Who is David Jeremiah

I'm not much for blogging, but I'd like to comment on the ministry of Dr. David Jeremiah, specifically as related to his book, "What in the World is Going On?" While working on my first Christian novel, "A Righteous Wind," set during the Tribulation Period, immediately following the Rapture, I read Jeremiah's book and found it closely in keeping with the Bible concerning the end-times.
