You have taken the first and hardest step...asking for help! First, start with prayer. Ask to be led in the right direction and that helpers are put in your path. Do you have a pastor or a trusted adult to go to? Or call social services in your don't have to give your name, just ask where you can call for your specific problem. The important thing is that you follow through on what you just wrote and FIND the help you need. God can take you through it, but you have to make the choice!

Do what Elsie said to do. Look up Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous in the phone book today and call to find out where a meeting is. Go there and ask for help. They want to help you. Call your church and ask to meet with the pastor. Ask for help. Go to your doctor immediately and ask for help. Help is available. Those resources are available to you.

When my addiction was destroying my life and I knew I couldn't quit without help, I hit my knees and asked God for help. I owe my sobriety to the Lord and it is He who keeps me sober in times of great trouble and grief. Whenever I ask for strength, He gives me all I need. Pray with all your heart, be willing to turn your will over to Him. Your way isn't working, what do you have to lose? You are in my prayers. I am in my 13th year of sobriety.

Talk to someone who you feel comfortable with, but mostly talk with God and ask him for help. If you feel alone read the book of Pslams, this helps me. Please go to someone, anyone in church, do not be afriad. People in church should not attack you because noone is perfect, only JESUS was perfect. Everyone in this world has, or had an addiction to something. God loves you and wants you to be happy, I will pray for you.

Hi, Have you tried to talk to a doctor? There are LOTS of places depending on what you're addicted to that can help you. Also, I dont know how old you are but have you talked to your family (parents)? There is a ton of information on the internet about different addictions.

Curen, I don't know what addiction you have, but God does. I'll be praying that He will minister to you to help you overcome this. But YOU must be willing to give it up and not turn back. There are so many groups where you can get help, AA, NA, or whatever catagory you fall into. God bless you.

Dear Curen: I know addiction seems impossible to conquer but for God, nothing is impossible. Pray and ask Jesus to help you. Find an AA or NA group. Go to a Bible-believing church. Ask the Pastor for a Bible, he will give you one. Before all else, invite Jesus to come into your heart, confess your sin, draw close to Him; He cannot wait to set you free. Check yourself into a Christian Rehab; they are usually free. It will be the best thing you ever did! Blessings!
