Teaching my grandkids about Jesus.

Doers, starts with geting yourself right with Gods word first.Man what a chore that can be until truly in your mind you believe that the process of belief, combined with faith applied to ALL areas of your life are required. We are ambassadors of Christ.when you realize it the holy spirit enables you to be a doer.the most important thing you could accomplish is to become a recognisable follower of christ.

Since mid January, I have travailed to The Lord, for His blessing to get my business going successfully, I have stripped, overhauled, changed, refined, redone, and remodeled the business He gave me to do three or four times since. I have found all the weeds the enemy uses to come against me in my life, and my partners life, my family's lives, her families lives, my children's lives, all our families, I have found his weeds, broke all his power by the cross, and set our families free.

I spend alot of my time with Jesus, Also on these blogs and am I a learning alot. Also, God is real busy, training and teaching me in a whole bunch of areas. And I have got to tell you it is not easy. BUT, I love Him, what can I say. Thank you Jesus!

Today I recieved instruction from a friend in faith (one of my flock that I taught!) and my first instinct was to defend and justify myself.

Instead I listened and when I took the words to heart my tears affirmed the truth of her words.

Interesting that I was just about to pray to God and confess my sin, but wanted to check the blogs first, and oh how providential that this question is here that I may testify of her faithfulness.

Thank you.

Matthew 6:1-4, "Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men.

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly."

I'm a giver, with a glad heart. I give not only to those in need, but to show I care or am thinking of someone. I give not only what I can't use, but things I'd love to keep, I make gift baskets to sell, and to give away.
I read to each of my two grandchildrens class on one of my weekdays off. Tomorrow I'm taking all 45-50 of them a token for allowing me to spend time with them three times each semester:) It's such a joy, and my grandchildren and I get to see each other in a different setting.

I pray everytime I hear sirens, that there is no loss of life or serious injury in Jesus name. I unknowingly prayed it for my own sister after hearing of a terrible rollover accident one day as I was leaving my home She was in a coma for two weeks, had massive internal injuries, and spent months in rehab. The Lord healed some and has taught her to live with the rest, she finished nursing school, and later went back for her Bachelors in nursing.
He is faithful ...

I recently forgave someone who betrayed me. I blessed someone with money because she needed it. I gave a bag of food from my freezer to this poor woman I know. I prayed in the Spirit for a while to ask Father to break the bonds of wickedness off of an alcoholic friend. I showed mercy to someone who did something here at work that broke security's rules--she gave out my email address to someone from another company and that's a security breach.

On the way to work, I listen to Praise CDs and sing them. That is doing the Word. While at work, I kept my temper, and loved my students. That is doing the Word. I was honest and forthright in my dealings. That is doing the Word.

Once you are a Christian, and I am, who am I to do nothing? Studying scriptures and applying them to my life daily has kept me alive from the inside out. I fail. We all fail. Many people I know have become content with where they are. Their flame has become like an ember smoldering...but God is faithful and He can do anything. I pray lots more than I act sometimes. What do you do?
