Are you in the Grace of God? Can you remember a specific point in time that you became a Christian? How long ago was that? Even as a Christian, it is not unusual to wonder if one is really saved espicially for a new Christian.

ABSOLUTELY, But don't worry about it. Pray about it, because it is not where you want to be.

I don't understand your question. You are the grace of God. Look at what He has given you. Do you go hungry? Do you live in a house? Do you have loving family? Do you love God? Do you have clothes to wear? If yes, then God is showing his loving grace to you.

If no fruit is persent, then no faith is present. Finally, we seek our assurance from the Word of God through which the Holy Spirit bears witness to our spirit that we are His children. Brother Floyt, I am thankful to help in some way in your walk with Christ. May God keep revealing His word to you always.

The test for authentic assurance is twofold. We must examine our own hearts to see if we have true faith in Christ. we must see whether or not we have any genuine love for the biblical Christ. for we know such love for Him would be impossilbe without generation. second, we must examine the fruits of our faith. we do not need to be perfect fruit to have assurance, but there must be some evidence of the fruit of obedience for our profession of faith to be credible.

Their assurance is a false one. Now you might ask, how is it possible to have a false assurance? The easiest way to have a false assurance of salvation is to have a false doctrine of salvation. example, universalist view, "every person is saved, I am a person, therefore, I am saved." another one is working to learn your salvation, which some religions believe. But as we know we are saved by God's grace only and not by anything we do or will do.

This is the group who are certain of their election and calling. They have a clear and sound understanding of what salvation requires and know they have met the requirements. They have believed the testimony of the Holy Spirit when He witnessed to their spirits that they are the children of God. Romans 8:16. Now for the fourth group. There are people who are not saved but confidently believe that they are saved. This people have assurance without salvation.

I will put four positions down. there are people who are unsaved and know that they are unsaved. second, there are people who are saved but do not know they are saved. This people are actually in a state of grace but are uncertain of it. Perhaps they are wrestling with sin in their lives and doubt their own salvation because of a troubled conscience. In this group are those wo have not yet made certain that they are among the elect. Third, there are people who are saved and know that they are saved.

Floyd, I will explain something that I understand in this subject. It is our duty to seek assurance of our salvation with diligence. This is not done out of curiosity about the state of our soul, but to inhance our growth in sanctification. Christians who remain uncertain about the state of their salvation are subject to all sorts of questions that really paralyze their walk with Christ. They stumble in doubt and are vulnerable to the assaults of Satan. So we must seek to be assured of our salvation.

Are you recieving blessings from God? well grace is simply God's unmerited favor. He blesses us because he loves us, not because we deserve it.

If you are thinking about Grace, then you are in His grace for sure. But if you are in doubt, it is evident that you are in it and satan is mad and attacking your faith in God and His Grace. My advise is to learn to know Jesus better by reading the Bible talking to Him, think about His love. make no room for satan & his lies to enter your thoughts. Because that is the only job satan has to do-to make you believe in His lies about God.

If you have the Spirit of Christ and are living in the Spirit, you are in grace. But if you do not have the Spirit of Christ and are living in sin, then you are not in grace. If you are suffering persecution because you are a Christian, that's a sure sign of the mark of God that you are in his grace.

I struggle with doubt. This is probably the central issue in my life. One thing that helps me, is to realize that faith is a gift from God; even the faith to be saved is a gift. And, faith comes by hearing the Word of God. So, Bible study and fellowship also help my unbelief by building my faith. You're heart is tender enough, to truthfully examine yourself! And, the Spirit of Truth is from God. God's grace is sufficient. Amen!

God wants all of us to accept his free gift. and the devil tries to get us to ignore it, or doubt it. if you have accepted Jesus as lord and savior, you are going to heaven.

Of course it is "normal" anyone who says they havent doubted grace or salvation or the existence of God is decieved! The enemy always wants us to doubt the grace of God and His ability to save us.That is where faith comes in, and where grace abounds! Why would God give us grace if we didnt need it? My biggest problem is that grace is just so simple a solution, salvation so free a gift. Seems like I should have to earn it, or so the enemy would like me to believe. God is not afraid of our doubt! neither should you be! Study the Word and the Truth will set you free even from doubt!

Floyd, If you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and that He died for ALL your sins, and that God the Father raised Him from the dead, and you accept this for yourself personally, then YOU ARE IN THE GRACE OF GOD. Accept this once and for all, and never doubt again. God bless you abundantly. Go in peace.
