Linda, from what the scriptures tell us, the only one who will enter the kingdom of heaven will be the one who has accepted Christ as his savior. The others will go to hell.

God will judge each one according to their knowledge and what they did with His Son. If someone has NEVER heard of Jesus they cannot accept Him, that is why we should be telling others. The bible states that man is without excuse though, because God reveals himself through nature. Anyone who does not believe in God (an atheist for example) is totally lost.

Daniel, we most certainly can know who is saved and who is not saved. i know who my brothers and sisters are distinguished from strangers.

Ultimately, that's up to God; what does 'ran away' mean? Jonah the prophet ran away too, is he going to hell?! God asks us to witness of Him to everyone, because none of us can know for sure who else is saved. But, regarding a mate, we are told to judge someone by their fruit or not marry them! See James 1 and 2 on the only way that people/churches can judge Believers. In a hypothetical example though, I can say that only those that really trusted in Messiah, or who truly became Christians go to heaven.

if their heart isn't right with God, they will go to hell. Num 16:30, Isa 26:14, Jer 16:3-4, Lu 16:22-28 (even though this is a parable, we are to learn from this). God said that his spirit won't always strive with man, God's spirit will leave. When one backslides and falls away from God, God's spirit leaves their bodies.

All the spirits will go back to God who gave them. Afterward they will be judged, and only the 3rd one will dwell in heaven, the other 3 must be thrown into hell: the 1st did nothing with the knowledge; the 2nd did not get to know Jesus; the 4th ran away from Jesus; so only the 3rd one really knew Jesus.

It is God alone that judge and knows those that are fit for his kingdom.

Almost saved is completly lost.

As has been mentioned, read the parable of the Sower.

The judging as to who will go where is God's job. Do you think we are better to try to do His job? If we are Christians, it is our duty to help prepare them for the end of their earthly journey, not to judge them.
God knows and has told us how wide the gate to Heaven is.

I think that GOd will not come to judge us until everyone has heard of him. So lets get busy and spread the word!

We know that Christ came that we might have salvation, we also know he died but he rose again, returning to complete His marriage to the Church. Now to be a part of that service we also know that we need to Prepare ourselves, in light of this we who are alive need too first make sure that our Own name as written in the Lambs Book of Life, never mind other folk. GOD said HE Will Have Mercey On Whom He Will Have Mercy To Judge is to take Christ Off the Cross, love,
