Many witches go to church to cast spells on the congregation. They think it will give them power, and they want to get rid of praying Christians.
---Betty on 7/10/09|
Simply because he is a hypocrite. Very sincerley don't mean to name call, I am going strictly by your question. Satanists mix truth with lies to justify their beleifs. If you are a Christian then you probably read the Bible as do I. God tells us that he will allow the fools (ones who wish not to save there souls or are not God fearing) to keep sinning as there punishment in the next life, the one that never ends, to be doubled. Do not ever confront him on this subject. Do not argue with a fool, save your's and get your next life. God's will is decreed in everything.

God will bring his deception into the light. Apparently there aren't any very strong believers in that church or I believe they'd be able to tell that the guy doesn't have the Holy Spirit. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing!
---Bryan on 2/7/09|
God allows a of things that aren't good. He doesn't send a lightning bolt from heaven to zap each and every sinner - otherwise none of us would be around.
While it's true that Lucifer was one a powerful servant of God, that ended long ago. While our popular culture portrays Satan and his devils as warden and guards in a prison called hell, the Bible tells a totally different story - that they are the inmates.
---StrongAxe on 11/11/08|
God doesn't allow this! Just because someone says they are a christian doesn't mean they are. You ask why does this happen lots of bad things happen that doesn't mean God approves it.
---Amber on 11/10/08|
What if it wasn't a contradiction? This site calls for Christ-like replies, yet Christ stood bare before the morning star and the light shone through. I would pose you this question: If you were creating a prison, would you appoint, to its leadership, the worst criminal? Perhaps it was the person who tested the other criminals and revealed their true nature, a pure soul that is of the most loved and trusted.
Ponder this dark matter, and to it, bring light.
---Nameless on 10/23/07|
Sorry about your friend's dad. Actually, the churches are overflowing with satanists. They are pastors, worship leaders, etc. They are endeavoring to bring in satan's antiChrist and like him are masters of deception.
---Asher on 9/30/07|
Catherine, you would be correct.
There are witches and pagans that come to the site on the way down to their 'calling' ladders. It is rite of passage. They're told to come here and play nice and slide in next to the Christians.
Heres the thing, they need us, but we don't need what they have to offer. They tell us it's working for them 100%. On judgment day, they will be singing a different tune.

Like Napoleon, they...have lost the power to think a decent thought.
Unholy, attracted to dark images, the morbid and cruelty.
Proverbs 4:16 says
For they sleep not, except they have done
mischief; and their sleep is taken away,
unless they cause some to fall.
Unforgiving, they do not heal from past wounds, frozen in a state of anger and bitterness
Unloving, cold and callous to normal human sympathy, numb to violence and do not feel outrage about evil or injustice
---Southampton on 5/6/07|
The people who know thier God will be strong.
This is a promise to the Christian.
It overrules and neutralizes the spiritual erosion of the witch, aetheist, pagan...
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, the inward man is renewed day by day.
---Southampton on 5/6/07|
Well, I just do not believe this question it has to be a made up. Satinism is all about Satan. If it isn't the name should be changed.
---catherine on 5/6/07|
i have read sites about satinism and tryed one thing and it worked 100 %
i am not saying satinism is about satan its more about human potential but has been given a bad rep... anyway i hope this reply helps :P
---simon on 5/5/07|
You are either for God or against him.....
2 Corinthians 11:14-15 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Those descriptions also fit the wolves in sheeps clothing that fleece the sheep, then eat them. Lucifer was very vain, charming. Some people lead double lives. They can have work personalities, home personalities, secret life personalites and then come to church with their religious personalities. But sometimes, God exposes the secret life, and the house of cards all falls down.

U would be surprised if U knew who practices the occult. But when I was in the occult- my occult friends were doctors, artists, etc. There is high magik/low magik, white/grey & black. High magik is very complicated many educated are drawn to that, the books & tools expensive. So to those who think they dont exist or its just "hill" people are very wrong. U must keep your guard up the Devil looks for the best, brightest, nicest looking, social, funny, & well liked in order to sway & trick others.

I feel sorry for his church... God didn't allow this but man did, humans are the ones that choose the deacons, they are supposed to do this with prayer and reflection, and they should meet certain criteria, but ultimatley it is man making the desicion. I feel sorry for their church because clearly they don't know or don't care who or what the leaders are.

Jeanne, I saw your response on another blog. I thought you might have some insight about gemstone blog. I appreciate your expertise.
The blog is on the headline, current main page. Thanks for all your Christ-like replies.

Part 1: Randi, I would advise you to be very careful of any contact you have with this individual, or their family. I came into contact with a Satan-worshipper when I was 16, at the church I grew up in. He became a friend of mine, and came to me expressing a desire to leave this behind. In my efforts to help him, I was almost kicked out of my home and my church. It caused some very deep anger in my heart and drove me away from the church and christianity.

Part 2: The Lord let me run for almost 20 years before He took control of my life and brought me back to Himself. I am so thankful that the Lord kept me in His care all those years, as I really sunk down to the edge of the pit. Please be careful.
---tommy3007 on 11/6/06|
Jeanne, what a great testimony of Jesus Christ in your life. Have you checked out the gemstone blog? I was wondering if you have thoughts about what is really going on there.
---R.A. on 11/6/06|
Jeanne, your comments really encourage me. I have a loved one who is also into Kabbalah and I've been praying for their salvation for years. To hear that you've been delivered from that is good to hear. Praise God Almighty!!!
---AlwaysOn on 11/6/06|
God "allows" many things for the salvation of a soul. I was a practicing Kabalist did magik regularly and went 2 church and temple. I was drawn by the pure love of God and it finally wore down all the walls I had put up. So pray for his soul. The sick go to the hospital looking for a cure, church is the spirits hospital the cure is Christ.
---Jeanne on 11/6/06|
2. Many people in the Methodist church would probably not believe it if they were told that there was a practicing Satanist in their midst. If they were told by the person themselves some would probably say "Well, well, how interesting." Sadly there are some in our churches who actually believe that as long as you attend 'somewhere' you are O.K.
---emg on 1/10/06|
The details of secret organizations,Freemasonry, Satanism or anything else are only brought to light when people leave these organizations and tell their own stories. Often they are not believed though. I know many people in the churches who simply do not believe that witches exist. They believe they are women in pointed black hats, who ride on a broomstick with a cat behind them and are only the things of fairytales. Such people will not believe that freemasonry is bad or that Satanists exist either.
---emg on 1/10/06|
len_k: Why do you compare satanism with devil worshipping? Devil worshippers believe in God and Satan, just as you do, they just cheer for the other team. Satanist are non-believers and use Satan as an opposite for Jesus, only as an icon. Satanist are in opposition to the christian moral and the "laws" christians follow.
---kerry on 1/10/06|
I am no Freemason. I have heard it said, Americas founders were christian, yet most of them were fremasons. Washington was a 32 degree mason. Its on our doller bill, its all over washington DC, oh my, i am confused.
---len_k on 12/11/05|
1. Satanism is usually EXTREMELY secret, how is the fact in the open at all?
2. Many Freemasons and satanists are IN our churches, most not revealed for their secret lives
3. Can you share whether you KNOW for sure if he is a practising satanist?
4. The bible warns us of false teachers in the end days, this is why we all need to have strong discernment of what we are sitting under.
---Maxine on 12/11/05|
Who the 'heck' would want to be a Satanist? In America today Satan's trick is to convince folks he does not exist, for is he does not exist, then God does not. I think someone wanting to be a devil worshipper has more a problem a mental health professional needs to look at.
I often thought the devil looks more like Richard Simmons than Gene Simmons, am i off base?
---len_k on 12/10/05|
Randi, There is a verse or verses in I Cor. or II Cor. (can't find the ref right now) where it says "being among us, they will come out from us", referring to folks like this man... as said earlier, a wolf in sheeps clothing. We should not be surprised at the occurance, because Satan is very tricky indeed, and we should definitely pray that he repents or is exposed. Whether or not you should be the one to confront and/or expose him is also a matter for prayer.
---daphn8897 on 12/9/05|
Yes, my friend has told me this. He is in his 30' now and says he grew up this way. Friday nights were at the satanist ceremony and Sunday mornings at the christian church. This is something that was told in private and is not common knowledge to everyone so the church doesn't know. Most of them don't announce their activities openly. I do not feel comfortable asking him, this is not occuring in my town as we now live in different cities. From what my friend has said he is telling the truth.
---randi on 12/7/05|
Satan is worming his way into our churches. I recently heard of a church desperate for a S.S. teacher. They chose a new lady who had only been coming for a couple of months. Years later, it was revealed that she had been teaching students about tarot cards and palm reading. The children thought this was part of the Bible!
---Cathy_Y on 12/7/05|
I am surprised that someone is actually claiming to be both. I would have thought that a satanist would not wish to set his foot over the doorstep of a church. Does he openly talk about being both or could this be a rumour? Has he told you or has his son or daughter told you? I apologise for asking rather than offering advice but at this moment I am confused because, if it is an open thing, he should not be allowed in the church.
---M.A. on 12/7/05|
How come you know this but the Methodist church does not?
---alan8869_of_UK on 12/7/05|
How do you know he's a satanist? Unless this friend of your dad's told you, it may just be gossip. Just because this friend of your dad's is a church member and a deacon, doesn't mean he's a Christian. You are comparing "apples and oranges"! If you are really interested in knowing the truth, ask him!
---WIVV on 12/6/05|
He can't be both, he is a wolve in sheep's clothing, fooling no one but himself. God doesn't make anyone do anything. we have choices. God said "Chose this day, in whom ye shall serve". meaning me or Satan. What he is doing inside the church should be stopped.
