Belated Merry Christmas everyone. I hope everyone had a blessed day on Sunday. My kids are all home and we had a fantastic day of visiting and fellowship. God was really good to us.
I have off this week, so I am going to take it easy. I still have treatment three nights though. I only have a few more weeks of it so keep praying.
---Madison on 1/14/08|
I'm back and I'm praising the Lord! I missed you all, been away for awhile. Are we all ready for Christmas yet? I'm not. Who cares, praise the Lord!
---John on 3/7/07|
Barbara, Yes, I'm still looking, so keep up the prayers. I will be working today and tomorrow on my old job, but it's been really hard for me lately. It's very physical for me.
April and her new husband Joe are doing great! They still want to move out to Oregon in or around the spring of 2007.
Thanks for asking and still praying. God bless you sis!
---John on 1/18/06|
John, are you still job shopping? You're still in my prayers. I hope things are going well for you.
How are the newly weds?
Walk in peace bro.
---NVBarbara on 1/17/06|
Happy MLK day. I hope you've had a restful day off Madison.
I had to drive across town, I made it in record time, not having to slow down in the many school zones, and no school buses on the road!
---NVBarbara on 1/16/06|
I had a good day at church. We were discussing baptism, and one of my Sunday School students may be getting baptized next week at our baptism service.
I have Monday off, YIPPEE!!!!
Catch you later.
---Madison on 1/15/06|
Has anyone heard from Mike Villwock lately?
Please hold him up in prayer, the Lord has laid him on my heart recently. Thanks.
---NVBarbara on 1/14/06|
I'm happy to hear that your treatment program is over Madison! How did your job interview go?
Olie, how are you buddy? I can smell the stink bait from here!
SO glad Dory that the dealers have left your neighborhood!
Eloy had asked for prayer for a job, praise God I heard from him and he got a good job, and then got a call and was offered another!
---NVBarbara on 1/13/06|
God has been answering a lot of our prayers. Praise the Lord! Olie, when your settled in and after you pick the ticks off the dogs and hit all your favorite fishin holes, get back to us, bro.
---John on 1/12/06|
Praise God how He is moving on the behalf of His children . I would like to report everything is going well for my daughter and her assistant on the job,ha ha the people in charge even did their laundry for them ,brings them food all time . It's not unusual for God to go the extra mile for us through other people . What an awesome God !!
---Darlene_1 on 1/12/06|
Praise the Lord!!! Olie is back, and DoryLory's drug dealing neighbors are gone.
I also want to give praise to our Father for the completion of my treatment program. God has had His loving hand in my life for the past two months. He deserves all the glory.
---Madison on 1/11/06|
I JUST KNEW Olie would show up at the mention of gravy!
PLEASE!!! Disregard his recipes if you value your life!
---NVBarbara on 1/11/06|
I have a praise report! On January 2nd I requested prayer because some drug dealers had set up shop in the house next door. They are gone! At least 10 people, carrying their worldly possessions in garbage bags, were evicted by the landlord yesterday! Our street hasn't had such a quiet night in months! Thank you prayer warriers!!!
---DoryLory on 1/11/06|
I come back from holiday vacation and I run into more gravy! This was not expected folks. I'll have to get back to yall when I get settled back in. The dogs and the hogs missed this boy.
---Olie on 1/10/06|
Fiorello's lawyer put his cloak down over a puddle so a lady could pass by, but the puddle turned out to be a 10 foot deep gravy pool.
---John on 1/10/06|
I LOVE GRAVYS ! Yes I do, I'm a gravys boy! Don't know too many folks who don't.
---Bob on 1/10/06|
I do catering with my brother and everyone raves about our gravy. My brother 'the chef' has a fit when I tell everyone the secret behind this great gravy... Cambell's canned gravy. It is good.
---bethie on 1/9/06|
Gravy, brown or white? What is your favorite? Someone said that I could get a good gravy recipe here.
---Betty on 1/9/06|
The cape got caught between two large doors, he fell and hurt his hip, but he's fine now. He does remind people of Darth Vader.
---Fiorello on 1/9/06|
Fiorella, have you thought of changing lawyers, he sounds weird!
Also, why would getting his cape caught in the door stop your legal process?
---NVBarbara on 1/9/06|
Madison, I am praying for you. May the Lord heal you quickly! Fiorello, Does your lawyer have a son named Luke and does he live in a galaxy far, far away?
---John on 1/8/06|
Happy Sunday. I took a fall down some steps on Saturday. X-rays showed nothing broken. I ache all over. Please pray for me to heal with no further damage.
---Madison on 1/8/06|
Yes, a cape, a big hat and a cane. He doesn't even need the cane. I'm kind of afraid to ask him about it. He is very tall and ominous looking and when he wears the dark glasses people cross over to the other side of the street. I think the court judges are even intimidated by him. His whole wardrope is black!
---Fiorello on 1/8/06|
Thank you for asking John, I was going to but all I could see in my head was an image of Batman, and I didn't want to embarrass myself!
Obviously Fiorello is in a country where they hold court in an old fashioned, or formal way.( At least I hope he is!) Powdered wigs maybe?
---NVBarbara on 1/7/06|
Fiorello, Your lawyer wears a cape?
---John on 1/6/06|
THANK YOU AGAIN nvBarbara you are such a blessing!

My daughter is a Network Specialist for a Tax Preparer Company , she and her assistant set up all the Tax Office's Computer Programs in one District of Texas . Since she is the only one in Texas who has all her Offices working they are sending her and her assistant to one of Texas's largest cities to get those offices up and running . Please pray for them , God will protect their trip , they are driving , and time there , plus all will go well in every way . Prayer for families at home too .
---Darlene_1 on 1/6/06|
My court date got postponed because my lawyers cape got caught in the door to the court room. He wasn't hurt bad but it gave me more time. Maybe it's a good thing. Sometimes things work out for the best.
---Fiorello on 1/6/06|
Hey everybody. It's Friday!!!!!!! Yippee!!!!! I had one of those days with my classes. Would you all pray for my son. He tore some ligaments in his pinkie finger and has been suffering from it since before Christmas. Praise the Lord he was able to see a really good ortho doc where he lives.
Also, I have my job interview on Monday. Please pray for me concerning it. Thanks.
---Madison on 1/6/06|
Its getting dusty in here, no visitors lately! Just to tell you that I love you all and that you're always in my prayers. I feel better thank God, this stomach virus about did me in! Okay, I'll straighten up on my way out!
---NVBarbara on 1/6/06|
Madison, i will keep you in my prayers, as well as my other kin and nonkin here at the blog. God is good, and God is always good. God loves you dearly Madison, and he wants nothing less than the very best for all who truly come to him.
---Eloy on 1/3/06|
Thanks for the prayers everyone. God is so good to me these days. I have loving Christian brothers and sisters all over the world who lift me up in prayer when I need it most. I am especially fond of this group here.
I will be completing my treatment program next week. Then, I will go to individual therapy to continue the work I began in treatment. Sort of a maintenance program.
God is supplying all of my needs in healing me.
God bless all of you.
---Madison on 1/3/06|
It looks like we all have prayer requests. The Father loves when we come to Him in need! Also that we turn to each other for more prayer! It will be my pleasure to be in prayer for all of you. It humbles me so that God trusts me to to stand in the gap for my brothers and sisters. Much love to all of you!
---NVBarbara on 1/3/06|
Madison we will be praying that God will supply your needs and multiply your ministry for Him.
God Bless you.
---Elder on 1/3/06|
Madison, my prayers are with you. May God put you where you can be used and also blessed.
---Darlene_1 on 1/2/06|
Prayer Request: I have a job interview on Monday, January 9th for a social work position in the school district in which I teach. Please pray the Lord's will is done in this matter, and that I have peace with the outcome.
---Madison on 1/2/06|
DoryLori, I'm already praying for you and the whole situation and everyone involved. God bless all of us, especially in this year from here on out!
---John on 1/2/06|
Barb, you're in my prayers; Madison, thanks, and i'm praying for your continued overcoming success, one step at a time and one day at a time sweet Jesus; DoryLory, i pray Lord intervene, and the police break up that illegal activity in Jesus' name Amen.
---Eloy on 1/2/06|
Good morning everyone! Barbara, I'm joining my prayers with everyone else for you. Proverbs 3:5,6 always blesses me when I have a difficult decision to make.
I have a prayer request too. A few months ago some kids moved into the house next door to ours. We don't know them (or even how many are living there) but they obviously are drug dealers. I'd like prayer for this situation and everyone concerned, including the police.
---DoryLory on 1/2/06|
Hi everyone. Happy New Year. I pray it is a blessed one for all here.
Barb, I am praying for you and your decision.
Eloy, I know the Lord has just the right job for you.
Hugs to all.
---Madison on 12/31/05|
Barbara, I pray that those decisions are all the right ones, in Jesus name. Are those people still living with you, and how's Steve's job situation going? God bless you sister Barbara and Happy New Year!
---John on 12/31/05|
I pray for all of you and wish you a blessed new year.
I'm asking for your prayers as well, we have some tough decisions to make soon. Thank you and God bless!

i don't have cable either, so i didn't see the TV programs. In the book of Daniel in the O.T. it reads that the Antichrist comes out of the north. So north of Jerusalem we have Turkey, and across the Black Sea there's the Ukraine and Russia, so he could come out of there.
---Eloy on 12/28/05|
NVBarbara, since I don't have cable would you please tell a little bit about the program on the antichrist? I hate I can't see it, sounds very interesting. Do you have a clue as to who it could be?
---Nellah on 12/27/05|
Hello! I've miss this place. Got myself a birthday gift, a book, "Gianna". It's about a girl who survived a saline abortion. She's an incredible gift to this world. I highly recommend reading this.
---Nellah on 12/27/05|
Has anyone seen the programs they are doing on the History channel regarding the 'Anti-Christ?'
I saw the first 2 parts tonight, interesting...
