I Love A Catholic Guy

If your relationship requires one of you to switch religions it may not work. People have their beliefs and they should not be imposed upon. Although some people believe that they must save other people, there is also an important element of respect. Neither he nor you should presure the other to be someone who he or she may not be. It could work if you both respected each other and held that you both believe in Christ as the one and true savior. Catholics are actually Christians too. We have been babtized in the name of Jesus Christ, accepted him and praise him as our one and true Lord. I am not here to argue that point, I am just here to answer your question, so I will stop there. Hope that helps anyone who has found this question.

Denominations are MAN made. The church in the NT is designed, created, indwelled & sustained by Christ,wears His name,does His work in the worldseeking, teaching, & giving others the opportunity to be in obedience to Him. No Baptism Then No Heaven
	By denomination I'm a Baptist and I don't believe you have to be baptized to be saved. I base my belief on Acts 10:44-48. The Holy Ghost fell on Cornelius and all those that were in his household before they were baptized.

Divorced Over An Affair

I thank those of you who have shown me compassion and understanding. For the most part, i can actually feel the spirit in your replies. Unfortuately, I thought all christians on a christian web site who give advice would be Christian-like. There are so many people that have such wonderful advice backed up by scripture, but in the same sense there is drama and that disappoints me. FYI:I did ask for my ex-husbands forgiveness years ago and he gave it.

	I was under the impression that "keeping the Sabbath holy" was part of the rituals. Can a Christian be considered such if they do not recreate the Last Supper of Jesus in a Church setting?

You Must Be Decent Not Christian

I'm most grateful to all those who gave their unique opinions so freely, it was uplifting to know people do listen, I did have one problem however, trying to decipher the continual bickering, arrogance and disagreement. I favor the process of learning but not with vanity. My Catholic backround and beliefs are valid if I am true to them, just as are yours. Do we not learn each day we live, and is it more easily absorbed if given in love?
