, well, a half-century of mixing gender roles has not changed God's plan for men: to be the leaders of the families, to be the head of the wife, to be in positions of authority and responsibility for the benefit of all of society.

What is God's purpose for men?
That we, by the faith of His Son, be conformed to the image of His son.

God created man for His glorification. Plain and simple. Thank you.++

Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

God made us in his image. So don't criticize yourself or anyone else. God's purpose for us is to worship him. For us to become his children through salvation by Jesus Christ. It took a blood atonement.

God's purpose has always been to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. we do that by living selfless lives and in harmony with Jesus Christ. teaching our children correct principals, so they can guide their lives. respect, trust and love those we marry so happiness fills our homes. recognizing sin and never doing it again, so Jesus can forgive us of those sins. living our lives by example 24-7. most important. avoiding temptation, so we never hurt those we love as much as the Savior.

Agreed Moderator. However with the varying thoughts of what God's purpose for women is on another blog, I can't help but wonder what responses would be blogged here.
PLEASE people, no arguing!

Jane: I believe a woman's purpose does not change when she says "I do." I believe HOW she fulfills her purpose changes. She still must honor God and seek to glorify Him with her gifts, but now she is doing it differently.

Oh I get it this is the women's bashing blog.Just kidding! I agree with the moderator. The purpose for men is the same purpose for the women who are single which makes us all one mankind.Married women is a didn't story with rules to follow in a marriage an so on.
---jane on 9/2/05|
Yes Moderator, God's truth is that plain & simple. Yet, some of us stiff necks stand eyeball-to-eyeball with it & say "what's truth?". Incredible!

Why is purpose associate with marriage and children? God has created us for His pleaure to fellowship with. There are many men that God has called to be single and childless. Do they have no purpose without a helpmate or child?
As in the women's purpose post, both these theories lead me to believe that without a husband in my life, and with my kids all grown, I have no purpose here on earth.

in my opinion Men are the greatest Gift from God ! Their Purpose is to replenish the earth to provide for their family like go out and kill a bear and feed their family lol just kidding...lead the family as God leads him be the example to his children and wife as the Bible so says to be......Pray Pray Pray....Be strong for his wife when she is weak, romantic, loving, stern, tempered, funny, etc.

Well, you see, God had to practice before he made women so he could work out the kinks. Actually, they do come in handy for populating the planet. And some of them are really nice to have around. And some of them are actually helpful sometimes. Like, sometimes they can reach the high shelf in the kitchen when we can't. Some of them are even kinda fun. I know I will enjoy having mine around when he gets his visa. This world would really be quite boring without men! Don't you think so?

The Bible tells us God created us for fellowship. I don't know the chapter or verse...but it's there. Somebody tell me where. He didn't make robots....but wanted us to love him out of free choice.
