Where Is The Peace In The World
How can one find real peace in this rushing world? Deadlines, works to be done, a lot of (confusing, unnecessary) information (on the net, e.g., cheating people even brothers and sisters... I keep on praying but...where is peace? How can it be achieved? God bless you.

The ONLY place in the world to find real peace is in Jesus Christ our Lord. He alone is all that is needed to find comfort and rest from all the problems of this world. As He said, "Come unto me all you who are weary and heavy laden(burdened, troubled) and I will give you rest." What, or who else, do we need?

God didn't promise everything to be perfect, but he did promise to give us the strengh and grace and to love us always.

right now I don't have much peace I just gave a hard sermon, I have prayed over it all week and last night I had to leave the house and walk and pray and when I gave it I felt like i was stepping on alot of toes. But I have a peace even through it all. Why because the love of GOd can cast out fear and bring us all hope. that is what I cling too. Peace is there no where else.

I couldn't take your PEACE from you if I wanted to. Nobody has the power to take from you--your River of Peace that dwells within. Not War. Not Sickness. Not Jealousy. Not Hatred. Not even death.
It's yours and yours alone.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Peace comes by the the Holy Ghost it is supernatural, you can know this peace even in the most troubling of times, it is our comfort and assurance that Jesus is with us.It only comes with a close walk with Jesus in the Spirit.

The BIBLE say,s man do not know the way to peace. Despite secular skepticism, we can find ultimate understanding about the resolution of these future "perilous times" in the book many people may feel sentimental toward, but really know very little about. This book is the BIBLE. It speaks with authority about the future of our nations. It reveals prophecies about awesome events that will overtake all humanity. We must tell the world of a new coming kingdom of God. That will be peace.

Yes, 100X over, I forgive you and Fred...I was only 1/2 serious. Can I judge you? I have my intense blog moments, too!

The only true peace is the "peace that surpasses all understanding" that comes to us from God through His Son Jesus.

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
It's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
What a field day for the heat
A thousand people in the street

As long as this world exists there will never be peace among men and there will be wars and rumors of war. The only peace comes from God and when Jesus returns we will all know peace.

Jared and Fred, let's have a War over whether or not there is Peace! Shame...shame...shame
---Reiter on 11/9/06|
Fred you are so wrong. there is peace, and it comes from God, those that spend the time to focus their lives on God can have peace in the midst of the Storms. There is peace in the middle of a War when people are focused on God. Peace begins in our lives, and it extends outward. it isn't something that will only come later it is present today just like the Kingdom of God, it is in the future and it is today if we are focused on Him.

Meditation [Silent Prayer] is one move towards Inner Peace.
"It is better in prayer to have a heart without words, than words without heart." Mahatma Gandhi

Still yourself, quiet your innerman. He is the Prince of Peace, wait for Him U will feel His peace surround U, because U have sought Him w/truth. Do not look to the left/right but only on Him, if something neg. hits your spirit, shake it off. Remember U must master your flesh. Do not look for peace in this world U will not find it, but seek Him, chase HIm, do not let go until He blesses U like Jacob wrestled so U may have to-pit bull faith, inner peace will then come He said so, so that is good enough.

Where in the Bible does it say "In love there is peace?" Sounds like harie chritna. And you already have a Lemming to follow you off the cliff, Pharisee. I have heard that perfect love casts out fear, but in love there is not always peace.
Jesus is the prince of peace, but He also tells us different in Luke 12:51. He does it in love. In love there is not always peace. Look at Israel. God did not forget them. Their God reigns!

I make sure peace comes by starting the day in quiet reflection and Bibe reading. I rid myself of cumbersome circumstances. Sometimes this means I have to terminate relationships that become messy. I also make sure my life stays peaceful by guarding what I hear and what I watch. This is done by choosing carefully what comes into my ears and eyes. Finally, peace comes when I simplify my life by using wisdom in what I purchase. It takes time and energy to clean and to maintain lots of stuff. Joy9988

Pharasee, thats so beautiful what you wrote. "In love, there is peace".
And, God is love!

Peace comes through prayer, when you pray the Presence of the Holy Spirit will comfort you, this peace the world cannot have because they do not pray. Jesus said, "These things I have spoken to you, that in me you all might have peace. In the world you all will have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33.

I wrote a poem once about PEACE. I looked for it in the skies but dark clouds marred it - looked in the sea but waves ruined it -looked in the hearts but sadness of events destroyed it: I found it reigning in a graveyard!!!

One will never find peace on earth. There is always another deadline, slow moving car or person, or human activity or something that keeps one going faster and without satisfaction. Peace comes from within and from God. It is worth striving and working toward. It lasts. God may not take you from problems but He will help you thru them.

I can only find peace in tears, in brokeness and weeping in prayer.
To be emotionally ungaurded and to lay your cares upon Jesus. Too many people walk around with chains on their heart living in fear that they may be known of others or that others may know them and thereby trust the wrong person.
To love is to know and to be known intimately. Jesus made himself known to us and gave us all of him.
In love there is peace.
---Pharisee on 7/5/05|
In this world, there will never be peace. Peace comes from God. He is the only real peace. Abide in him, and he in you, there is your peace.

God gives us peace that passeth all understanding. The bible speaks of chaotic times and evil end times, but God gives us peace and grace to endure it all. I have more peace in my heart than I ever have had before.
---shira_5965 on 7/5/05|
The peace that we long for is in the quietness of our soul. When we are one with Christ, His peace comforts and give us the strength to endure, so at the end of our journey, "well done my good and faithful servant."
Just knowing that the Kingdom of Heaven is near, we should find it pure joy. Once we accept that precious gift He offers to us; His unconditional love, grace, mercy and forgiveness. Every day we can say, "thank you for the victory. Thank you for your peace"
