There is a strange but easy therapy that might/or might not help.Look up EFT on a search engine. If it works, you can use it every 2 hours (or more or less, whichever is needed) and if it does work it's a whole lot better than popping pills.I've used the therapy for 2/or more years on myself and others,&sometimes I use it along with pills.I've also prayed for you.God bless!

Elsie, thanks for your common sense advice.

I know several men with fibromyalgia, and they must take morphine and other strong meds to manage their pain. But it's also carefully monitored to minimize the danger of addiction.

Drugs could well be God's provision for you.

Mary you are in my prayers regarding your pain and medication. If you are not already on drugs all the time and can cope at all by taking less (or certainly no more than you take now) it might prevent you getting addicted to them. Once addicted you could find you'll need more and more. Many of us are praying for you. Let us know how you cope please.

Mary, I sympathize with you. My wife got addicted to pain medicine and nerve medicine and she spent the last year of her life sleeping about eighteen hours a day. The quality of our relationship suffered, but I contined to wait upon her every need. She finally succumbed to her ailments and died in my arms.

Dear Mary: Oh, how I hear your cry for help! I join my fellow Bloggers and pray for you. In addition, be sure you have a pain management doctor. If your drugs are managed correctly, they will only cover the pain and not make you addicted. Please ask Jesus to bless your medication each time you take it. His blood covers any addiction and pain. Meanwhile let God use your suffering to help others.

Mary, you need a pain management clinic and prayers of believers. I will pray for you.

Not sure what your question is but it is in order to take prescribed drugs to rid yourself of pain.

In the meantime, I pray for you and ask others to do the same.

(Pt 1)
God uses doctors too! Modern medicine can be described as nothing short of a miracle. I'd follow the doctor's advice (& cover the medication with prayer so that it won't cause any negative effect in my body). I would also immerse myself in reading and studying everything the Bible says about healing. (Read Christian books, listen to teaching tapes about healing, read the Word, pray the Word, study all the healing scriptures.) The Bible says that the Word works like medicine.

(Pt 2)
Proverbs 4:20-22 -- "MY son, pay attention to what I say (give your attention to the Word); listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, (read it!) keep them within your heart (hear and see the Word to get it in your heart); for they are life* to those who find them and health to a man's whole body." (*life = health & healing according to the Amplified Bible, the Hebrew word here literally means medicine.) There is healing in the Word!
