Why Did You Become A Christian

There are people who were a good example of how I need to be, and the Bible helped me. I understood I needed to trust God Himself to know and decide all He desires with me. And God brought me to Jesus and had me trust in Christ.

Bound By Ten Commandments

I notice how ones keep calling attention to the Ten Commandments, but they do not give attention to our Two Love Commandments.

And in His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus starts right off with how to be >

"poor in spirit".

And then He says more about how to be >

merciful, meek, and pure in heart.

This is not what to do, but how in our character we need to become. I note how this does not get much attention.

Do Ghosts Exist

Jesus showed He is not a spirit. This can mean He was not one of Satan's spirits.

What ones call a ghost can be an evil spirit pretending to be a dead human.

A spirit of Satan can effect a human's personality, so when later the spirit appears it seems to be that human, since it shared its characteristics with the selfish human . . . possibly someone who was an idol for people, and so the people would be wishfully ready to suppose the spirit really is that human.

Women Christian Friendship

Hi, Christine (c: God bless you and welcome (c:

I would say we have a number of really Christian ladies, here. But you need to be able to tell the difference.

If you go into the pen pal/dating section, you can make a profile saying you are there for fellowship. But beware that ones are there to scam you. So, you need to be able to test prayerfully, about if and who and how you trust.

You can share, here in our blogs, and fellowship, here, without giving out too much personal information.

The Power Of The Law

The Law of Moses helps to expose sin . . . exposing what in me makes me able to sin.

And in the Law I see things which help to show me how God is and how He wants us to love.

For one example > Leviticus 19:18 < this is where our Second Love Commandment is, to love others as ourselves. And in this same verse it says not to hold grudges or seek revenge. So, loving others as myself includes being as willing for others to be forgiven, as I am willing to be forgiven, myself, I can see from this.

Why Easter And Christmas

Well, there are people who claim that December 25 is the birthday of a sun god, and Easter is a day of pagan something.

And ones say that Christians took over those days, in order to use them for celebrating Jesus Christ's birth and His resurrection. They believed it was good to re-invent those days, for God's purpose.

So, in case a pope is using these days, may be we could say he is not inventing, but reinventing??

However, plenty of Jesus Bible believers celebrate Christmas and Easter as holy days, not only for material and social reasons. We can make good use of what is used the wrong way.

Satan does not own any days.

1 Corinthians 3:21-23.

Arguing Rules in Marriage

"Do all things without complaining and disputing," (in Philippians 2:13-16)

"submitting to one another in the fear of God." (Ephesians 5:21)

"swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath" (in James 1:19-20)

"He who answers a matter before he hears it,
. It is folly and shame to him."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (Proverbs 18:13)

"Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them." (Colossians 3:19)

Ask her why she has done something (c: Be ready for a compassionate and caring answer, versus how I a guy might be mainly practical.

Normal Christian Lifestyle

ds, you said, "i must deny my own image. when i deny, i must die"

Every day, we need to die by stopping however we can be love-stupid in our own egos. And trust God to correct us so we are with Him in His peace and how He guides us and inspires and encourages us.

And learn how He has us loving. This, for me, includes how I need to first love and care about and pray God's blessing to people who are a problem for me > as soon as they come to mind, I need however God has me caring for them, instead of cursing them with my paranoid suspicion and criticism and looking down on them.

Even if someone is looking down on me, I need to not let that person get me to do the same thing by looking down on that person!! (c:

Ten Commandments Historical

Ones have talked about the Ten Commandments, but they do not give at least as much attention to our

Two Love Commandments,

which Jesus says are the greatest commandments. So, who has decided to call so much attention elsewhere?

Possibly, Jerry, nothing has really changed, but the public competing for attention has changed while the Love Commandment people have always been quietly and humbly . . . loving (c:

I Like A 16 Year Old Girl

So, if you know you shouldn't feel this way, trust this to God.

It is possible for a young girl to learn her manner from her mother who is mature. And so she can seem very mature (c: And if she's very nice looking, this can be very confusing if you are judging by appearance! (John 7:24)

She needs to mature, like you do (c:

And if you grow in God's love, you will enjoy discovering how God's love makes it easy for us to have self control with our extravagantly gorgeous and mature Christian sisters (c: And trust our Heavenly Father to join you with whomever He knows you belong with (c:

God bless you, Dalton (c:

How Did Life Begin

supernatural

And God's ways are "past finding out" (please consider Romans 11:33) > this is why scientists keep discovering how they can not figure things out. Because our Creator's ways are still working in His creation, including how our bodies function at such a high level (c:

How Does God Select

Dave, below you ask about Romans 2:5-7 > this scripture says that those who keep on doing what is good will get glory and honor and immortality. They will receive according to their works, this does say.

But it is God's grace working in these people to cause them to so continue in well-doing. So, it is not merit on their own part! (c:

Also > while we are doing works which God's grace has us doing, this grace is effecting our nature to make us more and more how God's love is . . . so we are ready for Jesus > 1 John 4:17.

How Does God Select

"Unmerited", for some people, means Jesus died for us while we were His enemies . . . not at all deserving of Him. So, there is no way we could get ourselves to do what makes us deserving of salvation through Jesus.

My take is, our Apostle Paul says "we all" were "children of wrath", in Ephesians 2:3. If this means "all" have been equal by "all" being "children of wrath", then no one has been somehow superior to others so that that one could do what makes him or her deserving of salvation.

And so, the thanks and credit and glory are purely to God > Romans 6:17.

How Does God Select

God is past finding out. His overall objective is to have many children who are like His Son Jesus > Romans 8:29.

There are people who believe that saying means many are called to ministry but not all will obey. And so, they feel it does not contradict free will.

In any case, I believe God is first about how much He enjoys His Son Jesus, and so He desires to have many like Jesus. So, we love Him by seeking how He changes us to become and love like Jesus (c:

Force Us To Be Saved

Evil does exist, no matter what anyone may say or argue about it. And I believe and experience we have God who is so good and better and superior to evil.

And I think it is a good question about
why > God < does not persuade everyone to choose His way. God's way includes >

Colossians 3:15 > always to submit to how our Heavenly Father rules us in His own peace, in our hearts.

Ephesians 5:2 > to walk in love like Jesus has loved us and gave Himself as a "sweet-smelling aroma" > being so sweetly pleasing to our Father, even while so suffering on Calvary > being sweetly pleasing in all circumstances would be included in living and loving in God's way (c:

Have we in free will been choosing this?
