"Here we just have to follow the law."

Whose law? God's or man's.

"So more money can be used by the church."

If you check out IRS Form 990 you'll find the true income and expense of your church (or any charity). Eighty percent of the money goes to upkeep of the building, salaries, etc.

"There are many denominations in the United States."

Satan has infiltrated and divided christiandom up into over 60,000 denominations each having their own ritulas, traditions, ways of living and interpretations of the bible. Is Christ divided?

I'm not against the "true" church which are the christians, but I'm against denominational churches, government organized churches. Churches who are forced by the government to keep their non-profit status.

I'm not against the assembly of christians for it is written that wherever two or more are gathered there is Jesus be it a park, a cafe, a home.

It is also written that we are to meet daily especially in today's world where it is almost impossible to keep the faith. Denominational christians meet once a week for an hour to learn about what? God? Sure, they have the knowledge of God, but deny his power.

The true church is NOT made with man's hands. That's including organized religion/churches and buildings. Organized religion/churches are nothing more than non-profit businesses who fill out man's tax forms and need to obey man's man's laws to keep its non-profit status. Church buildings, of course, are made with man's hands.

Satan has had over 2,000 years to infiltrate and divide christiandom up into over sixty thousand denominations each having their own rituals, traditions, ways of living, and interpretations of the bible. Is Christ divided?

Where a house is divided it will surely fall.

Just by the way the word "church" is used today shows that it's a building or a denomination: "I didn't see you in church this morning." "Our church has many great programs." " Our church added a new building." "Our church is better than the one down the street." etc. Christians bicker continuously about whose church is better - even among the same denomination.

The true church is NOT made with man's hands.

How Can I Believe In Jesus

Yone uses "belief" everday of their lives. One believes from the time they wake up to the time they hit the sack at night - and everything in between.

Your belief is strong and concerns the physical world. Your unbelief concerns the spiritual world.

Besides archeological findings that prove the events in the bible, there are two things that prove the existence of God: miracles and prophesy. Two prophesies are being fulfilled right this moment: the complete destruction of Damascus, the capital of Syria, and the dividing of Jerusalem. Keep watching these two events as they are being fulfilled.

Do Ghosts Exist

Jesus said unto the thief, "Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise..,"

How could Jesus be in "paradise" that same day when he was buried for three days? 1 Corinth 15:3-4, John 19:41-42, Act 2:31

Since Jesus did not go to paradise that same day neither did the thief. The thief had asked earlier, "Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom" (Luke 23:42).

Also, consider the punctuation. The original Greek does not include the comma before the word "today."

It's not a theory. It's written in the bible. Search for it like the Bereans to see if what I say is the truth.

Do Ghosts Exist

Every picture that was taken of ghosts wore clothes Everyone who has seen ghosts at a seance sees them wearing clothes. Do clothes become ghosts, too?

Law That Christ Fulfilled

"What law do you think Christ fulfilled?"

The ultimate law of "Love" (as in the verb form).

Why do christians make fulfilling the law complicated? True christians fulfill the law every day.

Believe In Death Penalty

First, the commandments is "thou shalt not murder" not "thou shalt not kill" as most christians believe. If this were the case, God would be against his own laws.

Second, Israel has the lowest crime rate in the world. Why? Because their laws haven't changed in thousands of years (until recently, that is). The people know the consequences of their actions even if one murdered someone while drunk.

In other countries especially the United States and in Europe, laws are changing all the time. Liberals feel sorry for the drunkard that murdered someone because he wasn't in his right mind and the death penalty is too harsh.

The English language has surpassed one million words a couple of years ago each having multiple definitions and many having opposite definitions than the original. Because of this the world now has multiple translations including concordances. This is Satan's way of confusing the people of today and, in turn, the great falling away from the faith.

As for the use of "church," most christians believe that the churches mentioned at the beginning of Revelation are denominations. They are NOT. The were simply 'locations' of a group of christians. If you asked me to visit a certain group of cristians, I would ask "where?"

Where Is Elijah And Enoch

Moses is dead.

God buried Moses in a secret place: Deuteronomy 34:5-6 (KJV) So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

Elijah is also dead. Moses and Elijah are dead awaiting to be resurrected at the last day. They will never die as all true christians are not dead, but asleep until the resurrection.

Do Ghosts Exist

Seances "prove" the existence of "ghosts" to the participants. A sly strategy of Satan to make people believe that their dearly departed are "ghosts" thus turning people away from the word of God.

God's word is NOT fluid.

Normal Christian Lifestyle

God judges the heart of each individual. This is how he is choosing each individual to populated the soon-to-come Kingdom of God. An individual person's lifestyle is based upon two ideas: one, a person does his own thing and, two, a person's lifestyle is based upon the bible.

There is to be two resurrections, though. The first is upon the second return of Jesus at the beginning of the thousand year reign when the dead in Christ shall rise and the living shall be caught up with the dead. The second is at the end of the thousand year when all the other dead shall be judged from the Book of Life - according to their works on earth.

Blessed are those that rise in the first resurrection.

You were asking if I gave any animosity toward anyone in particular - namly you.

Again, please quote three phrases of any strong hostility (animosity) I gave to you - or anyone for that matter in particular.

Cluny wrote: " Notice how Steveng attacks other professing Christians..."

I don't "attack" any christian in particular.

Besides, putting the word "church" in quotes differentiates between the true meaning of the word "church" and how it's used today. The word "church" in Jesus' time only meant the christians. Today it's a building or a denomination just by the way it's used: "I didn't see you in church today," "Our church has a great sound system," "Our church is better than..." Our denomination is better than..." "Our church has a great Easter (Christmas) program,"Our church..." Well, you get the main idea.

StrongAxe wote: "It's curious that Steveng posted this question 8 months ago, yet he has never once commented on it, nor answered any of the questions posed by others who answered him."

Many of you assume way too much. Plus, you judge me unrighteously without even knowing me. From the beginning of my posting, I have challenged everyone to know me personally or if they know of anyone in the Pasadena CA area, but, so far, no takers.

Two major reasons:

First: I'm not on these blogs on a daily basis like most you the people on these blogs. I do have a real life to live.

Second: This is not a debate. I just wonder what others think without my debating about it.

There's more, but these two suffice.
