Adam Needed To Correct Eve

If Adam hadn't taken the fruit from Eve would be living and walking and talking with God(NO SIN)? Since Adam was the head, and the Bible says that through one man was sin passed(something like that). So was it do to Adam not correcting Eve that we find us wher ewe are today? In a world full of sin.

This is a perfect example of not doing what others do.
If Adam had not sinned mankind would not have been sinners.
The blood line comes through the Father so does the sin nature. That is why Jesus was born of a Virgin.
The Holy Spirit planted the seed (Not sexually) in Mary, thus Jesus taking on the flesh of Mary had no sin nature. The flesh comes from the mother the nature comes from the father.
Because of Adams disobedience many became disobedient.

I think it is time we stopped laying blame for something only God knows for sure.

Actually Bruce it was Adam responsiblity. The man is the spirital head of the household. Women were told to submit and alot of people think we have it bad because of the but actually we have it easy. The bible says that a man should love his wife the way that Christ loved the church. Christ died for the church and so men are called to die for the sake of their wife.

On a more individual note, the mature spirit man in each of us has the authority to tell the woman (the soul) to not partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The carnal, unrenewed mind will always exalt self in works of self-righteousness and is self-conscious. The renewed mind rejoices in the work of Christ and is Christ conscious.

As soon as Adam fell, God began to reveal that sacrifice over and over and over again to man until, in the fullness of time, Jesus came forth from the womb of a virgin as THE LIGHT in a world full of darkness. Those in union with Him are also called light and God is the Father of lights. Hallelujah!

Man, because of the work of Jesus, can now walk and talk with God again in the cool (wind) of the day. God loves man so much that He gives him a choice and Adam had a choice to believe God and trust God. He chose to go up another doing instead of being. Thank God for Jesus, the Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world, the provision before there was ever a problem!

Adam didn't need to correct her. He needed to cover her. Adam's sin was unbelief. Yes, Adam is the cause of the sin in the world because he fell short of the glory. He passed that nature to all born of flesh. However, we who have been born of the Spirit have been called back to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus. Jesus' death was the death of the old man of flesh and His resurrection was the raising of the new creation man full of the life of God. See 2 Cor.5:17.

Bruce5656 in Genesis 3:6 it is made plain that Adam was with Eve at the point when the serpent talked with Eve. That being the case don't you think that he had a responsibility to speak up then and say 'no'. Eve already knew what God had said (either from God Himself or from her husband - we don't know which) but we know that Adam had been told directly by God. He had the opportunity to stop her but he didn't and he even ate himself. We are responsible for ourselves but sometimes also for each other.

Adam was the son of God. He could not accidentally sin, nor could he hate. Eve was of Adam, his feminish part. She did not intentionally sin but was seduced by the Serpent to commit the act. Adam had 2 choices then. He could refuse her and lose his wife, or partake with her and share the judgement of his Father. His act spared her life but caused the fall of mankind.

The Bible states that Eve was truly deceived by the serpent; however Adam knew what he was doing and still ate. Also Adam shifted the blame to Eve and even to God himself, by saying, God it was that woman you gave me. Just something to think about.Truth Tracker

grgeory, Thank you for your comments.
I agree with you 100%.
Christ was NOT Created. He is God and always has been. He created all things.
He, being God, never had a sin nature, but when He took on flesh because He did not have the aid of an earthly Father He did not receive the fleshly sin nature either. That was the purpose of the virgin.
He was 100% man and 100% God at the same time.
Thanks for your clarifying input.

Jesus had no sin nature because he was GOD himself in human flesh, not because he was born from Mary.

Mary had a sinful nature just as Joseph did. Jesus was not a created being as we are but GOD himself in Flesh form.

Adam cannot be blamed for Eves choices. Are you prepared to take responsibility for your mates choices?? Adam's fault lies in the fact that he too, ate.

John 21:22, "Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry (live) till I come (again), what is that to thee? follow thou me."

Our duty is to follwo Him. We are responsible for ourselves only.

Yes, if Adam had not sinned, he would be sinless. And no, the world is full of sin because Eve agreed with Satan to disobey God, then she not repenting but further she talked her husband also into sinning against God. Thus, both foreparents conspired with Satan against God, and therefore all three were rightly judged (cursed) of God and thrown out of the garden of Eden.

I think if Adam had asked for forgiveness, NONE of us would be here to have this conversation!
---NVBarbara on 9/16/05

I believe they both are at fault, Eve listened to the devil to eat the apple, and allso Adam, he should have told Eve not to do it, so Adam should have been the strong one to say no.
