-9. You have everything already though in the scripture that you need for life and for salvation. Are you not listening to the word? You don't need a sign, you need faith.

Divorced And Now Dating A Girl

If you left her (which you didn't) you would not be free to remarry unless she committed adultery. The Bible is silent in the case where the other leaves you, except in the case of a woman who is sent away from her husband. Here the husband must give a write of divorce so that she can remarry. That's OT, but you see what God expects in this case. Seems like you are ok, but study the word on this for yourself. Where the Bible speaks, there should always be obedience, where is it silent there is generally liberty. My only pause would be, did she leave you because of adultery? The Bible is silent here too though, except for all those stonings.

Can A Virgin Marry A Non-Virgin
	I was a male virgin that married a female non virgin. If it bothers you at all do not get married. Find a virgin to marry. We have had 18 years of issues over this. I wish I knew this before we got married. If this does not apply to you then it is hard to understand. I have forgiven my wife, it still surfaces. I hope this helps someone out there. It is hard to find this information.

Is It Possible To Not Sin
	yes it is possible when we walk in the spirit. And we do not walk in the spirit all the time. Too many things going on in this world and we get caught up with many of them.

	eloy, you have moved mountains? Is that true? Can you discribe how that happened and where? I never heard of anyone moving a mountain. Not humans beings.

	happy, I don't know how anyone could call you an idiot from so far away. do you believe Jesus was a created angel?

	Has anyone moved a mountain? Just wanted to know how many mountains have been moved. And if no one has, does it mean no one has living faith? and so no salvation?
