Political Correctness In USA

Do you see America buckling under to tolerance and political correctness of all things in the name of freedom of religion? Freedom of speech is restricted against oppostion to the god of islam. Slowing but surely...I see THE GOD of Israel barred from the public arena. What have you observed?

I think you're right Watching. Although I am not very PC. I try not to make someone annoyed, but I let my beliefs be known as often as possible.
A word here, a remark there that hopefully will make people think about their relationship with God.

Same in the UK
Everywhere we are taught about other religions views, etc, and arrangement smade for them to practice their faith.
But we can't promote Christian things, because that would upset non Christians.
Even Christnas becomes Winterval in some places. But the festivals of other religions are allowed

the world teaching inclusiveness, but the word of God is exclusive. they're not gonna jive.

We will be hated because of our love for Him. That's fine with me. God made political correctness for me because it gives me something to feed my rebellious spirit with. We have a lot of businessed down here with the Ten Commandments displayed outside. From here on out, things will just get worse. We need to get out there and save souls. Sad times for those who are "correct".

You are correct. The devil is very sneaky and is using "political correctness" as a means to disguse his real purpose. The sad thing is Christians aren't taking advantage of it. This is a great opportunity for evangelism. It is also a way of seperating the "want-a-bes" from born again Christians.

You're right Heather. If Judge Roy Moore runs for gov like he plans, then the people of Alabama can make a statement loud and clear. This anti-Christ movement is being legistated through the high courts, not by popular vote.
---wayne on 10/5/05

No, Wayne, I didn't know that. I'm with you, however, I'd definitely vote for him. One of the biggest things that's led to all this nonsense of taking God out of schools, out of churches, etc., is that Christians who could weren't strong enough to stand up and speak the Truth.
---Heather on 10/4/05

Thanks Heather, I know what you're talking about. I was talking about the supreme court level if someone voiced their acknowledgement of Jesus. Did you know that Judge Moore is running for Govenor? Wish I could vote for him.
---wayne on 10/4/05

Wayne, he would probably be made to feel quite foolish for believing such things, or at least his colleagues would TRY to make him feel foolish. We live in an age when it is O.K. to believe in absolutely anything, except the truth and where we are not allowed to criticize anyone, except Christians.
---Xanthi on 10/4/05

Wayne, we've already had a preview of that on a smaller scale. The judge in Alabama who refused to take the display of the 10 Commandments out of his courtroom was a state superior court judge. Multiply that by a few hundred. The ACLU would have a field day at Chistian's further expense.
---Heather on 10/4/05

What do you'll think would happen if a supreme court nominie or member would openly profess Jesus Christ?

Political correctness has gone mad in U.K. at least. A few days ago a gentleman from an organization called Christian Voice was a guest speaker on Question Time. He was given a very hard time by fellow guests, the audience and the presenter. Things were said to him that none of them would have thought or dared to say to anyone of ANY other religion. I think he was invited to be set up personally. Did anyone else see it?
---Paul on 10/2/05

It's time for Christians to "wake up and smell the coffee". I've been in countries where Christians are still the marjority. They are tolerant of other religions, but aren't fooled by them in the name of "Political Correctness". They have Christimas scenes in schools, store fronts, etc. We, (Americans) have become "foot mats"
in the name of "Polictical Correctness."
