Explain Woman In Revelation 12

Larry, I agree that the bride is the church but I do not believe that the woman and the church are the same. The woman, who I believe is the Holy Spirit, gives birth to Jesus and then later She gives birth to the remnant or the bride. The church cannot give birth to itself. John 3 verse 5 tells us very clearly that unless a person is born of the water and the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. We have to be born of the Holy Spirit as was Jesus to enter the Kingdom. Rev. 12 verse 5 and 17 show us the birth of Jesus and the birth of the 144,000 who prepare the bride for the wedding feast.

Disciples Received The Holy Spirit

Bruce, the disciples received the Holy Spirit when Jesus breathed on them. The gospel of John was written by the apostle John as you know but do realize that John was an eyewitness for Jesus? He was with Him throughout his ministry and was taught by the Son of God and Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would bring all things to the disciples remembrance. John 14:26. Paul was not an eyewitness of Jesus. The apostles taught by Jesus left us no account re the Pentecost as recorded in Acts therefore I will take the word of the eyewitness that the Holy Spirit was given to them by Jesus on the first day of the week upon His resurrection.

Explain Woman In Revelation 12

The woman in Rev. 12 is the Holy Spirit. Please notice that this woman is in heaven. The church at this time in the scripture is not yet in heaven. The Holy Spirit is Jesus' mother. Matt: 1:20. Luke 1:35. Rev. 12:17 "And the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed" (those born of the Holy Spirit) John 3:5. Those born of the Holy Spirit are the brothers and sisters of Jesus. Rev. 14:6 "every nation, and kindred and tongue and people." Not Israel although every member of Israel will have the chance to accept or deny the testimony which God sent Jesus to give us.

Favorite Family Vacation
	It is hard to pin done one favorite vacation. Areas I have been to that have been fun are: Chimney Rock in Neb, Colorado Springs, Medora, ND, Washington state to climb Mt.Shuskan and see the ocean. I love any thing to do with nature and especially the Rocky Mts.

Why Does God Let Us Suffer
	Sorrow and suffering will continue until God sets up his kingdom on earth...but then: "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Rev. 21:4. Wow! Can you even imagine that God is going to wipe away all your tears? It will be worth it all!

Caught My Husband Cheating

I was in your shoe two years ago. If your husband shows he is sorry, I would give him another chance. I beleive in forgiveness but God does not want us to be doormats. I regret giving my husband another chance (after 3 affairs) because two years later, I still have alot of bitterness for allowing myself to let him in again. If it's his first time, it could be a mistake, but if it's been more than once, it could be selfishness and a character flaw which is hard to fix.

Can Christians Work In A Bar

I love Jesus Christ, he is my Lord and Savior. I am also a bartender. I have, and still continue to pray about it weekly. I work during the day two days a week. I share the Gospel and the love of Christ with everyone in some way. I have been able to witness and be a part of some awesome miracles. When asked for advice I only give biblical answers out of sincere love. I believe God will grow you where he plants you. I continue to pray daily that everything I say, think, and do will glorify God. Moderator - How many people go to a bartender for very spiritual advice? Probably not many.

Help With Husband's Anger

I never thought I would have been at the other end of my husbands fist...but I was. My children also witnessed it. A pastor told me that God does not want you to live in such pain and fear. You need to get out and away if he is still abusive. You would be surprised at how many agencies are out there that can help women in this situation. You need to regain control over your life and show him he no longer has control over you with fear that he puts in you.
