I wouldn't ever lie about having something like AIDS. Its not a joke and shouldn't be treated as such.

Tell him that you have AIDs.

I'm no priest, but I'm sure God would understand. Keep in mind that he/she hears a lot of prayers, and spends a lot of time rejecting people him/herself.

You need to get the police involved--immediately! This sounds like a freak who needs help, very badly. Is this a co-worker,church member? Where did he come from? From what you are saying this person is not going away soon. Seek help today. God bless you.

Try being honest....there is just no other way! Pray first and ask God to give you wisdom and the right words so that you are not hurtful when telling someone you're just not interested and then graciously let the person know....I've had men tell me very bluntly they aren't interested when a simple Christian email or phone call would have sufficed!

Be honest, and straight forward. It is better than waiting. Good luck

The first time, nicely say you aren't interested. If he gets to the point of stalking you or being a nusince in general, report him, there are laws against this. But, you might want to tell him he will be reported if he contacts you again. He will take the rejection to heart and leave you alone. (If he's not metally unbalanced or obsessed with you.)

I have just been hanging up as soon as I hear who it is. he hasn't "staulked" as I am not the first woman he done this to. he knows the law, and how far he can go with out crossing the line. can you pray that he will stop?!
---Laure5469 on 8/9/05

Dear Laure: Use the broken record technique - just say "no" (nicely) over and over again. Eventually he will stop; however, if it becomes an obsession with him and he begins to stalk you, THAT is against the law - call the Police!

O.K. I told him nicely 1st week that I was not interested. Then he called again so next week I said no. Please don't call again, he started to cry- I hung up. the next week I said no! He said I'm not giving him a chance{do I have too?} and that I would call the police{empty threat as he is only iritating not threating.} and hung up. what new advice do you have????

Yes be honest but try not to be hurtful. U should pray for God's guidance first on this matter and speak to the person concerned.
