Is Alice Cooper A Christian

The 50's were not a moral period. Women were held to morality, the men were not. Women were encouraged to stay with adulterous husbands... "mini gods"... what blasphemy! Pharisees thought they were moral, but Jesus saw their hearts. Satan is all about deception. What may look pure, at times is not! Alice Cooper had his sinful life, but he received Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. He has repented. He has been married to one women for 33 years and has been faithful. I am leary of men who speak with haughtiness, they are usually covering something. Yes, there is much healing that the Lord must do in my heart, I know, but only Jesus Christ can do that. When I was at Alice's concert, there was a spiritual connection.

Why Are Teens Cutting Themselves

Cutting has been in our culture for years and years and yes it does date back to Biblical times. Teens today are filled with emotional pain and self-injury is an unhealthy coping mechanism that takes the emotional pain away--or at least that is the lie that the teens believe--because it only comes back again and again and again. Its a slow yet self destructive cycle of abuse ---to themselves. Its eaiser to feel the outward pain then deal with their emotions I will keep your daughter in prayer. Who Is The One True Church

The one true church is the Body of Christ, a body of believers that believe in and follow Jesus Christ as the Risen Savior and Lord of their lives. Denominations are made by man, but what joins us together is the confession of our mouths and belief in our hearts that Jesus Christ was crucified, died and buried, resurrected in 3 days and ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God. He sent His Holy Spirit to empower believers in Jesus Christ to live a Christian life. So the one true church follows Jesus Christ, we may be separated by denominational names, but we follow one God.

Can Ladies Wear Pants

I have been in a church for 12 years that have preached dresses at all times. Many portray to be wearing dresses at all times but are seen outside the church in pants. What I have seen is the women who wear dresses become self-righteous. Duet.22:5 is often taken out of context. One should read the entire chapter. I believe too much emphasis is placed on works, rather than glorying in the cross in which Jesus fulfilled the law.

Called To Witness In Bars
	I can only confess that I was a sinner. As such I wonder how much sooner I would've come to the Lord if some spirit filled person of faith had been bold enough to find me in the place I was at rather than me having to find them? Don't live in the church, BE THE CHURCH!!!

I Hate My Husband
	My heart goes out to you. I am in the same situation. 16 years now and I don't know what to do either. Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde lives in my house. I'm not much help but I'll say a prayer for you. That's all I have to rely on. I'm 41 and lots of times I'm not ALLOWED to go to church. What do you do then? May God watch over us and bless us both.

My Husband Doesn't Love Me

Leave the marriage. Mine in the same, and I have finally given up after 20 years. I do not believe for one more minute that God wishes me to stay in a relationship where my husband does not care for me, and emotionally and verbally abuses me on a regular basis. This is a self esteem issue. Being a Christian doesn't mean being a doormat forever. You love God? Then love his creation: YOU. Take care of yourself- Your God given life is too valuable and too short to subject it to abuse.

Hiding Length Of My Affair

I just looked back at some of your responses to other people, and on 6/16/07 you told someone to "repent of your adultry, it's not of God!" It seems you know the answers but can't apply them to your own situation. If you don't tell your husband the truth your relationship will never be able to heal because it will be built on lies. Jesus NEVER taught that it is okay to lie to anyone for anything. It's time to get real with yourself and your husband.

Salvation Or Baptism First

Emcee: I would be interested to know the scripture references you find to prove that Jesus needed salvation, and that Mary and John the baptist NEVER sinned. The only person who was without sin was Jesus. As for your statement about Bibical history, How about the day of pentecost when three thousand were saved THEN baptized? Acts 2:41. Simon believed (1st) and was baptized (2nd)Acts 8:12-13. The Ethiopian eunuch believed with all his heart (1st) and then was allowed to be baptized (2nd) Acts 8:26-37.

Salvation Or Baptism First

Clearly, salvation comes before baptism. Baptism represents the dying to sin, being buried & rising again to show others the decision you have made to accept Christ as your personal Savior. Baptism is not required as a part of salvation remember the thief on the cross beside Jesus, and Jesus told him "this day you will be with me in paradise" getting down off the cross and being baptized was not a requirement but rather is a commandment of God for an outward show of an inner decision.

Someone Commits Suicide
	The answer to this is very simple, if that person had accepted Christ as their Savior they will go to Heaven. If they had not, they will not go to Heaven. No matter what a person does, they can not lose their salvation - they are eternally secure - it's a done deal.

My Christian Son Lives With A Girl

I believe the best way to handle this situation is to show your son in the Word of God how that he is being drawn into Satan's snare, and then let it go and pray for the Holy Spirit to intervene in the situation. The worst thing you can do is to turn your back on your son. God loves us no matter what sin we commit, and you may be the only Bible his girlfriend ever reads, so you should be ever diligent in showing Christian love to both your son and his girlfriend!

Do You Witness On The Streets
	Fitst ask them how they are doing. Listen to what their burdens or cares are. Once you have listened ask to pray with them. The key is do not put yourself first. Share with them that Jesus cares about them and died on the cross for them. The love of Christ is what won me over.

Sick People Have No Faith In God
	It saddens me that a Pastor would teach like that. I agree one should stay home if they are ill and could spread their sickness or disease. When one is sick this does not mean they have no faith in God. One must stand in faith for the healing. God is our great physician. Church does not save us Jesus the son of God saves us. God's blessings to all.

What Is A Free Will Baptist Church

I don't make a big deal of church names. I do make a big deal on what their church is based on ,their vision and their confessions of faith; What the foundation is of that church. We do have a free will whom we will serve. I don't believe we are forced by God to make a decision of whom we will serve. Our heavenly Father gives us the choice. Life and death is before us daily. Who will you give your life to today? God or the devil. God's blessings to all

Money Or Faith Most Important
	I do believe that faith is more important than money. We are not here on earth to serve money but to live by faith in Christ Jesus. I firmly believe that our heavenly Father provides all our needs according to His riches in glory. Just as He takes care of the earth (birds, flowers etc.) How much more will He take care of you

What Are Private Tongues
	I believe tongues is my prayer language. Sometimes I have no idea how to put words to my prayers. At that time I pray in the Spirit/tongues. It strenthens me and I know that the Spirit of God is praying through me. Such a powerful tool.
