John 14 says " in my Fathers house are many mansions.(kjv) another translation (I forget which says "in my Fathers house are many rooms." There is a lot of difference in a mansion and a room.

Steve, you may say things in what you consider humor. I don't think you would say it you did not mean it. I believe you have emotional problems, or at the very least hang-ups about women. I have asked you before to seek godly counseling. Your "jokes" are neither funny or helpful. It is more likely to get attention.

Hands up, anyone who feels that Steve's comment have "lightened things"

, i have been very helpful to many people. i may not always agree with some, but my humor has lightened things up a bit. sorry if that bothers anyone.

Steve you are a sly one indeed. You don't like the way I "treat" you because I expose so much of your foolishness.
I am not the only one who sees it. When you come on here with a clear mind and not trying to confuse or hurt people then you will have no problem with me. You like to keep things in an uproar. That is something you said yourself.
My offer still stands that I extended to you on the other blog and I mean it but I will not let you spread your nonsense unchecked.

1John 5:7 There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (verse omittitted in the Revised Version.)
1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God ( Revised Version says He who) was manifest in the flesh...
2Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality ( RV says incorruption) to light through the gospel:

I would ask, "why does the bible quote a dozen other books, as scripture, books no longer in the Bible? The KJV people had an agenda, the Catholics had one. My agenda, to promote thought. As to verses, there are two creation stories, spliced together from Gen 1 to Gen 2. -Why?

, elder, your attitude toward me jumps from hostile to condescending. i ask you again, please treat me with the same respect you demand for yourself. it is not too much to ask.

Linda I can can only think this is not the same Steve.
I do plan on giving Steve all the attention he requires.
If I (we) cannot help him then I plan to expose him at every corner that he stirs up foolishness but only for the sake of others.
I would ask that every Christian here take the time on DEC 1st to pray that the Blood of Christ will cleanse Steve and give him a teachable spirit so he may learn not to blaspheme and to serve the Lord in Righteousness.
Thanks and God Bless.

I have a number of pages I printed from the kjv and other versions. I just couldn't find what I did with them, but if you put kjv in your search engine, you will find the comparisons. v e r y i n s t e r e s t i n g

One of the most significant of new translational changes is 2Peter 2:9, KJV "The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:" In all new translations, God is punishing the sinners until judgement. How unfair! To punish someone before he has his day in court.

Elder: You asked,"Steve has wrote many things on other blogs about this very subject and now starts another one.
It makes me wonder what his purpose is." I have a simple answer: He needs ATTENTION. I have been following his postings, and his responses in other blogs. He has a unique personality. Interesting!

Shirley there are so many verses even I would get tired of posting.
One is where Saul called David a Son of a B.... in plain everyday gutter language (TLB).
Others call Mary a "young" woman. Correct text calls her a Virgin. We all know of young women today that have not been virgins for years and 13 year olds having babies.
In some newer works John 3:16 says that God gave His only Son. That is not true.

God did not give His only Son, for I am a son also. God gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON! See the difference? Sure I know you do. and Steve doesn't.
The problem is this, Steve has wrote many things on other blogs about this very subject and now starts another one.
It makes me wonder what his purpose is.

Bro Elder, wish you would give us insight into this question. I have researched this, but can't remember all the verses that were changed from kjv.
