Mima. I have been at CN for quite a few years now and so have you. You know full well that this lady has taken the first steps to being saved. She spoke it out of her mouth(confession) then asked Jesus to come into her heart and save her. She has been born again. Jesus declared that if we did this, He would not turn us away. God(Jesus) does not and will not lie. If you have been a christian for any length of time,Mima. You should know the answer to this question.

Mima::What assurance do you have of being saved as much as the waitress and that goes for me too.But we HOPE that God will see our endeavour to worship please pray & honour Him by avoiding sin, any thing else is OSAS which is a false Doctrine.I wish you would not spread that anymore.
---Emcee on 11/23/07

What is the point of your question? God is the one that knows someone's heart and we are to have a personal relationship with his son Jesus Christ.Ssounds like you are bragging about witnessing to someone. What your question should be is asking everyone to pray that God works in this persons heart.

Only God knows for certain if this waitress is one of His. We are not to judge anyone's eternal destiny, as we have no way of knowing absolutely what is happening or has happened in their heart. The person who witnessed to her should try to encourage her to get into a local Bible teaching church for continued discipleship, or even do the discipleship themselves if they live in the same area.

Elder, I agree with you that we have ample time to choose our stance in this life. The Lord has not left Himself without testimony in our lives, and has been gracious enough to have given us the choice. Lets remember, it was not our right in our sinful state to have eternal life. Gods peace shine down on you my fellow heir to life.

Jacques thank you for your comments and the way you wrote them.
What I was speaking about in "what we do with Christ" was meaning if we accept Him or reject Him.
As you say our works only really count after we know Him.
I was understanding Cliff to say that the wicked have another chance to be Saved after they die. That brought about my comment.
Thanks again. May God continue to Bless you.

My brothers and sisters, The Lord has been gracious, He has answered my prayers. He has opened my eyes to this truth. I now know that, as Believers, arguing, as well as conversations that go nowhere, are actually the cause of not knowing Our Fathers Almightiness. This might take a bit of mulling over in the mind, another thing that I have been pressed with. Ask yourselves this. If ur church closed its doors, would the community u live in be affected?
---Jacques on 1/11/06

Elder, the Lord is doing a good work in you. I noticed in your last post on the 8th you said it depends on what we do with Christ. Now maybe that was just a typo, but I do not believe that to be true. It is our faith that determines. If we have any I should say. But faith without works is dead. since threw works we shine our light, which is also a clear representation of the renewing of our minds. In order to do works that ascend to God as a memorial for us... We need to have faith. God bless you brother.

1st Cliff: I'm new to this page. I found it by chance. I admire your earnestness in wanting to discuss scripture, and I know that the Lord has you in mind. You have knowledge, the knowledge that God has given you. Not to fight Him, but to be used by Him. I have a strong stirring in my spirit, and the Lord has told me that you will be a child of the Most High. I belong to Aaron House, a non-denominational church, in Courtenay B.C. My Church is unwavering in the belief of the Trinity, and the Word.

Thank you M.A.

Cliff no one has "turned" on you. When you, me, or anyone makes a statement that is not understood to be in line with Biblical teaching then they should be questioned.
Your statement on your last post about the dead being resurrected and must accept Christ as savior, they do not get a second chance after the 1st Death. That is why God speaks of the second death.
We will either be resurrected to life or death based on what we did with Christ while in this present body of flesh.
---Elder on 1/8/06

Alan; I believe my faith is scripture based. A thumbnail sketch -(scripture on request) God made humans to in habit the earth (not heaven) Jesus'sacrifice righted the wrong of Adam, Paradise of Eden will be restored after satan and his demons are thrown in tarterus. God dealt exclusively with Israel 'till the 6th century BC. Door opened to non Jews 1st cetury. Final battle will rid the earth of evil ones.Dead will be resurrected! Must accept Christ as savior! OK?
---1st_cliff on 1/8/06

Apparantly a Massorah is a Catholic encyclopaedia. I only know that because I 'googled' the word.
---M.A. on 1/7/06

Cliff ... we do not turn on you ... at least I do not. But what I would like to know is what you DO believe, not just what you do not believe.
---alan8869_of_UK on 1/7/06

Eloy; Don't leave, a few of us on here take "flack" for our stands . If you leave, more will turn on!

Moderator, 12,000 people in 1 month, wow. That's great. Is that from all the who's who blogs?

Moderator - This is traffic coming directly into various blog questions and answers. Bottomline, we as a group of daily bloggers have a one time opportunity to be a good witness and touch a life for Christ.

Rom.10:10 " With the heart man believes to righteousness and with the mouth confession is made to salvation".
Rom. 10:13 "Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved"
Of course she would be saved. Why shouldn't she? I'm glad someone believes it or no one would bother witnessing any more.P.T.L.
---john on 1/5/06

Don't be a spoil-sport, Eloy. Just use proper grammar, and come back. Or are you too above the rest of us to have to use capitals and punctuation? It's not a big deal.
---Ann5758 on 1/4/06

How sad that once again, Eloy choses to leave a blog.
---alan8869_of_UK on 1/4/06

Eloy ... you say "So i do not apply the contemporary rules for writing English as contemporary rules do not apply to the inspired word" As you say, contemporary rules should not be used if you are writing the inspired word. As you are not writing the inspired word, it is appropriate therefore that you do use normal current rules for writing in English. As well as that, it helps us to read and understand what you are saying.

Moderator, no problem, my inspired words along with the inspired Bible passages, will no longer be published here at this blog.

Moderator - I don't understand your logic. If you misspell a word, we have to attempt to correct it so therefore, the i usually doesn't get posted anyway unless the moderator just wears out making corrections. The better written the information, the more people this blogging community gets to witness to. I hope the opportunity to witness to others would be why most of the daily bloggers are here.
---Eloy on 1/4/06

Elder, my reasons have been clear. This is an opportune time for me to leave this blog.
---Eloy on 1/4/06

Eloy, what in the world is Masorah?
---bethie on 1/4/06

Eloy, It is not too much to ask people who blog and post here to use capital I and punctuation. You are making work for the moderator. You are also making your writing look like a child wrote it. When it is a person or the first letter of a sentence, I is upper case. Out of consideration for people who are not fluent in English, we should try to make what we write as readable as possible. We do not help share the gospel by being defient.

Moderator - Just so all bloggers know. Last month 12,000 people came in from the search engines to read these blogs. By using correct grammar, etc more people will find the blogs and then we all will have more opportunity to be a good witness.

It appears to me, my, mine, I, them, and us that, you, Eloy, must make an argument of everything. If ChristiaNet, who allows you to post, wants you to spell "I" E-Y-E then why not just comply? Is that so hard? There is no one here that will ever mistake you for the Great I Am. By the way, you are not penning Scripture under inspiration.
---Elder on 1/4/06

moderator, writing "i" rather than "I" depicts a differentiation between the great "I" am, namely God, and "i" myself whom worships the I AM. The first writing had no punctuation nor capitalizations, but was written in one continual flow, like a river flowing. The punctuation marks and paragraphing and Massorah were added to the written word later. So i do not apply the contemporary rules for writing English as contemporary rules do not apply to the inspired word.

Moderator - Tell that to the search engines that kick ChristiaNet out because it looks like spam :)
---Eloy on 1/4/06

No one knows except her and God. We don't know her heart. Maybe it was a sincere prayer or maybe it was just uttering words. No one knows her heart.
---Rebecca_D on 1/4/06

YES! she is saved. Based on the verses mentioned by Eloy she has to be saved!! Don't believe she is saved? Slowly slowly read JOHN 6:37 again. Is the bible wrong??---mima-1/4/2006

Did GOD appoint someone here to be the judge? If so, plz. tell me who? Is anyone on this blog worthy to be the judge if someone has been accepted by GOD or not?
---Fred_S. on 1/4/06

Only God knows at the moment. It might become more apparant to human beings later on. By their fruits ye shall know them. What is your own answer to your question Mima?
---M.P. on 1/4/06

It's not a big question. Yes, she followed the Bible's directions as in John 6:37; Romans 10:9-13.

Moderator - Please cap the first letter of the first word of a sentence and the word "I". I am having to proof your text. Thanks.
---Eloy on 1/3/06

Mima, were YOU the one who witnessed to her and led her to Christ? If so, why do you doubt what the SPIRIT DID in her life by using you? If not, why do you doubt what the SPIRIT DID in her life by using someone else? Conviction, surrender, and salvation are all the work of the Holy Spirit. Without his presence, none of it can take place. This question, you should ask GOD, not us- for only he knows the sincerity of her heart
