Cast A Demon Out Of Me

I have tryed not to use the "F" word for a long time now. Once in a "great" while it or another word has come out of my mouth. I have repented and asked Jesus to forgive and to cleanse me. Yet it still happened again. Do I need to get something casted out of me?

Mlalone:Friend this a habit picked up in smoking drinking & others. The fact that realisation has come to you.& you find this word distasteful, while you have a choice of so many other words, its cultivation takes Practice; your acknowledgement is the first step. You will overcome as they say WATCH IT when speaking.

Amen to what Pharisee said.

Confess this to the Lord, ask for help to take this word out of your vocabulary. Its difficult I know when SO many around us say it, and its repeated in movies. Stay away from filth talk from people or movies that contain this.
I learned a lesson from my Dad many years ago. I'm embarrassed to say, but I would say the "S" word.He looked at me one day and softly said, "you have something in your mouth I wouldn't want to step in!" That 'cured' me!

I agree with DoryLory, As long as we are inthe flesh, we will never totally free from the curses of sin. However, we fo have a choice and a way to control sin, which is through the word of God. Start your morning with a passage of scripture, then focus and think of what you have read. Also do it before going to bed. Over time you will have better control of sin.

Out of the mouth the heart speaks. "Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not so to be. Does a fountain send forward at the same place sweet and bitter? Can the fig tree, my brothers, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so no fountain both yield salt water and fresh." James 3:10-12. Acknowledge Jesus with you always, and so speak pleasingly in his presence. Ask the Lord to give you a clean heart and a clean mind and only clean words to speak.

The sins of the flesh are listed in Galatians 5:19-21. The apostle Paul struggled with sin (Romans 7:7-25) & so does every other Christian. The solution for overcoming the sins of the flesh can be found in Romans 8:5,6 where it basically says, those who live according to their sinful nature spend too much time thinking about what their sinful nature wants. To overcome the sinful nature, it says, we must think about the things of God. In other words, we must focus our attention on the Word of God.

The Bible says that we are changed within by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). It's a training process and it takes time. The more time we spend with the Word, the quicker our minds are renewed and the more we are able to resist the sins of the flesh.

When we mess up, we confess the sin and keep on keeping on. God doesn't expect perfection ... He's just looking for a faithful heart.

certainly it is very good that You yourself cast and Bind the Evil words which comes from your mouth because it does not please God.
cast it accordingly to Mark 16:17-18

Many people romantacize spiritual warfare saying they have a spirit of this or that...The truth is you have a Holy Spirit, and that is precisely the reason this bothers you about yourself in the first place.

So no, there's no evil spirit to cast out, just a heart that needs a little more training and kneel time.

You will over come this: 1 John 4:4

Actually the use of foul language is a "habit" , sometimes deeply ingrained that takes a conscious effort to overcome! Keep trying!
