Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
You don't need to reference blog numbers, look inside your bible.
There is the claim that blasphemy is rejecting Jesus Christ, but Jesus Christ, Himself did not say that.
Jesus Christ gave us the definition of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, written in red.

Jesus Christ says in His Word written in red, by Jesus...

In red, Matthew 12:31, 32

...speak a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him,
but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit,

It Will Not Be Forgiven him,
either in this age or in the age to come.
---Cindy on 2/6/08

Jesus Christ says in the Word written in red,

in Mark 3:28, 29

..all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may UTTER

..But he who blasphemes against the HOLY SPIRIT NEVER HAS FORGIVENESS,
but is subject to ETERNAL CONDEMNATION.

UTTER, SPEAK....attributing the works of the Holy Spirit to satan, mocking the Holy Spirit.

It is not as some would falsely claim, rejecting Jesus Christ.

This is an oft repeated question. You will find it dealt with in the following ChristiaNet Blogs:

Where did you S. get that idea of what the unpardonable sin is? Jesus explained it real well what it is. Once you are damned you are damned. But while you are on this earth you do not want to commit that sin, because you absolutely have no chance.

Steven, it's important to read what was going on when Jesus said what the unpardonable sin is. Right after people were declaring Jesus was possessed by a demon he talked of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Mark 3:29-30 29But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

30Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
---Matthew on 6/24/07

Ok....the one unpardonable sin of course is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. All that is, is dying without knowing Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord. That is the only sin you can commit that can take you away from the lord and damn your soul to the lake of fire.
---Steven on 6/23/07

I myself believe that it is standing in public and denying Christ as your personal savior. I believe that someone that kills themself can be allowed into Heaven if they believe Christ is their savior, however this is NOT the belief of many churches.

Personally I dont think its possible to commit the unpardonable sin today. The context was that the pharasees accused Jesus of performing miracles by the power of the devil. Hence they said the Holy Spirit was the devil. If you are a christian you have the Spirit of God in you and you will not be able to commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

I just reread my posts and i must apologize they sound very sarcastic and that is not my intention.......When the pharasees accused JESUS of blasphamy what were they accusing HIM of.?? Again i apologize for the wording of my pervious posts, LOVE JESUS
---co_ach on 1/20/06

Blasphamy is speaking evil of or making a mockary of...and if you do this intentionally then JESUS says you are in danger of eternal damnation.

And also just because you can find someone to agree with you doesn`t make your assumption correct...two in one accord means nothing if they are not in accord with the Word or Spirit of GOD.
---co_ach on 1/19/06

AMEN ROBERT!!! Seems two are in one accord..yet I need the dictionary? It is commen sence. The BIBLE says that ALL sin can be if ALL sin can be forgiven then that would mean that everyone would be in heaven right? NO!!! The only way to heaven is through the blood of JESUS!! Once you except Christ, you get the Holy Spirit. If you do not accept Christ you do not recieve the Holy Spirit. So blasphemy would be not accepting Christ.
---Steve on 1/19/06

Deliberately rejecting God's plan of salvation and denying the truth of it is calling the Holy Spirit a liar and thus blaspheming Him. This is indeed what the Bible means by "the unforgivable sin".
---Robert on 1/18/06

Steve needs a dictionary......Blasphamy IS the only unpardonable sin...but blasphamy doesn`t mean "not accepting CHRIST as your Savior"....someone look up the definition and post it please.
---co_ach on 1/18/06

The unpardonable sin...blasphemy...not accepting Christ as your saviour. So if your not worry about it cause a saved person can not blaspheme the Holy Spirit for they have already accepted it.
---Steve on 1/17/06

To me I think that it would be saying that the miracles that Jesus perform is coming from Satan. And I also believe if a person keeps rejecting Jesus over time and time again, Jesus will turn a deaf ear toward that person, making it therefore the unpardonable sin.
