Can A Christian Be Liberal

By the way, I am a conservative independent. I support the G.O.P., because they stand for my values. Everyone have a great life. I am finished with this conversation and will leave still not having my questions answered. Just one parting word: I can back up everything I say with cold-hard fact, but the modern paradigm, even that which has the label of Christian, will not let facts get in the way of a good theory. How's that for being under 85 words? God bless.

Can Christians Drink A Beer

Alcohol should only be ingested by Christians for medicinal reasons (I Timothy 5:23). Other than that, alcohol is forbidden.

I ask that you never make assumptions on my part again. Thank you.

Can Christians Drink A Beer

You do not know me. I oppose both heretical liberalism as well as the pharisaism of adding to God's Word. I also stand against the sayings of those who do not even bother to find out the circumstances as to why God said what He did or those who refuse to follow the grammar of Christ's sayings, and as such, miss the whole point, and then enforce what they think God said rather than what He actually did.

Do People Have Rights To Pick

Judith, it is fine to ask for what kind of spouse you want. Abraham asked for a certain kind of wife for Isaac. I think it is foolish not to. Just be careful, pray, and make sure the guy is, in fact, the Lord's choice for you.

Out Of Anger I Prayed A Bad Prayer

It might surprise you that Paul prayed a similar prayer. He did not pray for anyone to die, but he did want God to reward an evil man according to his works against Paul (II Timothy 4:14). David also prayed many "impreccatory" prayers against his enemies.

Were you right? Probably not. We do have to be careful with our words, especially in anger. But if you have repented, trust God to be forgiven.
