Hard To Believe In God

If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful: He cannot deny Himself.
II Timothy 2:13

We all have are moments of weakness of faith, but it is than that we are reminded that although are faith often gets weak our Father is faithful to His promises, even when we doubt.

When the apostles ask Jesus to increase their faith, He answer a little faith is all we need, Luke 17:6. Jesus than goes on in the next 4 verses to tell us to do just as we are commanded, and remember we are unprofitable servants, Luke 17:7-10

Hard To Believe In God

Also to grow in faith one need to taste of the sincere Word and by doing so taste that the Lord is gracious, II Peter 2:2-3.

To overcome a stronghold think on good things, Philippians 4:8. And let the Holy Spirit renew your mind, Ephesians 4:23-24, Romans 12:1-2.

Romans 7:15-24 is something lousy to read if we stop there but when we read verse 25, we see that our hope is in Christ and allowing our minds to serve Him.

By recognizing that it is a strong hold in your mind let the Spirit to bring it into captivity to Christ, II Corinthians 10:3-5.

On your own it is impossible but with the Spirit help it can be done.

Who Wrote The New Testament

IMO Jesus did write the following the first time in the Pericope de Adultera, John 7:53-8:11.

O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake Thee shall be ashamed, and they shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the Fountain of Living Water.
Jeremiah 17:13
This is possibly what Jesus wrote in John 8:6
For Jesus refers to Himself and the Holy Spirit with a similar phrase in John 7:37-39 and was forsaken by thee leaders.

So that the 2nd time we see Jesus writing each person name. John 8:8

But other than that Jesus just spoke thee Words the NT writers confirmed them with their Books. Hebrews 2:3-4

God Say About Christmas

Most people believe that Jesus death happen at the age of 33 and half years, after which of course He rose from the dead to become our First-Fruit--the First Fruit of the Resurrection.

But if Jesus death happen when He was 33 and a half, He being killed on Passover which is midway thru the Jewish 1st month, will then He would have been born on the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles which is the 15th day of the 7th month, probably early October. Not late in December.

When we read John 1:14 the words dwell among us in the KJV, is often translated as tabernacled among us in other versions.

Why Did John Use Logos

This is just a major assumption but perhaps it might have something to do with the following verse:

I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy WORD above all thy Name.
Psalms 138:2

So that the Word Who became Jesus, is the One Whom the Trinity is Named after, see Ephesians 3:14-15

How Often Do You Sin

I find myself having to continued to learn from Paul's message in Romans chapter 7, were in verses 13-23, Paul tells how he can not find how to do the good that he would, but how to do the evil that he would not, he does all the time. But Paul gives all believers in Christ Jesus, the One Who is our only Hope:
24) O wretched man that i am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25) I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 7:24-25

This is why the Believers are told to renew their mind, over and over again in the Bible. Giving us His perfect peace, Isaiah 26:3

Lack Of A Healing

Actually to call Peter the Rock in Matthew 16:18, is to contradict all other scriptures on the subject.

We are told that God only is a Rock in II Samuel 22:32 and Psalms 18:31. When we read of David cry to be lead to the Rock in Psalms 61:2 it is plain to see that he is referring to Christ Jesus as his Rock.

In I Corinthians 10:4, Paul states that Christ is the Spiritual Rock, He is also the saints sole Foundation, I Corinthians 3:11.

Peter even calls Jesus the Rock in I Peter 2:8. While John calls Peter/Cephas a stone, John 1:42

Building Of The Ark

I wholeheartedly agree with Rita and James.

For we know that the ark took a long period to build, and while Noah was preparing it, he was preaching to the world, which shows us the longsuffering of God, spoken of in I Peter 3:20.

Does Jesus Recognize Church

Yes Jesus will recognize His Church. But according to Luke 18:8, it won't be that big. For Christ shall return looking for faith.

Not Saved Comment

Everyone loves to quote Ephesians 2:8-9, and while it is true we are not saved by our own works, verse 10 of Ephesians 2 states that we are ordained to walk with the Spirit's work in our life:
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10

I believe in OSAS, but before we announce that someone is saved we have to see what kind of ground the seed feel on, and what kind of fruit is produced in the person's life. For good ground produces Good fruit, Luke 8:15. But those on the 3 bad grounds have no hope, Hebrews 6:4-10, for they were never of Christ. I John 2:19

Ten Commandments Destroyed

Why of course all 10 are still in effect. For each commandment shows our love to God or others.

But the 4th Commandment no longer deals with a certain day but instead with the Finish Works of Christ Jesus, John 19:30. For by His offering we are perfected forever Hebrews 10:14.

For Jesus Himself commands us to take His Rest upon us in Matthew 11:28-30, for He is also the Lord of the Sabbath, Matthew 12:8. Paul said that the Sabbath was but a shadow of Christ, Colossian 2:16-17.

And lest we forget as God commanded us to keep the Sabbath in Genesis 2:3, so He tells us that we are to Rest in the Christ for this is how we enter into God's Rest by trusting in the finished work of Christ, Hebrews 4:9-10.

Begats In The Bible

To Begat is similar to creating after one own kind.
That is why it is always said that a man begat a son in the Bible.

The only verse that doesn't state this is Matthew 1:16b, concerning how Jesus was not begotten of Joseph, but make it clear that He was born of Mary. For as Jesus was God in Human Flesh, He was the Only Begotten Son of God. For only God the Son could be Begotten of the Heavenly Father. John 1 deals with how Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God.

Explain Isaiah 43:11

IMO it is the Word (Jesus) for this is the Same Person that speaks these words considering the Godhead/Trinity.

16) Come ye near unto Me, hear ye this, I have not spoken in secret from the beginning, from the time that it was, there Am I: and now the Lord GOD, and His Spirit, hath sent Me.
17) Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Isreal, I Am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
Isaiah 48:16-17
