If you know who you are in yourself you don't change or respond differently toward moody people. If your talking about someone abusing you bc of their moods "choose to act not react" to moods.
Address issues not the tone of voice or look on their face, it is not productive and some people are more volatile then even they care to be.
Treat it as an exercise in patience.

Love them and pray for them.

I'm waiting to see what kind of replies you get. All I know about moody people is they can drive you nuts! It's like walking on eggshells around them. I've even seen pastors like that and you go to church not knowing from one day to the next what their disposition will be.

wow ulrika, i didn't know that. It is good that you can accept how God has made you. And at least from what I know, You are doing just fine.

I am one of them, so I am told. That is because I have bipolar. I have the brain the Lord gave me, so I have to live with me. I pray and remember the verse. 2Tomothy 1:7 I also take medicine, and try to avoid disturbing programs on TV.

Moody people are often sensitive people. They take things to heart easily and can only deal with one issue at a time. Once they get a perspective of the situation they are usually okay again. Just give them some space, they'll come out of it. (I'm not saying it's okay to be moody. Moody people need to work on overcoming that.)

Another cause could be sickness. Give anyone a years-long, dull, nagging discomfort and you're probably going to witness some crankiness.

I grew up in a household of moody people. I hated walking on eggshells around them. I never knew what to expect, and it was not a pleasant experience.

Moody people are generally chemically imbalanced. Stable people generally eat organic foods, read the Bible and laugh a lot.
