The Thought Of Cloning Scares Me

Cloning has scared us. We thought scientists would succeed to clone a human being only possible from baby to adulthood. But Eve was created out of the Adam's ribbone. Could this be 'cloning', a human even of an opposite sex? What a powerful God? How would humans ever dream to achieving that?

God makes clones all the time.

They're called identical twins!

It's done by splitting an embryo before the cells start to differentiate (into bone cells, brain cells, etc.). So technically, that's not a difficult thing for humans to emulate.

(Or is it 'technologically'? LOL)

You write:"Cloning has scared US." Are you talking about you and your family? I have not been scared by it yet. I am not in favor of it happening with humans but for animals?!? I don't think God the Creator is going to let subs to his job!

There are too many people in this world trying to play God. What scares me is the fact that they are playing God and God is going to deal with each one of them. this world is getting uglier and uglier everyday. These people better watch, this plan they have will back fire on them, they will reap what they sow.

On this matter I am going to recommend a book to you. A Brave New World by Adolf Huxley. Some of the content is of a sexual nature, so you might want to bypass some parts, but watch the news about embryos and stem cells and read this book, and see if we are not heading in a scary direction. After you read it, try to get every one you know to do the same, so that the truth of where this research will lead us is exposed before it is to late.

NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!
As of new this week (May 16-20, 2005) we are now able to CLONE HUMAN EMBRYOS. It's all related to stem cell research, but even the newscaster brought up concerns that it could very easily be misused to create people to full growth. Perhaps, if there is DNA of Christ somewhere this is how an anti-christ could be made... to look like him, to act like him, to do miracles like he could do... but it would not honestly be him who returns from heaven?

The spirit behind cloning is satan and we know he has always wanted to be God. But we know he is a defeated foe.
God is the creator. satan can only counterfit. satan will recieve his just reward. Don't live in fear. Look up for our redemption draws near dear one.

I think these 'clones' would be more like robots.
Even if they ever succeed in cloning, where would the soul and spirit come from--THOSE cannot be duplicated!

I am not afraid of anything science does. Remember, whenever people got too full of themselves in the Bible, God showed up to make sure they knew who is really in charge. I think the more "advanced" we become, brings us that much closer to the day when Jesus returns.

God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

I think that we should do everything to help people who need it. Help, not hurt.

I disapprove of anyone even trying to clone anything. We meddle far too much nowadays. However I'm sure we need not fear that scientists will ever manage what God did. He made Adam from the dust of the ground.

Dear Pek: Scientists will NEVER be able to reproduce the entire human DNA-RNA structure which lies within the original sperm and egg. We may be able to do a certain amount of genetic engineering but God's original creation (Adam and Eve) will never be duplicated. Some scientists like to think they can create the spark of life but they aren't even close. Our God will never give up His original recipe until we get to heaven. Rest easy, my friend!
