Aka: I am not silly.
I already apologized for my mistake. Why are you making a federal case out of this? |

Aka: I was not being argumentative, and did not deserve your insult. If I am mistaken about the history of this blog, I'm sorry. My memory isn't perfect.
I have been on the prayer blog, and have been praying for Trav's daughter and grandchild. Just because I haven't posted a reply yet doesn't make me ignorant. |

Prayer Requests May 2013
|
| |
Trav: I'll be in prayer for your daughter and granddaughter. I'll also pray for your son-in-law. He needs help. I hope your daughter is able to get help in healing from the psychological wounds that domestic violence victims suffer.
I grew up with my father beating up on my mother in drunken rages. My earliest childhood memories are very traumatic. Dad didn't stop drinking till I was 17. Mom never got the help she needed, and is now a bitter old woman.
It is good that your daughter can leave and protect her young child from that trauma. |

My new church's 175th anniversary celebration was such a blessing. The focus was the Gospel. Messages included the History of the Gospel at Perry Baptist Church, Gospel in the Old Testament, The Gospel in the New Testament, The Progress of the Gospel Around the World, The Person of the Gospel, and The Challenge of the Gospel in the 21st Century.
There was a video of various members of the church giving their testimonies, and one was my daughter. She talked about how I led her to Christ at the age of five. She also shared what God is doing in her life today. I am so proud of her walk with the Lord. |

I have a huge praise this weekend. When I moved to Michigan, I started attending the church my daughter, and her family attend. It's the church her husband grew up in. Well, this weekend, my new church is celebrating our 175th anniversary. When the church first began, the attendees would spend one weekend a month meeting together to praise and worship God. So, we had service last night, three meals and services today. Sunday, We'll have two more services, a picnic, and an 1860's style baseball game. |

Hi Karen. I am just ecstatic living near my daughter and grandchildren. I get to spend time with them a lot.
I'm still dealing with MRSA in my sinuses, which has me very sick all the time. But, God is faithful, and takes good care of me. |

Darlene: I understand the pain of physical therapy. I went through PT after I got rear ended in August.
Mary: Thank you, and everyone for your prayers. I'm still pretty sick with the MRSA in my sinuses. |

Francis, Scroll down to read the dictionary definition of the word 'pray.' One of the meanings is 'petition.' Petitioning is praying. |

I am so grateful for this past weekend. Seeing my family from Pennsylvania and New York, while celebrating my grandson's first birthday, was awesome.
My grandson got his first taste of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. He squished it with both hands, and tried to lick his fingers off, getting it all over his face, and into his hair and ears. He loved all the attention he was getting, and just kept smiling.
God is so good to me, I can't begin to express it. |

I just need to give the Lord praise. This weekend my granddaughter had her third dance recital last night. Today, we are celebrating her baby brother's first birthday. So, my son and daughter-in-law flew in from New York, and my sister flew in from Pennsylvania. I am so thrilled to live here, within walking distance of my daughter and her family. |

Mary, I'm sorry you're dealing with MRSA as well. I had never heard of having it in your sinuses till the doctor told me. I've had four sinus surgeries, the most recent was in June 2012. I'm sick again, and need to call the doctor.
I'm enjoying my home, and love my new church. I've applied for membership, so that I can serve in the nursery. So few women are willing to serve, and there are some months where my daughter is in there three times, between Sunday School and church. I come from churches where the older women served there so the young Moms could be fed. |

Hi Everyone, I took a break from posting for a lot of reasons, and decided I missed all of you, and will continue posting on the What's Up Blog.
I've been sick with chronic sinus infections, and my new ENT doctor took a biopsy of my infection. Turns out I have MRSA in my sinuses. Antibiotics don't work. So, he gave me instructions on how to cleanse my sinuses with a topical antibiotic for the nose.
I also need to see a specialist for a possible ulcer.
I recently had an iron infusion, so I'm hoping to get my strength back.
I have kept up with all of you, and prayed for you. |

Pope Facing Criminal Charges

Cluny: The specific example I mentioned is cited in the charges by one of the two agencies. I'm not going to research the specifics of the charges just because you are cynical. If you don't want to believe what I posted, don't. Won't change the fact that the charges were filed. |

MarkV: You really shouldn't assume what I feel or don't feel.
Any loss during war is tragic. However, when the U.S. went to war during the World Wars, there was a very real threat against us. We were attacked at Pearl Harbor, etc.
When 9/11 happened, I was all in favor of U.S. troops entering Afghanistan to hunt down Osama bin Laden, and the Taliban. That is where our military should have stayed focused, and done a complete job. Entering Iraq was based on lies told to Congress by Bush and Cheney. The emphasis should have stayed in Afghanistan, and NONE of our troops should have ever been in Iraq, to die or come home wounded. |
