While Atlas Shrugged is a good cautionary tale about the dangers of unchecked socialism, Ayn Rand herself was not a prophetess (at least not in the religious sense, although she did have enough foresight to envision many things that had come to pass in later generations).

She was very strongly anti-communist (having lived in Russia before and during the Russian Revolution), and was strongly anti-religious as well. She was a fervent capitalist, and a fervent atheist.

Well frist of all im reply to help my sister, and not to hurt her.well the last prophet was john the bapist.he was the way who came before Chirst.the ppl of GOD would be prophisy the word of GOD agints the anti-christ which mean the instead of christ.which he comes frist to decvie the ppl of he did to the rapture is one way he will decive those who believe in i pray for God will to be done on earth,as it is in i pray for all of Gods children to be opened to HIS truth and not some mans truth.well keep studing Gods word and let HIM talk to u .he will just have faith.well i love all of my brothers and sisters in the lord.for all souls belong to the lord.AMEN

There is the prophetess Anna mentioned in the Word. There is also a modern day prophetess that predicted the second coming.(Ayan Rand in "Atlas Shrugged")
---duke on 12/15/07

To know the word of God is to discern what is of God and what is not of God. Many fall away because of the prosperity teachings as many believe it is a curse to be poor, yet, the Lord said, the poor have the gospel, yet this is not taught. It is so important for those who sit under these teachings to get into a "local" body of believers where they can be discipled in the word, to know what is of God and to especially grow in the knowledge of His word and apply it to their lives.
---Mary on 12/10/07

Hi, in my opinion she is not. When a prophet of God speaks, what that individual speaks comes to fruition. We must be careful who we listen to. It is imperative that we study the Word for ourselves. The Word clearly states, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6)
---Max on 11/10/07

God who at sundry times and diverse manner spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoke unto us by his Son,whom he hath appointed heir to all things hebrews1:1 They have no more prophets TODAY

I agree with Michelle MMR. When people invest in an image, they usually have rocks in their back pockets. However, when people invest in the kingdom from their hearts, they don't have a stone to throw because of the kingdom in their hearts.
---Linda on 10/5/07

Why do we wait until a woman is beaten to ask the public for discernment with regard to the likelyhood of her spiritual gift and the probablity of it being exploited or false? If she is a false and greedy prophet, she was prior to the beating and will be when the wounds heal and if she is not, then she is not. She did nothing wrong by being beaten. Why is she under scrutiny for that?We should be questioning about her husband. He is wrong.:)
---splaa6685 on 10/5/07

The culture of celebrity exalts someone into insane luxury. What the celebrity does not realize is that the 'culture' has as much pleasure in stoning them as elevating them.

For celebrities, right and wrong do not matter, only getting caught. Once you are caught, there is no future for you.

In the Church, when a leader falls, everyone looks befuddled to know what to do.

---Michelle on 10/5/07

The first concern is image and how it reflects on the Church. Some preachers will be glad to get rid of any competition.
Preachers fall because their private crisis goes unchecked. They have to keep up the facade and dare not tell anyone. But secret disasters go public. The biggest mistake of the Church is to tell the fallen what they already know.
Restoration programs can be a joke. It's not complicated, those that fall have to call on the Lord, like the rest of us.

I do believe Juanita Bynum is a Prophetess, but she is the type of Prophetess that is talked about in Revelation 2:20-25.

What do I think! It's not what I think. That is whats wrong with the world today. We sit back and watch and wait for someone to fall. Instead of praying on their behalf we are so quick to drag them through the mud. I am a firm believer that we reap what we sow. Be careful who we speak against and remeber, it's not what I think, or you think, but what God thinks. He got the final say so for her, you, and me.

Thanks for your comment Sabrina. I still admire the lady. What happened is unfortunate but we all are only human and we make human mistakes. Bishop Weeks is a mortal man with feelings and so is Prophetess Bynum(woman). I pray they will get it together and do the right and godly thing.

Televangelists, megachurch preachers, are cult-like in their presenting the Gospel of Christ. They use trickery, nice words, and entertainment to entice you, to build up their congregation using modern secular marketing concepts. Their TV personalities do not match their off air personalities. People who watch these preachers like their personalities not the message of God. TBN is a closed-knit inner circle of preachers. If you don't believe what they believe you are not part of their circle.

No she is a fame chaser, I think she as well as numerous others are all fakes and in it for the money and pwer and fame. She was a loud mouth fake when she came on the scene as is hiding something about her relationship with her husband. He was wrong for hitting her but something else took place that isn't being revealed about that evening..just watch something is up with her and her story...

Many people fail to realize when people are given Gifts of the Spirit, they don't come with instant maturity on how to us them. Submitting to the move of the Holy Ghost is a learning process,at first a person may be unsure and miss what God wants to say. It takes time to learn all the important ways God speaks through us and Babes in any area may make mistakes to begin with. Christians expect perfection from the beginning but it just doesn't happen. Have patience, they are God's servants not ours.

I posted a Question concerning this Prophetess a day or so ago. I have not seen it here on the blog yet. As everyone may know. She has been the victim of domestic abuse. She was beaten by her husband,Bishop T WeeksIII.
Yes---I think she is sincere in what she does. I feel she is of God. She is known quite possibly, all around the world. Due to television, internet ministries etc..She is an inspiration to me.

Steveg,I know God has a reason for everything we are given in the Bible and that's what the Bible says. Actually the Bible tells us in Matthew 7:1 & 2 Judge not that ye be not judged. For with what judgement you judge you shall be judged. 1Cor.6:1-4 is the only place we are told to judge, that's in matters of wrongs against one another, is before the Church instead of secular Courts ,and not just indiviuals judging each other or the clergy.

Darlene_1: "The Bible says to let the Prophets judge the Prophets."

Search the scriptures to show where common folks are not to reveal false prophets. Where prophets only are to reveal false prophets.
---Steveng on 8/27/07

The Bible says to let the Prophets judge the Prophets. Perhaps God didn't think others were qualified to judge Prophets. Seems like everyone now-a-days wants to be a judge of everyone elses behavior. The Bible also tells us to judge ourselves then God won't have to. Any judgement must line up with God's Word as all use of the Gifts must line up. When we let God show us the truth in any situation about any person we don't have to try to judge if a person is of God. We'll know it in our spirit.
---Darlene_1 on 8/27/07

OLIVIA: That is the most misused verse in the Bible. (Matth7:1) You are reading it out of context. It refers to hypocritical judgement. Read John7:24. Do not condemn those who expose error. We expose false prophets by comparing them to the Bible. Are we to let false prophets spread theirpoisonous doctrines? God forbid. Paul judged (1Cor5:1-13). The exposure of false prophets is a never ending job, especially today, to make sure God's people stay on the right track.

al: "I heard Juanita Bynum's prophecy about 911 months before it happened."

One prophesy doesn't make a prophet. The idea of a 911 possibility was predicted in the late 1980s by government agencies around the world. Gosh, even the false prophetess Jean Dixon was right 75% of the time only because she was avid in current events. In fact, anyone can take events several years in the past and make predictions into the future.

Her husband assaulted her today in the parking lot, police had to pull him off, pretty awful.
I know that episode was not of God.

Well, for some unknown reason, her husband beat her up today in the parking lot of an Atlanta hotel. Something is terribly wrong there.
---Bob on 8/23/07

There is not doubt in my mind this is a woman of God. Why because, as I search the scriptures, i find no fault in the messages. Many see the recognition, and hear the words she speak and become sceptics but the bottom line is God will use anyone who makes himself available, and many are not willing to pay that price, therefore when they see someone who will do whatever it takes, they are filled with doubt.

A mouth piece for his god. There is only one God. The role of a prophet can be many.
---catherine on 8/10/07

A Prophet refers to an inspired person who believes that he has been sent by God with a message to tell. He is, in this sense, the mouthpiece of his God. I heard Juanita Bynum's prophecy about 911 months before it happened. I thought she was talking about years from that date. As soon as I saw the planes hit and saw the horror, I remembered what she had said and she was right on target.

The light was gray, spiritually. I did not see a bright light, but a light that was dimming. It was gray. People were trying to work themselves up in the audience, but it was flat. The music was flat and the service was gray.

Blesss God,

I think Prophettess Juanita Bynum is real, she's a true woman of God. Everything about her is real. Prophettess Bynum stick strickly by the word. Her songs are anointed. Listen to her song "Peace" on her Glory CD. If you notice when she talks she gives you scripture to back what every she say up. I for one donot believe that she's false at all. May God bless and keep you.

through her revelations and illustrations in things of God. Be blessed prophetess byum-weeks , as God has called you for such a

Bringing the mixture of Old Testament religious traditions in with New Testament worship is idolatry.

It will not stand. Jesus says to rend our hearts. The Veil of Old Testament worship was torn in two by Jesus Christ. It's over.
To resurrect the Old with the New is idolatry.
---Cindy on 5/6/07

No religious act in the Old Testament was complete unless it was accompanied with sacrifice.

When you bring a replica of the Ark, tallits into New Testament worship, you are building a golden calf. It is idolatry.

Jesus died for the New Covenant.
By bringing back the old, you're telling God that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is not enough for you. It is idolatry.
---Cindy on 5/6/07

Do you believe this is the type of worship that God wants?

"Perhaps the worst part was when she had her people spread out enough white tallits (the traditional Jewish garment worn in prayer and study) to cover the entire stage behind her. She announced that she would be walking on them, and sprinkling olive oil on them, and people who gave (the most often suggested amount was one thousand dollars) would receive these (or pieces of these).

No repentance. No study of the Word. No call to obedience. No, thats what the tallit stands for, and thats what she was and is walking on.

maybe some of you who think this woman is a prophetess needs to go read what a prophet/ person of God is all about. God anoints his servants to work without favor not launder money from people to keep themselves in the very best stakes. Go ahead go read Apostle Paul and many other accounts most of whom were burned/stoned/hung upside down and even worse, JOKERS! some of you are even frightened to preach on the streets because it is against the law so was It in the days of the Saints!
---Carla5754 on 5/4/07

When I read of what they went through It makes me wonder if some of us have it so easy we make God word light. as in no stress just pure adulterated money making business as usual. Of course we need money but some of us are going to be shook up and shacked out.... when we stand before God, looking for a crown make no bones about it. Gods work was never that easy as TV. I know how hard it was for TBN but it's lost the calling on some of the shows.
---Carla5754 on 5/4/07

The Bible says to "test the Spirits" against the Scriptures. If what she says and does is in accordance with God's word then perhaps she is a prophetess. God has not taken away the gift of prophecy yet many do fake it so we must test.

"To the Law and the testimony if they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light in them." The Scriptures are the only way to know.

This is for the mature Christian - Know this that we're living in a time where the wheat and tare grow together. What's a saint to you, might be an aint to me due to my personal experience in the Word of God. However, because we all come short of the glory of GOD. Let's take the light off of JB, and put it on us to see where we live, breathe, and move in the Word. If you discover that you're not moving as far as you would like or imagined, then obviously somebody's short. Guess what, it's not JB.

juanita bynum is a true child of GOD she is not a fake. read her life story in a book called "No more sheets " she reveals herself and tells it all. You just began to worship and start praising God when you walk in.

I feel that all God's instruments will be held accountable for the work that they do. We must first realize that first JB is human like the rest of us. All sin and come short of the glory of God. Being that she is employed by God, she is managed by God also. He will handle her or any other minister who could be possibly misrepresenting Him. Study and show yourselves approval to unclothed wolves in sheep clothing. I do not agree with many ministries, but i leave the judging up to God. Turn the channel.

On the contrary TDG I do not for one moment believe JB above Gods word or that JB is a prophetess. I trust Gods word in every thing, I have no choice but to. If others want to follow a TV evangelist without wisdom it is entirely their choice. According to my copy of the book, poor Bishop(?) Weeks lives in adultery with a divorced woman - Juanita. If she is a prophetess, how come she does not live according to the Word of the Lord? (see 1 Cor. 7:10-11) Doesn't it appear she's living large and loving it? According to the Word - "He [she] that loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him [her]." Test the spirits according to the Word.

in the last days there will be many false prophets and people professing to be prophets of God. they are confusing the name with servant of God. a prophet is someone who walks and talks with God personally in life. sees the present, past and future and their prophecies become reality. many are called but few are chosen. by their works ye shall know them whether of God or Satan. to forgive others for money and show disrepect for the beliefs of others answers the question clearly. Christians, picking and choosing from the traditions of the Jew are offensive to them.

Isn't it sad that the core belief of replacement theology is that the church has replaced Israel and the Jewish people. Or that the Christians can borrow from the traditions for Christian services without understanding them? Many are doing it, not this ministry alone. God will have to straighten it all out.
