Can I Remarry After Divorce

Can I remarry? I left my husband for another man. I was a Christian and knew it was wrong. I left the 2nd man because of the consistent influence of the Holy Spirit. I then communicated with my husband (we were divorced by now) that I wanted his forgiveness and reconciliation of our marriage. He was kind, accepted my apology and offered forgiveness. He also said a reconciliation was not possible. His girlfriend had moved in and he had moved on. We continued to talk and I was consistently in prayer asking for the Lord's will. Well, much time passed and he was very true to his word and never returned any of my calls or wanted to meet with me. I have been repentant to the Lord and to my husband, but does this mean I am doomed to a life of solitude?

Husband Has A Female Friend

I, also, have a male friend who recently married. I am not interested in hanging out with him. I respect the institution of marriage and the wisdom of our Lord. His new wife does not want to meet me. I have written offering my blessings and assuring her I am a Godly woman. He is not allowed to talk to me. We can no longer share news about our families. I believe the entire issue rests upon "trust". If she cannot trust him to be faithful as he stated to our Lord that he would be, or trust his judgements on who is a true friend, I believe the marriage will eventually will be doomed. He told me prior to their marriage, she was jealous. There is evil within jealousy. I pray for them daily that trust will be a part of their marriage.

Are Tatoos For Ladies

How about we concern ourselves with issues that REALLY matter... Like salvation for instance. If a person believes that Christ is the son of God, and was sent as the ultimate sacrifice BY God to die on the cross that we (sinners) might be saved, if they call on the Lord confess their sins and turn to Him, they will be Saved. Jesus was most concerned about LOVE. I could be someone who looks really religious on the outside, who would never get a tattoo or a piercing, but if I have not love.. I have nothing.

Who is Joyce Meyer?

Every time I watch Joyce Meyers, I am empowered and encouraged. She preaches from scripture, and I believe by the power of the Holy Spirit. But yes, she is a human.. a broken vessel.. just like the rest of us. So if one is looking for faults, you will find numerous faults and flaws in her, just as you will in all of us... that's why Christ died.

Witness To A Jehovah Witness

Ashley, when did you become a Mormon?

National I.D. Card In 2008

I have been in Korea for 3 years now and have had an ID card and Believe me, it has to do with being an alien in Korea, not the mark of the beast. Nothing on it talks about religion, only job and home address. The government already has enough info to keep track of us in America. If you have a SS card or drivers liscense they can track you. Worry about getting connected to the Lord, and keeping ALL of HIS COMMANDMENTS, not your government.

A Christian Surrogate Mother

Didn't God use a strangers womb to bless us with his son??? Seems like whenever God speaks to a person the enemy uses the Pharisees to try to bring them down.. If the Holy Spirit has put this on your heart remember Mary and be strong.... I pray you have peace that only God can give you....
Your sister in Christ,
Trish

I Can't Forgive Myself

If we insist on not forgiving ourselves we act like we know more than God. We also need God's help to quite beating ourselves up and remembering, but HE is big enough for that also.

Do People Have Rights To Pick

Hi Judith - tried that and it doesn't work...I suggest you ask God for a partner but leave your partner 'type' to Him and know that he has the perfect match for you - you may be surprised, but just know He has your best interests at His heart and yours. Love to you, Tricia.

We Will Miss The Pope

What Barbera is saying, I agree with; he was a LEADER and a LOVING MAN who cared about people. He will be missed by many, not just Catholics. Barbera did not call him a God, or Holy - she was being sympathetic. Love to you Barbera.
