The bible seems to teach that. My view is like Paul said, it is better to marry that to burn. If you do marry, do you think God would want you to get a divorce? I think not. God knows our needs and there may be consequences to remarrying but I have seen God bless a 2nd marriage that supposedly was not allowed and they spent 25 years on the mission field in Africa and have always been happy and focused on God. It is the ones who never experienced divorce who preach the adultry side.

It's like martial arts, rock and roll, and electricity, other things: People don't know anything about it, and get scared, so they label it a sin. If you put bad lyrics in rock and roll, it becomes bad. If you accept bad suggestions under hypnosis, it's bad. Neither are bad alone. Ask yourself what you actually know about something, then learn, before you declare anything about it, such as it being a sin.

Which Jesus Is Correct

Mormons teach that men may become Gods, if they do what God requires. The NT says that men can be "joint heirs with Christ". And what is Christ heir to? Obviously all things, since he is the Son of God. Is God all powerful or are there things that he can't do? Does God love or care about us or is he selfish? Would a righteous and loving God want to keep good and desirable traits and skills away from those he loves? Is God better or worse than an earthly father? What kind of earthly father wants his kids to be less capable and less perfect than he is? Isn't it blasphemous to assume that God can't or won't help men become as good and capable as He can help them to be?

I think it is interesting that we ignore half of the commandment. The commandment is 6 Days Thou Shalt Labor... Most of us don't need to be commanded to rest and maybe that is part of the reason we skip over the first part of the commandment. Now back to the topic, I think that the sabbath should be a day of the Lord and as much as is possible and reasonable, we should rest from wordly work and wordly cares, so we can think more upon the things of God.

You betcha he bowed, AND didn't seem to hesitate at all, AND didn't hold back. I'm surprised he could bow so deep without falling on his face. I too agree with others here, that if this were a showing of reciprical respect, that it would not be that big of a deal, but Obama happily practically prostrates himself before this Saudi King and smilingly goes on. Then rather than showing respect to us as American citizens, Obama does what he does best (or at least most), he flat out lies to all us Americans and says he did not bow. Go see for yourself on the internet. Obama is seriously messed up or has a anti-american agenda.

Is It A Sin To Be On Welfare

Many churches and christians need to change their ways. When I see crystal cathedrals and christians with fancy clothes, cars and houses, I don't see this as serving Christ, but "mammon". Too many seek the world's wealth, power and praise, when many in the world need a helping hand. I would like to call on church leaders and christians everywhere to reevaluate how their donation money is getting spent. I know we can do better. We need to do better. Christ cared so little for worldly things during his ministry and instead ministered to the needy (whether poor in spirit or in physical health). If we are blessed with wealth, we need to do good with it, not flaunt it.

	To answer the question, it depends on the situation. Definately not wrong to do so, yet in some cases it may not be appropiate.

Obama Is Bankrupting America

Our government is moving to socialism. Yes socialism does help some that cannot help themselves but more than that it creates a lazy environment where many just try to get a free ride. This country is bankrupt and heading for hyperinflation. The dollar will collapse shortly after that which I could see happening in the next couple years. In a way I see it as a blessing because it will drive many people to the Lord as they will have no where else to go. Materialism and our greed will be gone and we can turn to the One and only and get right with the Lord and take care of our families spiritual health.
