I believe that you will know. God has a way of letting you know such things....His way of knowing.

I prayed and believed. God heard me and answered. I was in the nave in the 80's. in my heart, in my mind I knew my wife was out there. one day, I came home on leave, I was invited to a church with my brothers and friends, I heard an angel singing. My wife. she also is cousin to my brothers wife. we are married 20years now! three amazing kids 19,16,11. I raise them too, believe, god made one woman just foryou, he made you special for that one woman. Trust God and He will opwen the door...

You know how attraction usually comes from the outside. Like by sweet things they do, sweet things they say, how sweet they look, how they smell, how they feel..well right after praying harder than i've ever prayed...i met him..and was attracted to him totally.and from the inside, nothing physical.totally spiritual...when i am with him i feel that it is a reward from God...we have never even kissed,to hold his hand, to be in his embrace ...for him to enjoy my company .that is my way of making love.-

My wife and I used to meet at Church and go soul winning. We packed many people in our cars for church.
We built Jr. Church Ministries together and worked to increase overall church attendance by visiting and soul winning.
(I realized how much money we could save if we only drove one car and a marriage license wasn't that much so ............)
Hey, God gave me a partner and I took her as a gift from Him.
And ya don't hit the Bee Hive without fighting all the Bees.

Caroa,I knew that the relationship was of the Lord because we desired to build each other in the Lord first. We then committed to a courtship to see if God would let it florish or put an end to it. We wanted to learn to communicate openly and to handle differences before a committment to marriage was even talked about. We prayed that if there was any reason that we should not conclude the courtship with a commitment to marriage that God would make it very clear.

I am happy to report that on Aug24th I will
celebrate with my wife, our 37th wedding ani-versary.
As I indicated in a previous blog, I knew she was from God because she has and exhibits many of the character traits of a true daughternof God, patience and kindness at the top! She would probably not even mind those of you who give me hard time from time to time. So, I praise the Lord for my wonderful mate and I wish for those who are looking that you be as fortunate as I was.

When I was an unbeliever, I had a deep longing to be married. So, I "looked for love in all the wrong places" & got nowhere! Even after I became a believer, I still did not trust God to provide a husband and fell into the same patterns. Only when I learned to trust and obey did I meet a most wonderful, Godly man. I knew he was "the one" because he treated me like a sister in the Lord and encouraged my relationship with God.

My new husband of two years came after two divorces. I prayed for a man like he is and the Lord showed him to me in several dreams. He is kind to me and loves the Lord too. I believe God knows our hearts and He asks our obedience to His will and He will work all things out for us, especially relationships and love.

When I was about fourteen years old I had a dream I was riding horses with a darkhaired man and there were two compliments he would give me,and that would be the man I married. At sixteen I was at a friends and her uncle took me horseback riding. He said exactly what the man in the dream said to me and had black hair.I didn't think about the dream at the time, but I married him,it's been nearly 50 years ago.At times I've thought maybe it was a warning from God I didn't heed,ha ha,only kidding.I'm blessed.

When I first met my husband, he was married but seperated, and he would come in where I used to work (truck stop) and we would talk, I liked him but I didn't pursue my feelings because he was still married. We were both sinners at the time. We got together about 2 weeks before his divorce was final. The 16th of this month will make us 6 years of being married. I prayed for someone who I could talk to about anything, I prayed for a soul mate. We got saved together and baptized together. That is priceless.

I find this a difficult one,Caroa ! I thank God for my soul mate. But what if I had been so unfortunate to strike a very difficult partner, should I thank the Lord for giving me this challenge ? Are we all "given" a partner or do we "choose"? Can someone tell me ?

I know that God brought my wife and I together. Ihad been married and divorced 3 times before I got saved, but, they never lasted longer than 4 years or so. After I got saved, I prayed to the Lord to send me a mate, IF He wanted me married again. It only took 30 days for me to get an answer, and we have been together 10 years now. Praise God.
