Thanks Rhonda.... You make a good stand. I do desire God above man. PERIOD. My heart still loves Mark and I do pray that relationship is restored. He is a man that loves the Lord and he did realize his sin. I believe that is in part a huge reason he walked away to get his own heart in proper alignment with God. We both had to get there. God is a jealous God and I to believe that we can have no Idol above him. I desire his truth as well. I agree also after all of our discussions that we are to submit. God tells us to submit to the authorities.Marriage is part of our government. We are not married until the document is signed. I was speaking "becoming one with" due to our sin. BUT FACT REMAINS.. Exzucuh: You are right. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. That is why - when we sin - WE ARE TO REPENT AND TURN AWAY FROM THAT SIN - to stop sinning.... I don't mean to start a conflict here and Christians don't have to argue with one another. The act of fornication is SIN.. PERIOD. My only question was the fact that I feel a greater bond to the man which I was getting ready to marry than I might have had with him given the issue of such deep intimacy. I believed and still want to marry this man..... I only wonder if the Lord feels that we became one at that moment. I don't know. I'm not God. He tells us in Proverbs to not be joined to a prostitute for don't you know you become one with them.......

In response to the reply about getting my sins covered...... My fiance' and I confessed our sin - went to the Pastor for counsel and turned from the sin nature of our relationship. I do have an intimate relationship with the Lord. He has forgiven both of us for walking in the flesh and it is cast as far as the east is from the west..... Because of JESUS - I am justified - Because of God's grace and mercy ( PRAISE GOD) I'm also forgiven. I will not live in condemnation for that does not come from the Lord. Conviction of sin comes from my Father as well as discipline. I'm walking out discipline right now....................................

Thank you all for your response. I just still have faith that he is the right one. I have caused him lack of faith in me because I struggled with submission areas, faith in moving from my family to be with him. Its not all his fault that he walked away. I'm just having a tough time walking in faith while I wait upon the Lord. I do trust that God has only GOOD PLANS for my life and has forgiven my sins. Thank you!

We all must study the bible and it's origins! Very important! Do not be afraid to question the bible, there is no question too big for God! Jesus walks on water Matthew 14:22. Telling people not ask questions is like telling them to find a different religion! Luke 2:46 After 3 days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Writers, philosophers, and historians all agree, haha! Cornelius Tacitus, Lucian of Samosata, Suetonius, Pliny the younger, Thallus and Phlegon, Mara Bar-Serapion,Josephus, the four Gospels. He existed, whether you believe his teachings is a whole other issue!

Church of Christ A Good Church
	I am a baptized believer that fellowships with the Church of Christ. While I don't think that it is exactly like the first century church (what church is?), I do think that they try to follow the Bible.

My Husband Just Left Me

Viewing DiVinci Code Movie
	I'm a christian and I'm SO excited about seeing the Divinci Code movie. I read the book, and like all other works of fiction, I enjoyed its plot twists and interesting references to the art world, but recognized that it is FICTION. Christians who cannot recognize the difference between fantasy and reality will have MUCH larger problems than a silly book and a silly movie!

Does Suicide Send You To Hell

We are all sinners but those who act superior and judge others, thinking their sins are alright, but suicides are not, are deceiving themselves. All of the so called Christians here judging suicides so heartlessly will be judged for their lack of love. There is no sin that God does not forgive, understand and empathize with. We are his children and we, as parents, know that we would forgive our children any wrong...how much more God will forgive us and understand us.

When Jesus said He would build His church upon this rock (when He was talking to Peter) the rock that Jesus meant was NOT Peter himself (although Peter does translate to rock) but Jesus was referring to the scripture in the previous paragraph whereas Peter had just gotten revelation from the Father above that Jesus IS the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus was referring to the truth of that revelation that Peter received...His church would be built on the truth of WHO Jesus is.

part 2..God chose to reveal that through Peter. Yes, Peter's name does mean rock, but if you study the names in the bible, they usually mean something that has to do with their purpose or lot in life. The name Jesus means the Lord saves. This revelation was a solid rock of truth. JESUS is the rock, our foundation, the chief cornerstone, He is the one the church is built on, as revealed through Peter by the choosing of Father God in Heaven.

Part 3..Peter was just a vessel God used for this revelation to come forth. Besides, the church is not a building, it is constructed of ALL true believers in Jesus, all over the world. Salvation comes through Jesus Christ, not through an organization or building. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit no longer lives in a building, but is within us. Which also means we receive revelation from the Holy Spirit as we read the Word.

	Part 4...The bible says that the Holy Spirit will teach us and lead us in ALL things. There isn't one true church (organizationally speaking) other than those people in the body of Christ who are true believers and followers of Jesus Christ who have Jesus as their head (not the Pope).
