How To Join Penpal Section
I'm fairly new to this blog site. I notice that some of you post your name and some numbers after it, telling others to contact you. What's that all about and how do you do it?

How convenient for you, Alan Uk.
We all have family albums chock full of photos, don't we?

I used to have a picture on my PP profile, but it has disappeared, and now the system for adding one is so complicated that my computer can't cope with the resizing that is needed.
StrongAxe ... You could of course choose a different first name which would be used for your ID, but only the first four or five letters of it are used.
There is no need to post using yuor PP ID ... I am Alan8566, but call myself here ...

I notice that there's no option to choose your own user name. I guess that it assigns one to you randomly. Does that mean that you suddenly have to start posting under a different name once you join?

Click on the "penpal" link, and fill in the profile form. Add a picture if you'd like, and after it's approved by the admin, you'll be given a web-generated log-in name and number that anyone who is a member can contact you through. Hope to see you there soon. God bless.

Happy to have you with us Sybil. We hiss and fuss on some subjects, but we all try to respect each other, and love one another.
God bless you.

Once you're a member you can go into "view profile" and enter that person's log-in name (ann5758, for example) and see that person's profile. You can then write that person or send a card through the safety of the site. Your private email addy is not given out. It's up to you if you want to share that with people or not.
