The RCC has so much power and authority over Catholics lives. They get away with molesting and tearing down young boys lives and usually never pay for their crimes, against these kids. Such a shame. How Catholics pray to Mary and respect the Pope so highly, but they mostly disregard the teaching and commands of God, who can destroy both body and soul. This blows my mind.

Mind boggling. Gods ways are not our ways.
I often stop and wonder about the plan of God - no man could have figured this out. Give till it hurts. Give up and lean on Him and you will be strong - whats wrong with this picture - its not my pic its His.

For years the "foolishness" of the cross kept me from it.
Of course one has to first be convicted of sin, and I was among those who said, "I'm a good person" not taking the time to understand what this God required or even consider for a moment that he might be God.
It goes against everything we see set up in the world today; nobody gives all he has without getting something in return.
That Brothers and Sisters is how we can be sure that God did it.

That God, the creator and sustainor of all things, would humble Himself to be born into this wicked world to live and die for such a sinner as myself. Thank you Jesus for your wondrous grace and mercy.

Thank you, tom2. Now I see the point. God bless you.

It blows my mind even more that when my mouth gets me in trouble, God continues to cover me and bail me out of the situation. Love does indeed cover a multitude of sins. It blows my mind that he blesses me like he does when I don't deserve it. Jesus blows my mind, as my mind can't fully comprehend the length, depth and width of his love for us.

slang, I guess. it means a thought that awes your mind, that you are not able to fathom or perceive how a situation or circumstance is taking place the way it is.Beyond your ability to logically understand.
---tom2 on 6/2/06|
What do you mean exactly by "blow your mind"? This should be an English idiomatic expression. Is this a new one? I haven't heard my high school and college English teachers using this phrase. Is this slang?
---Raine on 6/1/06|
God's mercy is what blows my mind. When I think of how patient, and kind, and loving, God is. No matter what we have done, are doing, or will do to ourselves and to this world we live in. He picks us up, dusts us off, and pushes us out to try again. And when we get it right, his spirit swells within us. WOW

Yes I am thankful that God sent his son down to dwell among us & to die for us. I am thankful Jesus came down & died for us, left his fathers home that is so perfect , to come here to Earth that is full of sin. So that we might have the opportunity to recieve everlasting life & to dwell with him & his father in their kingdom.

Everything about the the Father that I know given my finite understanding blows my mind. To quote a song "Further along we'll know all about it. Further along we'll understand why. So cheer up my brother, live in the Son, we'll understand better when morning comes". I can hardly wait until the Father awakens me to His new day. To know Him ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that I might know Him even as I am known by Him!

Not only that, but what really blows me away is, when a woman becomes pregnant, her child is in the womb for 9 months, but they are in water the whole 9 months, but when they come out of the womb, they can't live in water anymore, for they will drown. Another thing is, that God made us out dirt, yet we are a living soul. God's ways are so amazing.

I was in my mid 20's before I could actually SEE how Jesus gave His life for ME, so that I might be saved.
It causes me to weep yet when the Holy Spirit reminds me that no matter what my past held, I am forgiven and Jesus never stopped loving me!
I am brought to my knees often in gratitude, and respect at such a loving and forgiving Father.
It causes me to pray harder for the lost ones who don't know what they are missing!
Dear God what a peace and burning you bring to my heart.
