Well, I think he is back.
---catherine on 3/3/08

Nana ... actually, you do not need a valid CN account to post on the blogs
Anyone can do that, and use any name, or indeed any number of names. But why would anyone want to do that?
Probably to artificially boost the apparent support for theri own view, or to increase apparent condemnation of another individual./
I wonder why Bob, Cindy, and the otherw who have dropped ot, know so much about it?
---alan_of_UK on 3/3/08

BOB::I agree with you whole heartedly .NOW which category do you fit into.with this boxed dilemma both will set you at odds.R U waiting for more fish to bite?
---Emcee on 3/3/08

You are free to reveal the "names", just as much as you are
free to insinuate. "No. I didn't think so, Nana" means what
to me? You would not be insinuating that I am also a name
in the trunk, now are you?
When another "Nana" posted contrary to what I believe, I
signed "NanaH". That was until I realized that even though
to post, a valid CN account is required, CN do not restrict
the signature. So I went back to being Nana.
---Nana on 3/1/08

That aside I pretty much blog from the same computer at
night. There are two others, home and my day job, from
which these two I hardly ever blog.
---Nana on 3/1/08

You wouldn't want me to reveal the names that are stuck in the trunk, would you?
No. I didn't think so, Nana.
---Bob on 2/29/08

I tought once that perhaps Bob worked at CN.
Got that idea from "Should Christians Be Perfect" blog.
We only see the names people sign their blogs with,
but the staff at CN knows also the computer or
account from where each blog originates.

Bob/Cindy ... Why don't you make an honest accusation, and say who you think is indulging in multiple personalities, and who all these personalities are
Cindy has accused me of this, and says I am MikeM & am not even male. Who else am I, Cindy/Bob?
---alan_of_UK on 2/28/08

They're all in a trunk, some are collecting dust, others are quite polished.
I'm not into make believe.
There is a difference between childish and childlike.
---Bob on 2/28/08

RitaH A month ago, there was a whole group of people here accusing others of adopting multiple personalities, and trying to intimidate people from postimng personal problems.
AS for Herb, I think he has gort fed up with all the bickering and withdrawn a bit. Yes he is certainly a KJV man, through & through!
That group suddenly dwindled to just Cindy ... and then Bob turned up with the same accusations.

Maybe like Pontius Pilate he has washed his hands of this motley crowd and moved on to greener pastures.Bob how can you come up with such a solution The disappearance of RevHerb, oops it was Greta?

"Yes, some of them have had as many as 10 or 20 deaths in a few months's time." Where do some of you get this information from, I think that most of it is in your imagination. Rev Herb hasn't been around much since I joined but I've looked up some of his old blogs (via google) and he sounds rather unique, a KJV only guy. I don't think he'd find it easy to take on another persona. How can we be sure that YOU Bob are not 20 different people? Perhaps some are more skilled at it than others.
---RitaH on 2/27/08

Seriously ill and deceased, that is the common theme for the names stuck in the trunk.
Yes, some of them have had as many as 10 or 20 deaths in a few months's time.
But you know what, they all spring back to life, on cue, when the Director calls on their name.
---Bob on 2/27/08

When someone seems to vanish from this website it could be that he/she is seriously ill or deceased. If it's the former we might know eventually, if the latter we won't unless someone else can inform us.
---RitaH on 2/27/08

Rev Herb, some referred to him as the Rebel Herb, and the Rev Herb's son, are currently stuck in a trunk. The kind of trunk that's stored under the bed.
When the Director has a new script or part that's perfect for them, they'll be pulled back out of the trunk. Not too worry, they all come back.

Strange it should come up in the middle of lent again .I wonder why? but I have to stick to the truth.
---Emcee on 2/25/08

Pray for Him. God knows him and where he is and what he is going through. Jesus went into the desert and returned with great Power.....
---Jan on 2/25/08

Rev. Herb is so grounded in the faith and the correct doctrine, I am afraid he may have gotten enough insults. I sure hope he isn't sick.
---shira_5965 on 7/18/07

Maybe Rev Herb has given up posting for Lent.He is so Bashful!!!No pun intended.

Have you noticed the date of this Blog? It is not last year, but the year before that! And Rev Herb has been around since then!
---Helen_5378 on 3/7/07

I was going to ask the same thing. I was thinking about him only yesterday and wondered whether he didn't know how to get to the questions now or whether he didn't like the new set up but I think he would have said so if the latter were the case. So many familiar names are missing, it's so sad. I also miss Crystal and Suzie Q but she's been gone for quite a while now.
---F.F. on 3/7/07

Herb should come back.

We all have slightly different views ... sometimes very different.

That's what makes this work. No point if we all agreed.
---Alan_of_U.K. on 5/14/05

I miss Bro.Herb too,he kept me looking up verses in the Bible.I believe Bro.Herb's candor at times provoked such responses,he opened the door to what happened.I didn't agree with the harshness of some of the answers.Even though we agree on little I like him and wish he would come back.I also wish wisdom and love would be given with answers ,from all sides.

Rev Herb, maybe he is going through a phase where the Holy Spirit is guiding him to the true gospel.
---Megg on 5/11/05

Albert It was on the old forum and it was not you. Water under the bridge. I can never remember you ever attacking anyone.

Names would serve no real purpose.

Some took Herbs complete cantor and direct style as a threat. Herb has an evangelist style of getting the message out. He is sincere and blunt.
---Elder on 5/11/05

Elder, would you please tell us which question it was for which Herb was attacked "mercilessly"?

I for one choose to address the issue and don't care who had posted the question although, if recurrence of illogical attacks come from the same person, I may be a bit "tougher" in my reply.
---Albert on 5/11/05

Dear Herb Friends,
Let me tell you a little something about "Herb abuse." Herb posted a question on the old forum and was attacked unmerciful. He asked the same question under another name and was treated quite kind.

I will promise to contact Herb and tell him of the forum family wanting him back as I do too.

Rev. Herb is a voice crying out in the wilderness, he's like a salmon swimming upstream against a strong religious current. Rev. Herb reminds me a lot of another sober-minded straight-shooter, the late Dr. J. Vernon McGhee.

Come back Rev. Herb. We need to hear your plain & simple, no nonsense exhortations!
