Cutting is a common problem in early and late teenage years. When you're actually seeing it through your peers, it makes a difference. It's a way some people fit in, but others use differently. You're daughter is most likely using it for attention and to fit in. If you confront her she'll probably pull the "You just don't understand" card, being 17 myself, I know that's how I would handle it. Watch her closely because it will carry on into her later years, ESPECIALLY into high school. |

Hello, I would like to relate to you out of my own experience, it is too long. I believe solidly that they both need to fast and pray seriously over this. It is quite possible God wants them together. In my experience, we never found out what God wanted until we separated from each other for one week and fasted and prayed. I know that to flirt can be very harmful. I go out of my way to see their side. Then my desire to flirt goes away. If it is of God, He will provide the need and the deed. I have read the other replies. You cannot save your family. Your walk speaks loudly to them. Preaching to them does not. Fasting and praying does the job on your part. Having done all, Stand...do not waiver. If God wants you to lead them, He will tell you so. Stay close to Him and listen.
