Could God Be Mad At Me

Could it be possible God is mad at me? The reason I ask is because there is no end to the terrible things that happen to me. When my former neighbors were terrorizing me and people tryed to help everthing went wrong.

bill on 5/21/10 so michael how does the dispensation of the grace of god apply in the real world? there is grace but when you start moving forward, EVERYTHING becomes SIN or 'that is not biblical'. dispensation of grace of god?
Eph 3:2
It works very well if you accept it, but of course if you don't you continue in sin.

Jesus says, "In the world you all will have tribulation: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
---Eloy on 5/21/10

All I can say is this: God is stronger than your problems. Thank God, God is stronger than Satan who is the culprit for all of your troubles. We do nothing to cause troubles except we got saved. It's God's fault, He saved us from hell. Ha, ha. And here comes the devil. How come? Because, he got kicked out of Heaven, so he hates God's people. Try to remember God is stronger, and you can experience His strength, and really do very little. Something else I have received in the last couple of hours-from God. About this here trusting God. All it means is to remain faithful through trials. But, even at that, God is the one who will keep us. Hallelujah. He must always get all the glory. He saved you, His glory. He'll keep you, His glory. Hallelujah.

God can get our attention in manys ways. If you are a christian and have dedicated your life to Christ you are covered by the blood of Jesus. We have assurance from God's Word that he will never leave us nor forsake us. Submit to God's plan for your life. He may show you a sign but I do not believe there is "no end to the terrible things that happen." God allowed satan to test Job's faith. The bible said that Job was a perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.(Job 1:1) He lost everything he had yet he still trusted and believed in God. You can make it thru this test. Jesus told Satan "Get thee hence for it is written, Thou shall worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve." Matt 4:10

NO! God is love and even though we mess up, he continues to love us. If you feel he is mad at you it is proably because you did something stupid and if he were mad ,you probably would not blame him. Sometimes he uses ways to call us to pay attention but even then he will do it in (tough) LOVE!

Hi! I thought you might like a response from someone who can relate. I used to wonder if God might be mad at me too-and that does NOT mean you're "doubting" Him, as someone once wrote. "For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help."Isaiah 53:11 helps me too-Jesus, our role model suffered so much & it's obvious that the Father loves Him!

Satain is strong. But Jesus is stronger than him. Satain is very good at telling lies to us. You did the right thing by reaching out to the body of Christ. God is love, he loves us. The Holy Spirit will teach us and guide us into all truth. Speek God's word out loud...I believe God is love, He is compssionate, slow to anger and rich in love. Say it. God is love and He loves me. I believe it. "That is truth"
---Linda3939 on 7/13/05

God? never, Satan yes! As we draw closer to God, the more Satan tries to knock us down. God does not stop what Satan is doing in our lives, or how else will we learn and mature? When I was new to the faith, Satan attacked me, but like Job, I refused to blame God, but praised him more. I grew so much over that ordeal. God loves us, but like a child, we must grew and learn from out tribulations Romans 5:1-6

I heard this message and knew it was for you. Why do christians think God is mad at them when Jesus went to the cross and suffered so greatly for you while you were still a sinner and if the Father has put so much effort into saving humanity while they were sinners and far from God, if He showed that much long suffering and patience and love for you then, why would He suddenly be mad at you now, when you are now His child and loving Him????

God allows bad things to happen to people to bring you closer to Him.I've learned to take solace in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 "And He has said to me 'My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.' Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell within me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong."

John 10:10 - "THE thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly." -- The line has been clearly drawn. On one side God desires to bless, on the other, Satan desires to rob us of those blessings. Don't blame God for the misfortune in your life, He loves you and wants only good for you. Your enemy wants to wear you down and take you out any way he can. And if he can get you to blame God, all the better for him.

God uses our suffering and trouble to teach us and help us grow stronger in Him. Dear one, read what Jesus says in John 16:33. Then read Paul's writing about the solution to our troubles in Romans 8:35-39. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-11 about why we suffer. Then go to 2 Corinthians 7:4 and read what Paul says, "my joy knows no bounds" regardless of his suffering. PTL Press on in the Lord.

Hi! There are setbacks, bad things happen to good people, everyone goes through lots and lots of sorrow in life, but GOD IS LOVE and NEVER gets mad at His creation. You are special and loves very much by Him!
---Elsie on 6/21/05

Mad? No way. God is love. He provided the sacrifice for your sin, paid your debt, sanctified you, and redeemed you from the curse of the law. He has made you an adopted son, co-heir with Jesus, given you every good and perfect gift, and caused you to triumph in every situation. You are more than a conqueror and have all things that pertain to life and godliness. You are accepted in the Beloved, holy, blameless, and above reproach. You are 100% complete in Him. If you believe it.

I think a lot of life's happenings are based on the sowing and reaping principle which states, "do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked, for what soever a man's sows, that shall he reap". I think this can be applied both in financial giving and in life in general. I don't think God gets mad at people for He is longsuffering although He sure God mad at the Israelites but that was because they hardened their hearts once too many times. Hopes this helps you unravel part of life's mysteries.

God doesn't give us miserable situations. Any 'bad' things that happen come either from Satan's doing, or from our own free will. If the situation wasn't caused by our doing something outside of God's will, then it is His adversary Satan who is tormenting us and trying to make us think that God doesn't love us if we have to go through this. Don't give up hope, just keep following God's will.

We as christians will go through trails, and tests. When we are tested, if we go through them the way that God wamts us to, we will pass the test, and therefore, grow higher spiritually, learn patience, and, learn to trust God more, that He will see us through all of our trails. When we pass one test, there will be more to take, but when we keep our eyes on Jesus, and things come up against us, if we can remember, to remind ourselves, that this is only a test,

Thru the actions of others, God is testing you and your faith. You are doubting His wisdom. That pleases the devil. Suggest you talk to God and ask His guidance in your problems for He is good and His way is the better one everytime.
---chuck on 6/20/05

A wise man, also holy whom I could implicitly trust, once told me "when in adversity son, accept all these trials & tribulations, as stepping stones to perfection"which coincides with the saying "Be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect"use that as a guiding creed you wont go far wrong.

Bad things happen to good people it is a part of life (I know from yrs of experience)
God hates sin but he does not make bad things happen because he is mad at his children. Keep your eyes and heart on God and sonner or later you will find there was a reason for everything even the bad in your life. I have had almost 7 yrs of pain and bad and now I am coming to a clam peace in my life. Hang in there God isn't finished with you yet.

Paul said it best when he said, "When I do good, evil is always present". Keep praising him even in the bad times. God won't take you through something that he hasn't made a way out of.
---Rebecca_D on 6/19/05

Jesus said,"Be angry and sin not".He's not angry. We're living in this imperfect world He said we would have tribulations. It's thru such times He teaches us to trust & lean on Him. It's impossible to please God without faith.Jesus is our 'lawyer'.Ask for His wisdom in all situations and He promises to give us the words when we need them. Open your mouth and you'll be surprised how He'll speak through you His words. It's not easy the first few trials but it gets easier as you expeience His help.
