Ok sorry this is really confusing. I have known my pastor for a lot of years and I have a lot of stuoid questions about God and stuff that i should have known and I put up the front of knowing. I know I should have just asked, but instead I made a fake email and emailed him afew times asking those questions. was that lying? Pretending I was someone else? |

Do you know what's weird? i wrote like a wicked long question and only the first bit got published. Anyway, what I meant was like what if you pick up like a gum wrapper from someone elses house and pocket it? Or like your friends packet of developed pictures gets delivered while you are their and you take one that is a totally ugly one of you? i mean are those stealing? or is it only stealing if you are like affecting them? |

Ok, i'm relatively sure about this. In December, there was a big Greek holiday that celebrated a greek god and involved lots of games and parties and most likely drinking too. SO when the Christians were converting Greeks, many Greeks were disappointed to see this holiday go, so the new Christians decided to celebrate the birth of Christ in December just because. Why not? |

In hypnosis there is no yielding yourself to anyone else. You are always in control. Imagine you have gone on a wilderness trip of some kind and you have a guide. The guide tells you where to go, what rock to step on as you are crossing a stream, where to camp. However, you can simply say no. You do not have to do what he instructs. That being said, there's nothing about hypnosis that goes against the bible. Hypnosis is simply a natural trance that we go into multiple times a day. We were designed to do it. I would encourage you to look up a man named Reverend C. Scot Giles. He has been a hypnotist for many years. You may not be of the same denomination, but I'm very sure he could help allay any of your fears about hypnosis. |

You don't! As long as we have a depraved nature, we will continue to sin. No where in Scripture does it say that the believer will live sin free. |

What If Big Bang Is True

I don't think that the "Big Bang" theory necessarily means that the universe is billions of years old, it only means that the universe emerged from a single point in space and that if the universe has expanded at the same rate for all time then it would have taken billions of years.
But the greater questions remain unanswered. Where is the universe? Where did the energy and matter come from? And, of course, the all important question: Why is the universe here, in existence? Science has not attempted these questions yet, at least most of them, and it is not likely that they will ever be answered by science. My faith is still intact. |
