Where Is Elijah And Enoch

God buried Moses in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-peor, but to this day no one knows where his grave is. Moses was 120 years old when he died, but his eyesight hadnt failed and his strength hadnt diminished. Deuteronomy 34

If Moses, Enoch and Elijah are in heaven why not all the other godly people?

There are two resurrections: the first when Jesus returns when the dead in Christ shall rise and the living shall be caught up with the dead.

The second at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ when ALL THE OTHER DEAD shall rise and be judged from the book of life according to what they did on earth.

How Does God Select

Christ comes after the tribulation, at the beginning of the thousand year reign. Christian must endure unto the end. Christians will be persecuted, killed and jailed. The mark of the beast will be issued during the tribulation and many christian will take it not knowing it is the mark of the beast.

Where Is Elijah And Enoch

Mary said to Jesus saying "I will see him [her brother] at the resurrection." Jesus left for heaven, while Mary was still on Earth. No one is in heaven yet as Jesus will prepare a place for christians.

Jesus will come again in great glory, with the sound of trumpets. The dead in Christ shall rise first and the living shall be caught up with the dead. This is the first resurrection.

The second resurrection is at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ when all the other dead shall rise and be judged from the book of life according to their works.

Blessed are those that rise in the first resurrection.

Lack Of A Healing

NurseRobert wrote: "Sometime, God says no."

And WHATEVER you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith and doubt not.

And what about: ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you.

And what about: WHATEVER you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

And what about: If you abide in Jesus, and his words abide in you, ask WHATEVER you wish, and it will be done for you.

God NEVER says "no" to the one who believes. You, NurseRobert, may have the knowledge of God, but deny his power.

Lack Of A Healing

ALL prayers are answered.

If you believe otherwise then you are calling God a liar.

Christians make all kinds of excuses because a prayer was not answered (e.g. "It wasn't in the will of God") It is written that all prayers are answered when it comes from the hearth without doubting.

Everything is doable, but not everything is profitable.

StrongAxe wrote: "...yet you and other SDAs keep arguing the point that they should keep Saturday as more holy."

Are you in the habit of speaking / writing lies? I keep on repeating that I, and others like me, do NOT belong to any worldly denominational "church." Just because I believe The Sabbath is, was, and is forever, doesn't mean I belong to any man-made denominational "church." I, and others like me, just believe in the words of God from the heart - not a member of some denominational "church."

Spirit Goes To Heaven

At the second coming of Christ it is expressly written that the dead in Christ shall rise first and the living shall be caught up with them.

Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

How Does God Select

David wrote: "...what criteria does God use to make his selection?"

LOVE - true love - as in the verb form.

There are two resurrections: the first is when Jesus returns and the dead in Christ shall rise first and the living shall be caught up with the dead.

The second is at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ when all the other dead shall rise and be judged from the book of life according to their works. There are many adults who do the will of God not knowing they are doing the will of God and there are children who have no concept of sin, repentance, Jesus, God, etc.

Where Is Elijah And Enoch

Elijah and Enoch are dead.

Jesus said no one has gone to heaven. If this wasn't true he wouldn't have said this.

The phrases translated or taken away come from the Greek word metatithemi, which means to transfer to another place.

The bible states: that all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. Enoch is dead and buried and waiting for the resurrection.

Elijah did not die at that time he went up by a whirlwind into heaven. Which heaven, there are three heavens mentioned in the bible. Proof that Elijah was not dead and still on earth was when he wrote a letter many years later. See 2 Chronicles 21:12-15.

There are "sabbaths" and there is "the sabbath."

Something to think about:

Why would God establish the sabbath, take it away, and then reestablish it when Christ returns? Aren't God's laws eternal? Isn't the sabbath mentioned in ten commandments in which Jesus and the apostles taught?

StrongAxe wrote: "Such superficial differences don't matter in the long run..."

Those "superficial differences" didn't help Adam and Eve.

StrongAxe wrote: "or use such superficial differences as an excuse to break fellowship with other believers, as you apparently do."

What, pray tell, makes you believe I don't have fellowship with other christians?

Lack Of A Healing

Yes, God can test our faith, but he will always answer our prayers for it is expressly written that he will answer ALL our prayers in Jesus' name and without doubting - even to ask the mountain to 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

Denominational "churches" teach their members to doubt by using such excuses as "it wasn't in God's will," etc.

Spirit Goes To Heaven

At his second coming, Jesus returns to earth, will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

We are not "dead" as man thinks of death, but we are asleep. When Jesus returns he will call his own and the true christians will hear his voice - and awake us out of our sleep as he did with Lazarus.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Ephesians 5:14

StrongAxe wrote: "... you keep condemning any who choose to share certain practices ?"

The members of a denominational "church" are bonded to the church's doctrine. They sit in pews for an hour listening to the preacher preach. They go to "church," perform their rituals, and leave to go home. You have several dozen people who don't know each other.

On the other hand, when two or more are gathered on a daily basis (and it may not be the same person or group of persons) according to the bible, we talk about our daily successes and failures on a personal level - one on one. We are accountable for one another. We pray with each other. Christians fellowship is important on a personal level.

There are two resurrections.

The first is at the soon-to-come second coming of Christ when all the DEAD in Christ shall rise first and the living shall be caught up with the dead. This is at the beginning of Christ's thousand year reign.

The second is at the end of the thousand year reign when all the other dead shall rise and be judged from the book of life - according to their works. Blessed are those that rise at the first resurrection.

As for the death of the soul it is written that we are not to be afraid of man for he can only destroy the body, but be afraid of God for he can destroy the body AND the soul.

Lack Of A Healing

"Your faith has healed you."

God's will has nothing to do with healing or any other miracles. Using the phrase "God's will" is just an excuse "christians" use who think that a miracle or healing didn't work because it wasn't God's will.

ANY christian can perform miracles or healing to another person who has faith (without doubting). Christians have the ability to perform miracles and healings greater than Jesus, he said so himself. Ask God the Father for ANYTHING in Jesus' name and it shall be done.

For those of you who doubt what I just wrote is weak in the faith and doubt what Jesus said.

Luke wrote: "...[Steveng]... looking for faults in any church other then your own."

Christians ARE the church, not a denomination or a building. Read what Jesus said to the GROUPS of christians (not denominations) Revelation 1-3.

Luke wrote: "You seem to believe that your way is the only way Christians should gather."

There is only ONE way - the way the words of God says, "WHEREVER two or more are gathered..."

Luke wrote: "...you taught at some of the churches you now judge."

I was approached by churches to teach. God had a purpose for me to go to certain churches, so I did - and the deeds were done. Didn't Jesus teach at the temples he condemned?

Stop Smoking Cigs

Name calling, politics and racism - oh my!

Wow, the subject of healing a cigarette problem has really gotten off base. And you call yourselves "christians."

You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Shouldn't we pray for his healing?

Josh, your faith has healed you if you ask God to stop smoking - without doubting.

How To Give A Tithe

Don't depend upon your denominational "churches" annual report or financial statements.

They are only created to appease the IRS for tax purposes. If you truly want to know the true wealth of your denominational "church" read IRS Form 990. It details income (including the names of large donors), expenses, the value and maintenance of assets.

I, with other investigative reporters, had a goal of finding the true wealth of the RCC. We didn't complete the investigation, but what we did find was that the RCC was worth more than seventeen trillion dollars (in real and paper assets) and spent over eighty percent of the income to maintain these assets. Their annual income was eighty five billion dollars.
