Simply TRUSTING that what Jesus did and the fact that He also left the Spirit for us to have the guarantee of salvation glorifies Him (instead of performing deeds trying to "ACHEIVE worthiness",...self works).

The "works" that we are supposed to do are the "WORKS OF GOD" by simply RESTING in Him and trusting that He did everything that is necessary for us to enter the new heaven... (not just CRUCIFIXION).

John 6:28

"Then they said to him, "What must we do, to be doing the works..."

John 9:3 (Jesus said that HE CAME to do the "works of God" for us).
"that the WORKS OF GOD might be made manifest (done) in him".

We can glorify God by TRUSTING.

Start learning doctrine daily from your right pastor-teacher, just as the apostles did from the Lord Jesus Christ. Then apply this doctrine to your life.

We glorify God in everything we do, say, act, ect. Or do we glorify God in everything we do, say, act, and ect? So many are not. Suppose too. It becomes a little discouraging the so called Christians sometimes really messes up. When only a few of us work so hard for God's good name. I know noone is perfect but good grief do we have to mess up before the whole world? What about God's reputation?

Psalm 50:23
[23] Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Try to praise God in the bad times as well as the good times if you really want to glorify God.

Paul and Silas glorified God more in prison than most Christians do in their hallowed halls of heresy today.

Maybe that's why God did miracles for them.

But...That goes against the mainstream!

And...The name it and claim it!

yes, you can glorify God by living for him, being a witness in how you live your life. Use your talents for him. You can also help others who can't help themselves. The list could go on and on.

The answer is quite simple, actually. 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God." Don't bother TELLING people you are a christian, live your life so closely to the Master's that they will wonder what the difference is!

2Th 1:12 That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ."

He glorifies Himself. Not much we can do to improve upon the Lord of glory. Just look unto Jesus.

"2Th 1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.
2Th 1:11 Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
