God's word is NOT fluid.

God judges the heart of each individual. This is how he is choosing each individual to populated the soon-to-come Kingdom of God. An individual person's lifestyle is based upon two ideas: one, a person does his own thing and, two, a person's lifestyle is based upon the bible.

There is to be two resurrections, though. The first is upon the second return of Jesus at the beginning of the thousand year reign when the dead in Christ shall rise and the living shall be caught up with the dead. The second is at the end of the thousand year when all the other dead shall be judged from the Book of Life - according to their works on earth.

Blessed are those that rise in the first resurrection.

You were asking if I gave any animosity toward anyone in particular - namly you.

Again, please quote three phrases of any strong hostility (animosity) I gave to you - or anyone for that matter in particular.

I don't "attack" any christian in particular.

Besides, putting the word "church" in quotes differentiates between the true meaning of the word "church" and how it's used today. The word "church" in Jesus' time only meant the christians. Today it's a building or a denomination just by the way it's used: "I didn't see you in church today," "Our church has a great sound system," "Our church is better than..." Our denomination is better than..." "Our church has a great Easter (Christmas) program,"Our church..." Well, you get the main idea.

StrongAxe wote: "It's curious that Steveng posted this question 8 months ago, yet he has never once commented on it, nor answered any of the questions posed by others who answered him."

Many of you assume way too much. Plus, you judge me unrighteously without even knowing me. From the beginning of my posting, I have challenged everyone to know me personally or if they know of anyone in the Pasadena CA area, but, so far, no takers.

Two major reasons:

First: I'm not on these blogs on a daily basis like most you the people on these blogs. I do have a real life to live.

Second: This is not a debate. I just wonder what others think without my debating about it.

There's more, but these two suffice.

Where Is Elijah And Enoch

micha9344 wrote: "I choose to believe the Bible ..."

Jesus himself said: "No man hath ascended up to heaven." So Enoch could not have gone to heaven or Jesus is a liar.

Re-read Hebrews 11:5 very slowly and read the "past tense" words of the verse. If Enoch is in heaven now he would still be pleasing God.

Read about christians being "translated" Colossians 1:13

What does the word "translate" mean? To move from one place or condition to another, carry over, transport. "Translate" does not mean to make immortal.

God removed (translated) Enoch so that he was not found. God took Enoch and buried him! The same God did with Moses. Deuteronomy 34:6

Where Is Elijah And Enoch

Oh, and one more note concerning "all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:"

If one uses the bible as its own reference, one would find "all the days of" used in several other places meaning how old the person was before their death. Read:

Genesis 5-31,
Genesis 9:29,
Deuteronomy 4:9,
Deuteronomy 16:3
Joshua 24:31,
1 Samuel 1:11,
1 Samuel 7:13,
1 Kings 4:21
Psalm 23:6,
Proverbs 31:12,
Ecclesiastes 5:18,
Isaiah 38:20,
Jeremiah 52:33,
Luke 1:75,

When it is written that Enoch shall not see death is the same as all true christians will not see death.

Ten Commandments Historical

Cluny wrote: "Since simple fornication or intimate acts between two men or two women are not mentioned in any giving of the Decalogue, are they likewise forbidden?

If so, why?"

Because the acts are not natural. Every orifice of the body has a certain function as God made us. People shouldn't use every orifice of the body for sexual pleasure.

Where Is Elijah And Enoch

micha9344, you are calling Jesus a liar when he said no one has ascended into heaven.

Besides, all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: and Enoch walked with God and he was not for God took him just like he takes all the godly people.

Be careful HOW you read the bible. In today's world, people are trained to be more technical, more specific. This is the trouble when reading the bible. The entire bible is written with metaphors and similes and parables which teach us things spiritual using worldly knowledge.

Ten Commandments Historical

The law was not only for the jews. The law was before israel became a people. The law was, is and ever shall be without end. The law was from the beginning and will continue in the thousand year reign of Christ. The sabbath, for instance, was established on the seventh day of creation, God sanctified it, and told Moses to have his people "remember" it.

God chose the jewish people to bring God's word to the world. They failed thinking it was only for them.

Ten Commandments Historical

If you love God then keep his commandments.

Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

Jesus did not come to abolish the Law.

Jesus said, But why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and not do the things which I say?

What changed? The love of many waxed cold. Love has practically evaporated from the face of the world.

Where Is Elijah And Enoch

God buried Moses in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-peor, but to this day no one knows where his grave is. Moses was 120 years old when he died, but his eyesight hadnt failed and his strength hadnt diminished. Deuteronomy 34

If Moses, Enoch and Elijah are in heaven why not all the other godly people?

There are two resurrections: the first when Jesus returns when the dead in Christ shall rise and the living shall be caught up with the dead.

The second at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ when ALL THE OTHER DEAD shall rise and be judged from the book of life according to what they did on earth.

How Does God Select

Christ comes after the tribulation, at the beginning of the thousand year reign. Christian must endure unto the end. Christians will be persecuted, killed and jailed. The mark of the beast will be issued during the tribulation and many christian will take it not knowing it is the mark of the beast.

Where Is Elijah And Enoch

Mary said to Jesus saying "I will see him [her brother] at the resurrection." Jesus left for heaven, while Mary was still on Earth. No one is in heaven yet as Jesus will prepare a place for christians.

Jesus will come again in great glory, with the sound of trumpets. The dead in Christ shall rise first and the living shall be caught up with the dead. This is the first resurrection.

The second resurrection is at the end of the thousand year reign of Christ when all the other dead shall rise and be judged from the book of life according to their works.

Blessed are those that rise in the first resurrection.

Lack Of A Healing

NurseRobert wrote: "Sometime, God says no."

And WHATEVER you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith and doubt not.

And what about: ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you.

And what about: WHATEVER you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

And what about: If you abide in Jesus, and his words abide in you, ask WHATEVER you wish, and it will be done for you.

God NEVER says "no" to the one who believes. You, NurseRobert, may have the knowledge of God, but deny his power.

Lack Of A Healing

ALL prayers are answered.

If you believe otherwise then you are calling God a liar.

Christians make all kinds of excuses because a prayer was not answered (e.g. "It wasn't in the will of God") It is written that all prayers are answered when it comes from the hearth without doubting.

Are Churches Politically Corrrectc

StrongAxe wrote: "Nobody has yet answered why they keep harping on this subject despite "let each be persuaded in his own mind". Why do you keep trying to change the persuasion of those who are already persuaded in their own minds?"

Everything is doable, but not everything is profitable.

Are Churches Politically Corrrectc

StrongAxe wrote: "...yet you and other SDAs keep arguing the point that they should keep Saturday as more holy."

Are you in the habit of speaking / writing lies? I keep on repeating that I, and others like me, do NOT belong to any worldly denominational "church." Just because I believe The Sabbath is, was, and is forever, doesn't mean I belong to any man-made denominational "church." I, and others like me, just believe in the words of God from the heart - not a member of some denominational "church."

Spirit Goes To Heaven

At the second coming of Christ it is expressly written that the dead in Christ shall rise first and the living shall be caught up with them.

Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
