Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs...Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?...Yea, Lord...Feed my sheep...Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep." (John 21:15-17).

To cast your net [His] way, reaping the end-time harvest of souls:

"They went forth...and that night they caught NOTHING.But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore...Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall FIND. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes." ( John 21:3-6).

Bhold/see, I come as a thief:That is 2the unGodly see 1Thess5:2U know the DOL come as thief in the night: V4But u r not in darkness, that that day should overtake u as a thief. The saints are to be alert and vigilant, lest they be deceived. As it is 2day, many are revelling in sports, entertainment, in worldly things to bother with God..the thief will surely surpass them. With all thats going on around us, lets pray that they will not miss out of the kingdom..

(Revelation 16:15)

"Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame."

God isn't saying anything to us through these hurricanes and tragedies. Those are all the result of the fall of Adam. God speaks to us through His Son. Hebrews 1.

Those who do not believe God punishes through natural disaters and the like, read your Bibles! Yes God is a loving Father, but He WILL NOT tolerate sin, and therefore punishes those who are sinning. He gives warnings, but when people don't listen, He has to wake them up.

My God can speak one word, and instantly all things that exist can be completely gone. He is telling believers to come out of the world and be separate from sin, and be not partakers of this world's plagues, for I am bringing them one upon another much worse than I have done in Egypt. And he is telling unbelievers to come to me and be saved, says the Lord, and I will abundantly pardon, and I will give you a new heart and a new mind, and I will be your God and you will be my people.

3. Now, for all you who are going to come back at me with the "we're not under O/T law anymore" argument (which is nothing more than a cop-out for those who are rebellious to God's authority in their lives) the LAW you're out from under is the law of sin and death- you are not, nor will you EVER be out from under the LAW OF GOD- Mal 3:6 For I am the Lord, I DO NOT CHANGE. What was wrong then, is wrong NOW. God said it, argue with him

2. Genesis 6:5-7 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, "I WILL DESTROY MAN WHOM I HAVE CREATED from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them."

1. Do you people ever READ your bible? Not enough room on here for me to list ALL THE MANY, MANY SCRIPTURAL ACCOUNTS of God sending judgement upon man, HIS creation, so I'll just start with the first book....

For every action an equal or greater...

It's a law, not unto itself, it bears the image of it's maker; as do we and yet in one or another way fallen or perverted.

The only thing in the world not fallen or perverted is the words of God from the written page.

DOWN HERE we see that perverted in some. Then there are those never given their heart

It's there that God's judgment begins; on the redeemed.
The world is judged by sin and subject to the law of death.

My daughter sent me a link to KIM CLEMENT(a modernday prophet from England). He gave a word for New Orleans in a prophesy in July 2005.Something to think about.God definitely is not pleased by a "sin city"(remember Sodom & G?).But,He is a loving God that always takes you when you run to Him & forsake your sin.He will make a way for those who trust Him.

WAKE UP! What about that big flood during the time of Noah? you don't know God. You put Him in your little box, and assume that God does not continually bring judgement on the earth. Look around. The time is near. Or are you going to be one who is not ready? WAKE UP!
---Peter on 9/17/05

I can not see, based on the bibel that the tragic acts are of God.

I don't think God is trying to tell anything thru a storm. That why he gave us the Bible to read and understand how to weather the stroms in our lives. Love in Christ Jesus Mike

Why do you think they are acts of God?
Why could they not be the consequenses of what we ourselves have done to our environment. God is not a angry revengeful God causing tragic things to happen to kill of his creations. God has told us same things he always tells us from day one.
He is our shelter in the times of these storms not the hand that starts the storms, we have ourselves to thank for that.
---Marla on 9/17/05

....In the OT, God ruled man because he was trying to teach us what sin and disobedience was. In the NT, it's all about grace. We serve God or not by our own will, not because he is going to kill us or make us sick or destroy something if we don't. In Gen, God told Noe', "My Spirit will not always strive with man". The word strive means "rule". When the New covenant came in the old went out. The old taught us what sin was, we repented and now live under grace.

Nothing!! Everything God created was "good". when Satan was given dominion in the earth by Adam and Eve, he perverted everything that God had made. So now there are weeds, sickness, disease, hurricanes, and floods. He has perverted music and astrology. These storms are not judgements of God on sinful cities.. God is JUST so if he judges anyone for their sin.. he must judge everyone.
